It is becoming harder to read and listen to citizen united owned media. The marketing and deception?. The sold out politicians?. The corruption?. I see and smell global opportunist. America has been sold. Our society is divided. Our soil, air and water is polluted. Our society is a sewer pond. We are not united. We see white and gold or black and blue while looking at the same horizon. Lack of respect for life is the norm, 24/7 opportunist media is boring. Its all about Takers, Fakers, Liars. I hope that in the near future society reverses and that the consumer and middleclass once again move the country forward instead of global greed.
The Entire GOP Field for 2016 is as Tainted as a Bucket of Rotten Meat
If you are looking for a Republican candidate in 2016 who isn’t either bought and paid for by the Kochs, or in thrall to the Religious Right – or both – good luck. Not one of them has your interests at heart. Or for that matter, America.
...The 2016 elections will be nothing less than an attempt by Religious conservatives to destroy America and turn it into a 13th century-ish, Islamic State-like apparatus of repression. We have already seen agreement by the Religious Right and the Islamic State on certain theological issues, with the major disagreement between them being what to call God and the set of anti-constitutional religious laws used to hold us all in thrall.
Practically speaking, from where the rest of us stand, it doesn’t matter if we are being repressed by Sharia law or the Law of Moses. Repressed is repressed. I warned you that the 2014 midterms would be a vote between democracy and theocracy. It was, and democracy lost. But in 2016, we are electing not only a congress but a president.
One thing become clear in all this: the enemy isn’t in Iraq and Syria. The enemy is here. And they’re coming for us in 2016.
Netanyahu Speech Flops As Democratic Senators Withdraw Their Support For Iran Bill
Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu’s speech to Congress continues to backfire, as key Democratic senators have withdrawn their support for a Senate bill that would have reviewed any nuclear agreement with Iran.
...Republicans have gone too far in allowing the leader of a foreign nation, ally or not, to stand in a place reserved for the President and insult Americans; particularly insinuating that he will ‘act alone’ to protest Obama Administration’s diplomatic negotiations to prevent another Middle East war; all while demanding more money for ‘war funding.’ The President was not impressed with Netanyahu’s speech and told Republicans, and the foreigner, that “the Prime Minister didn’t offer any viable alternatives,” and that “foreign policy runs through the executive branch and the president, not through other channels.”
That simple statement alone rankles neo-conservative warmongers and Republicans who still cannot countenance that the leader of the free world, and America, is Barack Obama; not Benjamin Netanyahu. Despite what un-American conservatives believe, not only does Netanyahu not speak for the civilized world, he does not speak for America and it is damn high time Republicans get that through their dysfunctional heads.
