As was pointed out to me yesterday Meyer is scheduled to appear during a 10-city tour kicking off in Norfolk, Virginia on May 23rd and making stops in Ohio, New Mexico, Nevada, North Carolina and Florida as well, for the group called Concerned Veterans for America.
Now as it turns out Concerned Veterans for America is actually a Koch funded non-profit that advocates for a reduction in federal spending and free market policies, which as we all know are things that most veteran's groups could not give two shits about.
They were also instrumental in driving that whole VA hospital waiting list "scandal." (You remember, the scandal that has been going on for over twenty years but only became an issue with conservatives once the black guy was in charge. )
Here is what The Nation said back then:
An ever-present force in this debate was a group called Concerned Veterans for America. Its leader, Peter Hegseth, frequently appeared on cable news segments about the scandal, and CVA was often mentioned on the floor of the Senate.
Though the group doesn’t disclose its donors, it has for a long while been clear the group is funded in part, or perhaps even in full, by the Koch brothers. Any remaining doubt can now be erased thanks to audio from the secretive Koch donor retreat this summer, obtained by The Undercurrent and reported here.
Hegseth addressed the crowd and not only confirmed that the Koch network “literally created” CVA but explained giddily “the central role that Concerned Veterans for America played in exposing and driving this crisis from the very beginning.”
Now it appears that Meyer has been associated with this group pre-Palin but just in case you were not convinced about his absorption into her network, here he is appearing on Fox and Friends to discuss ISIS and attacking the President.

If the marriage of Dakota and Bristol ends on a bad note, Dakota could end up turning on the Palins and talk to the press about what a fraud they are. Knowing how long they have known each other, and the fact they both seem to be alcoholics, it stands a very real possibility.

It is really sad what happened to Track Palin. There was a time when Sarah Palin was proud of her tattooed warrior body PTSD combat vet son Track who was going to be her poster boy that was going to lead Sarah to the White House. Track has recently disappeared from Sarah's life and has been replaced by Medal of Honor Winner PTSD Dakota Meyer who himself said he will be ready to run for president of the United States of America in 2024. Suddenly Bristol went through a time where she showed off that she acquired some high end accessories.
It looks like someone was bargaining with her, setting her up if you will. It is uncertain how exactly things went down, but suddenly Bristol has a quick engagement to a guy that is not her type and there is a big rush to get her married in two months. (by mid May to first of June).
The last high end item for Bristol was a ring that may or may not be expensive. Sarah Palin may have worked out the financing for the engagement ring.
Then Bristol suddenly has an alleged bridal shower, which would be to send the single mother happily into domestic bliss with items for the home, cooking, sexy negligee and things to give the newly weds a good start. Suddenly, Bristol has no gifts to show. She has no friends other than her best friend to come to her send off shower.
It all looks like a red flag and all is not well with Sarah's current scheme.
It is highly plausible that Bristol was bought off with things, trips and goodies. It all built up to make Dakota look more appealing to her. Especially if she has been assured he will have the best surgeons and all for his make over.
