The percentage of our lives, determined by our birth date, that our country has been at war. Perhaps the most depressing thing you will see today.

So according to this my country has been at war just under 45% of my life, and just over 55% of my daughter's.

I think I'm just going to stay in bed today.

I remember being pregnant while watching the first war start, we were glued to our television and I kept wondering what kind of world this child would be living in. Looking at that chart brings it all back as if it were yesterday. I wonder how many uncounted innocents were killed?

But I suppose that also depends on the definition of war. We've been in some military actions lately that aren't officially wars.
