Apparently this photo has already been shared over 52,000 times.
Hopefully by people like myself who simply want to demonstrate the ignorance of some of these assholes.
Back in high school (not too long ago) my boyfriend and I were hanging out in a park which, unbeknownst to us, was actually a notorious hook-up spot for anonymous man-on-man shenanigans. That day, we encountered several dudes on the prowl, on foot, in their pickups-- two of which brazenly propositioned us-- and all of whom looked EXACTLY like this varmint.
I don't know about you, but just looking at this bo-hunk has me mentally dancing to The Village People. Can you hear it? Oh wait, now I'm ACTUALLY dancing!!! I can't help it!! Wheeeee!!
I'm not racist, but I'm gonna get a bucket of fried chicken and some grape soda into my totally not racist, Pro 'Merrica picture.

It's people like this that bring shame to this country. People who think intellectualism (or any form of book learnin') is a punchline, who fetishize the flag and the Constitution but dishonor both by not understanding either, who don't understand or acknowledge the privilege they enjoy, who deny science, who call themselves Christians without a Christ-like bone in their body, and who never question the greatness of a nation where injustice reigns.

Right? I was trying to figure out who the fuck he was referring to. The only transgender in the news lately has been Bruce Jenner & then I remembered the car accident. But as you say, WTF does that have to do with protests in MD, stomping on the flag, assault weapons, KFC & little dicked men puffing out their chests and proclaiming their manliness (because they're so unsure of it)?
I'm a little confused by some of the symbolism. I get the NRA faux flak jacket, but is he wearing a Red Wings hat or is that some freebie from an energy drink? The flag is oriented backwards (it's usually displayed with the star field on the left), & I have no explanation for why the KFC bucket is on fire? Black people food maybe??? I *thought* he was pouring out some Dr. Pepper but not sure if the cap is the correct color. If he's really supposed to be slamming black protesters, shouldn't it be Ripple or Colt .45? At least that big ol' chaw in his mouth is authentic.
Sadly, there are several friends & relatives in my FB newsfeed who will probably be reposting this today, but not for YOUR reasoning, Gryphen. Maybe this fella should head to Texas. I hear Gov. Abbott could use his services.

There are people like this who post comments on my local news station's Facebook page all the time. They are so ridiculous that it has become impossible to figure out which are satirical and which are legitimately nuts.
Someone should tell this idiot that people were arrested during Bush's Iraq War for flying the flag upside down - when they had real justification for doing so.
And I'd like to tell this idiot that I think people who wear flags on their bodies - shoes, boots, scarves, hats, jewelry, tee shirts, jeans, shorts, etc. - are worse than those who are so frustrated that justice has always been unavailable to them that they might take to the streets and protest.
I've never believed that violence solves any problems and I don't think idiots like this guy should get away with waving his weapon and spewing forth hatred. And, by the way, the idiot's a racist if he knows nothing about what has been going on all over the country between police departments and African Americans.
Maybe the idiot in the photo is just too stupid and, in that case, he shouldn't be allowed to touch a firearm of any kind. Beaglemom

I am assuming that this guy has a lot of time on his hands and craves attention. He has all the props and is dressed like your average redneck. Brings back memories of the attitude during the Viet Nam War. Bumper stickers and signs saying "Love it or Leave it" regarding the USA. Those people who stood up against the war were brave souls as were the veterans who were forced to fight in that insane war. Same with Iraq. Obviously, this guy is not a veteran, nor is he knowledgeable of flag etiquette - nor anything for that matter. He needs to return to his double-wide and stop watching FOX news.
This picture is true sadness in every way I can possibly think of, I can not wrap my head around this profound ignorance and hate. I am in agreement about the Palin comments...another true blue real man patriot for Willow, perfect fit. Dumb as dirt loving guns. There is such a bewilderment in how we got here....the root of all evil is money. St Reagan 30 years ago began allowing corporate greed to take over our country. The bedrock of a living wage for non college graduates was manufacturing....strong unions and the CEO's willing to re invest in the employees and the company. That all changed with outsourcing to the 3rd world countries...profits, greed at any cost. GWB gave us 2 wars that needed recruits...a way for so many people with no job offers to have something. They didn't care about the aftermath, the deaths & long term medical costs...the GOP fought against every single bill aimed at better equipment, better pay, healthcare. Where did all the billions go for.....more and more defense spending..more tanks, planes, ships....not our men & women. Then we get rid of abortions, Planned Parenthood, food stamps, training. The Boston bombing really brought home how militarized our police have become...it looked like an invasion of another country. Somehow the election of a black man gave permission for hate to be out there loud and clear, no longer controlled or whispered. There is no way out of here but to vote these hate mongers out of every part of government...starting with each state at every level. We must as a country replace this hopelessness or we all fail.

I don't get the backwards flag unless he's making it a picture about distress. My dad was a vet and he would treat the flag that way. My dad also wouldn't have to have a huge gun.
