Uh oh! It looks like they're on to us!

Okay why is that if we criticize somebody on the Right Wing, or ask questions about their story, that it immediately means we hate them.

For the record I don't hate Dakota Meyer.

Pity, yes. Hate, no.

Hey, but at least they admit that Liberals use logic. At least I think that's what they're saying.

Oh, for cry sake!! We do not "hate" this poor deluded hillbilly. If we did, we would all congratulate him on his pending nuptuals to the Wasilla Whore. This is why the so-called right are always wrong. They try to unload all their problems onto us. The PayMe's and this faker are all YOURS. When it implodes, we will not even say "Told ya so"

Right out of the pages of the Sarah Palin Play Book!
Step one: Invent an imaginary enemy! (Liberals, Lame stream media, East coast elite etc).
Step two: Pretend to be victimized by said group.
Step three: Lie and falsely accuse said group of "Hatred"

This graphic has got to be one of the most shameful attempts of self promotion that has ever circulated on the internet. I could never hate Dakota or the person responsible for designing the above graphic. I could only fell sorry for them because their entire concept is pathetic and it wreaks of desperation!

Only a delusional nut bag conservative would suggest that the Bristol Palin's engagement is "right up there" with receiving the congressional medal of honor!! Because sticking a ring on the finger of some desperate chick is the same as saving lives in a kill zone! LOL! So SAD!!!

My reaction is just one of being appalled and, mostly, being speechless at the total lack of class and good taste of the whole thing. Not enough room in my heart or head for pity, and definitely no energy or interest in hate – for him, them, or anyone else. Hating requires a level of energy that I am not interested in investing in anyone. Ever. Period. And THAT deep opinion/belief/preference, shared by most lefties, is one huge thing that distinguishes us from righties. Righties love to hate, and spend a lot of their time talking and writing about it, just as did the person who made the Dakota Meyer internet-circulated 'poster' that is the subject of this article (perhaps Dakota or one of the Palins, who use the word hate more than anyone else I can think of). Whenever I see righties accusing liberals of hate, I know they are self-projecting, just one more time.

    Talk about a straw man!

Both numbers 1 and 2 would not make us "hate" Dakota Meyer.
We have had strong arguments against both wars, and how they've been handled. That doesn't make us "hate" any of the service men and women who were sent to fight those wars.

Also, there are serious questions about Mr. Meyer's heroism.
We don't "hate" him by asking questions about what really took place. We might very much decry a system that keeps having to manufacture heroes in order to justify sending our troops to fight those wars.

Finally, we don't hate Mr. Meyer for becoming engaged to Bristol Palin. I actually feel compassion for him, because I think, based on his own testimony, he's a rather fragile person right now -- PTSD, alcoholism, suicide attempt -- and he doesn't need a high-maintenance woman in his life. Bristol needs and wants the spotlight on her at all times, and, I fear, won't have a lot of time or sense to give him the peace and space he needs now.

None of these add up to "hate," except when the wing nuts want to pretend they're being victimized by libruls.

I wonder what Saint Ronald Reagan would say, the President who was shot by a lunatic, and whose press secretary, James Brady, was brain-damaged for life by the same insane man, who got his handgun with no background check, and could walk up to the President on the sidewalk and just fire away?

A nice conservative young man, from a nice rich conservative family, who was judged too insane to be sent to prison, and has been living a comfortable life, with release days to see his family, since 1981.

    O/T
Donny Deutsch: Ted Cruz Is the New Sarah Palin

Upon Senator Ted Cruz’s (R-TX) announcement that he’srunning for the presidency host Mika Brzezinski said that though she didn’t agree with a single thing Cruz believed, at least the GOP’s new crop of candidates was a vast improvement over the “clown car” of 2012.

Here occasional guest Donny Deutsch disagreed: “He’s Sarah Palin,” Deutsch argued Monday morning. “He’s theater. That’s what Sarah Palin was. We love the show, okay. But when it comes time for the grown-up voting…”

“Please don’t make me explain why he’s not Sarah Palin,” Brzezinski said. “I would get killed.”

