Morality is not determined by the church you attend nor the faith you embrace. It is determined by the quality of your character and the positive impact you have on those you meet along your journey

Good question.
Yes of course this sign, and the church, are fake. But if they weren't would you think of attending?
When Arya reaches the House of Black & White, she's confused by the representations of all the many gods--which one is the Many-Faced God that she must serve. The Kindly Man tells her she already knows who he is, & that all men know his gift.
A bit of a riddle, but I think she'll figure it out. ;)
Of course, President Obama will be blamed. There has never been one word of approval from the GOP or 99% of the media for President Obama. Jerks one and all. I am very glad, however, that someone put that statement out. Hopefully people going by will think a little. Beaglemom
I'll suggest this to the church at the corner of O'Malley and Lake Otis (I spend a lot of time sitting at that light). They've been going through the same "Got God?" and "7 Days Without Prayer Makes One Weak", for years. Or, better yet, I'll just go over one night and change it for them?
There's this "church" in my old neighborhood and they stay up at night thinking of what to put on signs. Suddenly, the sign said "Someone Call 911 This Church is on Fire!! And that sign stayed there for months. The derp who changes the letters had passed away, but I always wonder how many idiots actually called the cops.
Thanks Gryph!

I'd go. I always favored the Old Gods anyway.

One of the local churches in town had this on its outside sign:
ReplyDeleteGo God
I'll drink to that.
I'd go.
ReplyDeleteI love a god with a sense of humor.
But only if I'm allowed to bring my dog.
You owe me a keyboard Gryph!

DeleteI'd go, but everyone would be inconvenienced because they'd have to wear hard hats when I walk in.
