Another thing to blame on Obama. For the first time in 30 years unemployment has dropped in every state.

You're welcome.
Courtesy of The Wall Street Journal:

Unemployment fell in every state and the nation’s capital last year—something that hadn’t happened since 1984.

The broad decline, revealed in a Labor Department report Wednesday, offers the latest sign the labor market recovery kicked into a higher gear in 2014. The declines varied broadly.

Unemployment fell the most in Illinois, where the rate dropped 2 percentage points from the prior year to an average 7.1%. The rate declined by 1.8 points in Colorado, North Carolina and Ohio.

North Dakota, at the center of the nation’s energy boom of the past few years, had the lowest jobless rate of any state at 2.8% last year.

Unemployment across the entire U.S. fell 1.2 points to 6.2% last year.

Gee look, President Obama DID fundamentally change America.

For the better.

Meanwhile the Palin herd does their part sustaining the high jobless rate for Alaska.

Sarah Palin and her Exceptional American™ colleagues who love this country MUST remember, in light of this amazing progress, to continue the good fight against the radical white Negro who hates Freedom and Jesus and will obviously stop at nothing to destroy our guns and kittens and heterosexual liberties.

"Unemployment across the entire U.S. fell 1.2 points to 6.2% last year." When will America be free of this Kenyan terrorist tyrant??!

That's great news for folks lucky enough to have some skills to find a job.

Oh, and speaking of dropping, Don Young's reputation went down to absolute zero with this comment on live video about how
wolves could solve the homeless problem by EATING THEM!

    "Quote:
“And we’ve got 79 congressmen sending you a letter, haven’t got a damn wolf in their whole district. I’d like to introduce them to your district. I introduce them in your district, you wouldn’t have a homeless problem any more.”

What a fucking senile vicious bastard this guy is. Who would vote for him besides Palin worshipers?

Luck has nothing to do with education. Education is available to every American. There is a way ( not always easy) for everyone to go to tech/vocational school and even college.

Anon 7:18 AM you are absolutely right. I will never forget the time I set someone straight who was whining that she wished she had "been given the opportunity" to go to law school as I did. She had a high school diploma and had gotten married and started having kids as soon as she graduated. On the other hand I went to college and law school for 7 long years, struggled with paying for it and lived like a pauper, postponed marriage until I was 24 and didn't have my first kid until 28. I informed her that NO ONE had GIVEN me any opportunities, but that I had made choices that she too could have made. My parents were dirt poor and I knew that she could not have been any poorer than me no matter what she thought. Choices!! Deferred gratification! That's what creates opportunities and skills - not luck.

Meh, there are some states where the unemployment will not improve anymore from where it's at, A good example of that would e the state of Minnesota with Governor Mark Dayton ( D) who dug the state out of Pawlentys ( R) debt in a few short years and enjoys( I just read an article) 3.6 % unemployment.
Now I doubt that unemployment rate will ever go any lower, we do have a percentage of our society that is just not capable of holding down a job.

C'mon 6:41, that was snark at the tea party group who constantly twist President Obama's name. They think they are clever, much like a child does, when name calling.

No no NO! If unemployment fell in Wisconsin, that is all due to the master strokes of Scott Walker! Same in all the red states. After all, they deny the federal government even exists, so how could it have helped them? And Walker needed to be able to say "See! I did create all those jobs I promised back in 2009! It just took longer because of Obama and his stupid policies." And the rubes will buy that.
Meanwhile, our President just keeps on keeping' on, and doing his job. We love you, Mr. President!!