“I’m not saying he’s not smarter,” Deutsch said. “I’m saying, where he exists in our conscience. By the way, would anybody like to make a bet that come November 16 he is not going to be part of the discussion?

I knew nothing at all about him until the anti-Michael Moore poster. That certainly showed that he's not too bright partly because thinly-veiled threats are not a good thing and because he was next to the Queen of the Crosshairs, Sarah Palin. I don't so much dislike him (I do not know him personally) but I question his bona fides for 1) public speaking as a "leading authority" and 2) for wanting to be president when he has absolutely nothing to offer the country. Does that make me a "hater"? I don't think so.

I'd say most liberals don't 'hate'. I'd say most liberals don't hate Dakota Meyer. I don't hate Dakota Meyer. There will always be deceivers who say liberals or right-wingers personally hate, but the majority of citizens are decent intelligent people know the difference between hating an ideology versus hating the man.

What is hated most? It's the behaviors of those who exploit others; the act of selfishly using patriotic honor and valor, of those who died or those who still live, and make cash off of it; the act of smearing and slandering the weak, those who live off of food stamps, or those who are disabled, physically, emotionally, mentally, and can't work. It's the mocking of these in public and saying things like, "Buck up or stay in the truck". It's the hubris and vitriol with which these kind use when writing their op-eds or facebook rants towards others who actually work toward progress, regardless of what their religion, ethnicity, race, or lifestyle is. It's the way they perceive their world, where only those who live exactly like they live, are super-human. It's how they love to attack others, yet live like unchristian hedonists. THAT is what we hate.

Then, when the offenders get kick-back, they get their panties in a wad and go off on 'liberals', creating this scapegoat for their hatred of anything 'not them'. They behave like an hypnotized cult that believes their god wants them to mock and laugh at the suffering, and cut off the oppressed, the hurt, the lonely, the dependent, the homeless veterans, the suicidal, the despondent, and tell them FUC_U. That's what I hate.

In the old days, the child's mouth would have been washed out with soap first. Even for small children, the behavior of the right wing is beyond atrocious. Dakota Meyer: If you read here, don't give in to the propaganda machine of the Palins and their puppet masters. No one hates you, in fact, the nation appreciates your service and courage.

Someone is trying to create a wedge between the political stage. Political views don't pay the bills, get up in the night and care for the 104 degree fever of that baby, and have to punch in the clock at 7:30 am the next morning. Real Americans have to work to eat. Many depend on their representatives to do the right thing. They do not get excited at hating on others.

Don't be deceived by those who use an emotion called HATE to get what they want. Don't make money trying to play that game, getting people to HATE what you do. Don't play to people. You won't sleep well at night.

Do good. Be an example to your peers and younger men. Don't create fake persona, be yourself. Don't live your life enjoying the demise of your critics, and don't give in to HATE and vengeance. HATE eats the heart like an acid.

Repel those that thrive on hate and self-pity. Help those lesser than you, and don't entertain fools that mock them. Don't give in to the dark side. Seek the light, and if you know who the light is, seek it earnestly.

Dakota Meyer is changing from hero into a rather pitiful public persona. He isn't all bad, his good deeds are used and manipulated. Yes, he has the whole of what we were warned about behind him. (or military–industrial–congressional complex)
      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8y06NSBBRtY

Yes, he was brave and courageous. But how much was inflated? How much does a brain injured combat vet believe about the confusion of war and the interpretation of others?
"This second story, has only officially surfaced a few months ago, when it was announced that a young Marine Cpl. with an all American name of Dakota Meyer, had been recommended to be the second living person in the Afghanistan War to receive the Medal of Honor. the official story until Bing's riveting account has been that Cpl. Meyer braved intense fire on at least two occasions in a vain effort to save four fellow Marine comrades who had been trapped in an ambush by over 150 Taliban. This story when fully told, will place Dakota Meyer's name alongside such legendary Marines as Sgt. Dan Daly, John Basilone, and soldiers Audie Murphy and Sgt Alvin York. I will not even try and paraphrase the story of Cpl. Meyers on that day in September of 2009 except to draw a thin outline of his bravery....."

