According to Nicolle Wallace she would not be surprised to see either Monica Lewinsky or Sarah Palin showing up as hosts for The View.

Nicolle Wallace is currently pimping her new book "Madam President" and during an interview with People Magazine was asked about the prospect of having Lewinsky or Palin assuming hosting duties on The View:

People: Is there anything to the buzz about Monica Lewinsky being considered as a View co-host?

Wallace: I've heard her name and I've talked about her. I watched her TED talk three times. So I would love to have her on. No idea if she's on anyone's radar as a host.

People: What about Palin, who was once pretty open about wanting the job?

Wallace: (Laughs.) I think I'm all the Republican they can handle right now. I've never heard Sarah Palin's name, but I would not be surprised to see her there one morning. This process is sort of like a Republican White House – it's shrouded in secrecy and there are no leaks.

Yeah the day that Nicolle Wallace shows up and sees Sarah Palin seated on the couch is the day she runs screaming from the studio.

Besides as we know Palin does not want to actually work for her money, so the idea of her taking the job is a non-starter.

As for Lewinsky, I could see her wanting a gig like this.

I think either one of these choices would be nothing more than a casting gimmick, but I imagine that once Lewinsky got past all of the questions about Bill, and stained dresses, she might have something to contribute.

And let's face it if this were to take place during the 2016 election cycle, with Hillary running for President, it would certainly attract viewers just waiting to hear what Monica had to say about Hil.

I think for a brief time in her 20s Palin might have been a head turner. But the ugly on the inside has fully manifested itself on the outside. Plus, she's always looked trashy; this woman has no sense of style, which is very common amongst conservative women. Conservative women are either frumpy-Phyllis Schlafly, Michelle Duggar, Virginia Fox, or they are skanky looking, Sarah Palin, Chicks on the Right, various Fox News fembots.

For her role in helping Sarah Palin rise to D-list celebrity status, Nicolle Wallace should be banned from the public for the rest of her life. She helped create the monster and now she's been profiting from it.

We could all write Wallace at "The View" and ask her to disclose what she knows about Palin. I know it's been done to her before, but should again.

And, we could also tell her that we know Sarah Palin will never be a member of "The View"!

Wallace is blowing smoke for her own promotion and that of her book!

The gop would LOVE to have Monica Lewinsky appear daily on TV, reminding everyone of the scandal. She should stay out of the public eye, get a job and get on with her life. It takes TWO , she was no shrinking violet in that affair. He was wrong, but he did not take advantage of a pure little flower. If PayMe gets on, Whoopie will tear her a new one.

As you say, it takes two to tango.

If Bill is allowed to bask in money and prestige and public adoration after his wrongdoing, then so is Monica.

I'm kind of disgusted at the idea of Bill returning to the White House as first horndog, but I know I'm in a minority.

According to all accounts, Monica has never been able to find a job due to her notoriety. If The View wants to hire her and she wants to do it, I say she should go for it.

Explain Carly Fiorina and Ann Coulter? Both closely resemble horses. Have you seen PayMe lately? All the photos she allows to be posted are several years old. Too much Botox and plastic surgery. Jeamine Pirro on Fox is cross eyed, and stupid, like PayMe. Elizabeth Haselbeck is wearing her skirts shorter and her tops lower, since she is "long in the tooth" for Fox. Also, too, he black roots are showing!

Plus, if you get a side shot of Palin's face, she has a hooked nose at the end. That is why she is normally photographed face on. And, as she has aged, she's lost her attractiveness. The evil inside her seeps out through her pores and has transfigured her considerably over the past ten years.

It would be good for the country for the View to have Sarah Palin as a co-host because the more she talks, the less people like her.

As I've said before: Sarah Palin is a one-trick pony. She consumes conservative bumper-sticker slogans and regurgitates them on command with no thought towards cohesiveness or narrative.

Her knowledge of politics and world affairs is as shallow as piss on a plate and every bit as palatable and for her to elaborate on any topic - as she would have to do when questioned by the other ladies - would obviate her ignorance.

She likes to think she's tough - but a day or two with Whoopie would reduce her to the quivering mass she became when little Katie Couric asked her what she reads.

Sarah Palin thought "what do you read" was a 'gotcha' question!

You will no more see Sarah Palin on The View than you will ever see her running for any national office: it will never happen.

Sarah Palin is a joke - and she knows it.

    ----------------------------------------------
This headline is rather misleading. It would be easy to infer that there was an underlying reason for not being surprised.

"Wallace: (Laughs.) I think I'm all the Republican they can handle right now. I've never heard Sarah Palin's name, but I would not be surprised to see her there one morning. This process is sort of like a Republican White House – it's shrouded in secrecy and there are no leaks."

In other words, there is no hint at all that Palin was or is under any consideration at all.

As for no leaks? Every time a spot opens up on The View, the leaks are out there, along with pure speculation. And no leaks from republican White Houses?! Right.

O/T Here's more info about the SarahPAC lawsuit. Some of the details in this article were new to me.

    http://www.njlawjournal.com/id=1202724118813/Palin-Settlement-Over-911-Photo-Stalled?slreturn=20150405094225

Coleman explained that getting Palin to sign the agreement took time because she is “a prominent public figure with whom we deal through Alaska counsel.”

Palin moved on April 10 to enforce the settlement. Coleman said in that filing that confidentiality of the settlement was important because Palin and SarahPAC believe “an important and influential percentage of their donors would prefer [that] defendants resist plaintiff’s claims on the merits, and to incur the costs of doing so, rather than pay what these donors would regard as an exorbitant amount to settle what those donors would consider frivolous or even politically motivated claims.”

