More reasons to dislike Arkansas Rep. Tom Cotton, author of that treasonous letter to Iran. As if we needed more.

They are already calling this guy Sarah Palin with a college degree.

And you know that is just about the worst thing that anybody could possibly call somebody.

This creature is more dangerous than Palin. That letter to Iran that he and the other 46 simpletons signed is just the beginning of his ambition. The whole lot of them will not rest until they make their authoritarian fantasies come true. We must be vigilant.

  4. There is no other way for him to make a name for himself except to author the infamous 'mutinous' letter to Iran. He comes from a VERY small town in Arkansas, was privileged to go to Harvard where he did well, and now he wants to 'shine' to all his Randian-neo-con friends by becoming infamous for protecting America from a socialist Kenyan president. All he has done is become a laughingstock. I think we should be wary and careful that he doesn't do something more sinister. This may just be the beginning and he has shown us how his devious 'little' mind works.

Far more dangerous than Granny grifter.

As soon as the Witch from Wasilla opened her mouth and spoke, most people could recognize the nasty uneducated fool for what she was: a political Kardashian that got lucky with one election in a state with a population of Columbus Ohio.

Tom Cotton has an education, and a military background, and he's from a Southern state.

That's a trifecta that Ted Cruz could only hope for, being from Canada.

We're going to see Cotton running for President within 15 years, no doubt.

There are millions of Americans who have a "military background" and that doesn't mean that they're smart.

    2. Beaglemom, you're right. A military background doesn't mean someone is smart. But undergrad and law degrees from Harvard indicate he has strong native intelligence, can pass stringent tests and think on his feet. Plus, he was an army ranger and he led men in combat, so he has competitiveness, backbone, and perseverance.

So what we have in Tom Cotton is a mentally sharp and tough individual who isn't afraid of hard work. He also isn't afraid to behave very strangely in public office.

A.J. Billings is right, too. Cotton is much more dangerous than the thin-skinned and ignorant Sarah Palin, who quickly caved under pressure. Comparisons are inevitable only because both of them threaten our basic human rights.

You know, I think Sarah Palin may be much scarier than this fellow, because she has a flock of sheep. Does he have a flock of sheep that will defend him, vote for him, rally to him? She is a hate-mongering media-addled harpy. He's just a senator with big ideas. Both are scary. Well, he is a senator, unlike Sarah, so he can wield power, where she can only lead her sheeples. So, I guess he's pretty horrible.

Well, enough people in the state voted for him so that he won the election. Pretty scary thought. What I can't figure out is why a PAC that is supposedly about being friendly to Israel would have given Cotton almost a million dollars near the end of the campaign. How important is Arkansas to Israel?

I am an Arkansan who knows somebody who went through school with cotton. The rumor in this small town has been for YEARS that he is a deeply closeted homosexual. I pity his parents who recorded tv ads by the dozen about his machismo. He finally married only a few weeks before the election which caused a lot of snickering in certain areas of the state.