Dakota bought into the propaganda hook line and sinker before the Palin machine marked him for another pawn and the replacement for the now missing Track Palin. Who was a dismal failure for everyone's propaganda.

"Sarah Palin is Cool" is early Track propaganda from the military.

The article has been shuttered. It claimed "where he (Track) began as a driver for a Stryker vehicle and was eventually promoted to "air guard," which means standing in the hatch of the vehicle with a rifle and watching out for threats to the vehicle. His unit also provided security for the brigade's top officers."

This propaganda failed and officials had to back track what they said and purge the internet the best they could. The correction about Track as "a driver for a Stryker vehicle" and "security for the brigade's top officers." Barely made the news or media. The news of the lies are prominent. Many people today repeat and believe them.

What kind of people are these that get so much joy out of imagining that people hate them? They just THRIVE on the idea that somewhere, some way, there's some "liberal" bunch of people out there who can't sleep at night 'cause they're just so angry and eaten up with hate for the Palins... instead of just facing the fact that they are nothing but a JOKE and they're getting laughed at by people on both sides. Leaving loaded automatic weapons laying around the house is plenty of reason to dislike this guy. Add a baby to the mix and you're fair game. Marrying Barstool doesn't enter the matter at all.

Earning the MOH was a moment in time not a lifetime achievement. Overall he's a loser. I hope he finds a good biographer in a year or two. He should have some things to share that I might be interested in by that time.

Dakota and Bristol do have a lot in common. Both have been shoved into the public eye without having any substance or personality or anything else to warrant their being there. There are newspaper reports which doubt the accuracy of Dakota's story. It looks like PR for the military. Bristol was pushed into being a "public personality" by her mother without having any talent or personality or education. They are two of a kind, image in front of the camera and nothing else.

Add a baby to the mix, a bottle of Jack Daniels and a wife with a gun who likes to drink and fight is a train wreck waiting to happen.

      Don't blink

When Dakota appeared on the Letterman show, Dave told him to get an education. When President Obama hung the medal of honor around Dakota's neck, he told Dakota to get an education. Take a look at Dakota's facebook page and you'll see that he writes like a kid in middle school, poorly constructed sentences, typos that he doesn't bother to proof read and just dumb stuff. No, he hasn't bothered to get an education. Why should he? He is out there giving speeches, making appearances and he has just become engaged to the political Palin family who do the same thing.

I just find it very telling that when conservatives try to mock liberals, they have to make shit up, and when Liberals want to mock conservatives, they just quote them verbatim.

Several years ago I attended the viewing (old Irish Catholic tradition) of a cousin who had fought in WWII. Like millions of others, he fought, was wounded more than once, was awarded medals, and came home to learn a trade under the GI Bill. He spent his adult life building a successful business in his trade. He married and raised his family, educated his children and got to enjoy his retirement.

He did not spend his adult life grifting off his wartime experiences and I'm sure there were lots of stories to tell. He fought in battles in North Africa, in Italy and in France. His war was over before the Allies entered Germany. (In those days hours in battle were added up and, after a soldier reached a certain number, he got to go home.) We had never known how extensive his wartime experience had been; we were small children when he and his brothers went off to war. But he certainly handled his war experiences a lot better than someone like Dakota Meyer, shown in a more recent IM post letting Tripp Palin handle an automatic weapon and, of course, in an earlier post with the nasty crosshairs poster. There were no guns in my cousin's home. I'm sure that my cousin and his brothers wanted nothing more to do with death and killing. My cousin and the millions like him who fought in all of America's wars are the soldiers and veterans I admire and respect.

You rock, Beaglemom. I just typed a long response to your post but it vanished. I don't have it in me right now to redo, but the gist is, my late father served in the Army during WW11, received multiple medals for saving people and would never even think of grifting off of those honors! To the contrary, he would rarely even discuss his service or the war. Thank you for your thoughtful post.
