Geraldo Rivera schools Eric Bolling that Saudi Arabia is far more dangerous than Iran.

Courtesy of Mediaite:

Geraldo Rivera battled a rather stunned Eric Bolling tonight on The O’Reilly Factor over his insistence that it is Saudi Arabia, not Iran, that represents the “gravest threat” to the United States.

Rivera said he’s as worried about a nuclear Iran as he is a nuclear Pakistan or a nuclear Iran. He told Bolling to stop reciting “propaganda that you have been spoon-fed by the Saudis,” and said that Saudi Arabia is a much bigger threat.

He cited attacks like the bombing of the USS Cole and 9/11 as evidence, but Bolling kept asking him where the money came from. They fought over that for a bit and Rivera rolled his eyes at Bolling’s “absolute baloney.”

I actually caught this on Friday, and was pretty surprised to see Rivera taking it to Bolling so aggressively.

And the thing is he is absolutely correct.

Attacking the anti-Iran talking points with facts on Fox News. Isn't that a sign of the Apocalypse?

Fixed "News" is also 40% owned by a Saudi. I'm guessing Geraldo won't be around there much longer.

I think the money for the bombing of the USS Cole and for 9/11 came from . . . Saudi Arabia. I will never forget the treasonous actions of the Bush administration in allowing the bin Laden family members and other prominent Saudis to fly out of the US during the first days after 9/11 - when no one else was allowed to travel. Despicable action on the part of George W. Bush. This country should never ever allow another Bush family member anywhere near the White House. In fact, let's ban them from Washington, D.C,, in perpetuity.

Geraldo is still an asshole, but at least he's not a complete idiot.

O/T for those who follow politics and all it twists and turns. Remember a while ago when Ms Palin was all in a lather about The People getting together and creating a new Constitutional Convention? here is an article, at a very right wing site, explaining why that would be such a bad idea.

"Other lawmakers pointed out that potential delegates to any Con Con would hardly be of the same caliber as the Framers of the existing Constitution. “I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but there aren’t any Thomas Jeffersons or James Madisons out there.”

No shit Sherlock.. I guess they don't have faith that Snowdrift Snookie can write

Ah yes the Saudis, sent their children to Harvard and Wharton School of business, all of a sudden the price of oil goes way up, big surprise.
Also the Rethugs never mention how much money, weapons, military aircraft we have given to them and gotten what? Higher price of oil.

Bush manged to keep quite flying the bin Ladins out the USA after 9/11, no journalist seemed to investigate what that was all about.

And which US President strolled hand in hand, and kissed on both cheeks, the Saudi Princes? Invited them to dinner at the White House? Yeah, Rivera is right on this one, but even a broken clock is right twice a day.

I love how Fox News males always speak over each other and make stupid arguments devoid of truth?