Coleman went on to say in the filing that those were not his views, but “in the contemporary, polemical environment of political fundraising, defendants have represented to me that they consider this perception to be one they had to take pains to avoid.”

Anything they don't like is now labeled "frivolous" or "politically motivated."
The fact that copyright law has been around for centuries does not deter them from believing that it doesn't apply to them.
SarahPAC was sloppy and ill-informed in using the photo without getting approval. Publication of a photo or article doesn't mean it's in the public domain. Any first-year law student could have told them that.

"...confidentiality of the settlement was important because Palin and SarahPAC believe “an important and influential percentage of their donors would prefer [that] defendants resist plaintiff’s claims on the merits, and to incur the costs of doing so..."

Of course. In other words, Palin and SarahPAC are going to cave (because they have no choice), but don't want their followers to know. They want to be able to bullshit about being such badasses and mama grizzlies and gun-toting jabberwockies who never take any shit from those liberal wusses.

They can't let their followers know that a) they are chickenshit cowards who wouldn't dare fight this in court because they have no merits on which to fight it, and b) the only thing SarahPAC is going to spend its money on is the personal enrichment of Palin and her hangers on, not legal battles that are going nowhere.

They want to have their cake and eat it also too. They want to be able to tell their drooling cultists that they fought off the evil liberals and by the way, it cost a shit ton of money to do so, and to please send their donations now.

I hope the copyright owners laugh in their faces.

Frivolous amount of the settlement? $10,000 compared to a possible $75,000? Sounds like a bargain any "fiscal conservative" would smile over.

How much you wanna bet she uses this case as an excuse for why so few contributions to SarahPAC?

It's all the fault of that liberal NJ newspaper attacking her. Send money. Send money.

Personally, I'm loving the fact that the paper outed her--LONG after she put them off again and again.

      It's her own fault.

Also, too, I'm loving seeing the manipulations of the Sarah and her attorney. They probably do this stuff to everyone every time.

    HUH?
Anon 6:13 shared an internet post they read that said Sarah Palin is “a prominent public figure"?

Is Sarah Palin a prominent figure or a effing con artist?

How can Sarah Palin justify taking her parents, her children, Todd and miscellaneous relatives and friends across the lower 48 touring all the memorials in Washington DC, Statue of Liberty and all the other sites they visited for the Sarah Palin - Palin / Heath Family - SarahPac Sponsored Summer Vacation?

That includes paying for all attendees :
    Airfare - roundtrip
    Ground transportation
    Rooms
    3 meals a day
    Laundry / dry cleaning service
    Fees at attractions
    Souvenirs

    That includes:
Paying SarahPac employees for logistical support,
Making last minute changes and making arrangements for trip attendees to go home after being tired of being part of Sarah Palin's photo op.
    Paying travel agencies.

Keep in mind airfare is more expensive if you didn't purchase tickets ahead of time. So when Sarah Palin's entourage was tired and bored from this trip they just got up and left which means higher airfare tickets

This wasn't no spur of the moment vacation, they had to have SarahPac employees planning this big event way in advance because Sarah Palin wasn't going to plan it (especially after being mayor and effed up the hockey rink planning ).

Did Trig go on this boondoggle? If yes then most likely a nanny was part of Sarah Palin's entourage.

If Trig didn't go then SarahPac paid someone to attend to Trig's needs, feeding him, bathing him room and board, etc.

Did SarahPac pay for new clothes for the Palin and Heath families? Can't imagine the Wasilla Hillbillies going out on a high profile vacation wearing old clothes.

Not many people can do what Sarah Palin does which is to find new ways to get uninformed ignoramuses to faithfully give their hard earned money to SarahPac.

Only God, Sarah Palin and Tim Crawford knows whose palms has been greased and whose pockets has been filled.

This is O/T (kinda sorta) ...

Remember Rep. Aaron Schock, the closet queen who resigned at the speed of light after being exposed for shady spending -- like decorating his "Downton Abbey" office at taxpayer expense?

Since resigning, he's kept such a low profile that his brow and chin must by now touch -- perhaps a valuable disguise since there are multiple investigations into his potential wrongdoing(s) -- including one that caught my eye:

"A one-time donor has filed a lawsuit that accuses the Illinois Republican of fraud and racketeering. Howard Foster, who contributed $500 to Schock in 2012, has had trouble tracking down Schock to serve him a subpoena."

    http://www.politico.com/story/2015/05/aaron-schock-low-profile-before-grand-jury-117633.html#ixzz3ZHwEqpU8

Helpfully, Howard Foster has posted "Why I am suing Aaron Schock" which includes:

"Why can’t we treat a politician the same way we treat General Motors or a lawyer or the Catholic Church? All of them have been sued for making false statements about their products or abilities or in the case of the Church, inducing donations while harboring pedophile priests."

    (snip)

"Not every politician that breaks a campaign promise should be sued under RICO. But one who misleads donors over a period of years to believe he was a breath of fresh air while acting in precisely the opposite way should not be above anti-fraud laws. "

    http://illinoisreview.typepad.com/illinoisreview/2015/04/foster-why-i-am-suing-aaron-schock.html

YES, and, also too, that goes for any serial liar who keeps pretending SHE's rilly rilly thinkin' -- and with all seriousity, just waitin' for God to say the "Go!" word -- about running for, y'know, the presidancy?

And yet an investigation into her PAC's finances would reveal just how much of the donations have been misused.
