A non-Duggar family molestation victim is preparing to file a civil suit against Josh Duggar, sources tell In Touch magazine exclusively in the new issue on newsstands today.
The shocking development means that Josh and his parents Jim Bob and Michelle could be forced to give depositions and testify about Josh’s molestation scandal. The Duggars likely will have to answer every question as they will not be able to invoke their Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination because the criminal statute of limitations has expired.
You know methinks the Palin family and the Duggars are in some kind of Christian hypocrisy competition and the Duggars just pulled ahead.
The article goes on to mention that Duggar family is STILL under investigation by the Department of Human Services which means that we may learn a whole lot more about sexual abuse and molestation within this supposedly wholesome Christian family.
Do they even make enough popcorn for this kind of thing?

Statue of limitations may be up on criminal but this victim can sue them for exposing her to public humiliation. I think if it's defamation of character, this would fly. Her character is being defamed as a victim and her privacy is going to be violated as soon as her name comes out. And you know it will.

I think they are investigating whether it is still going on and other children are involved even if Josh isn't any more. I mean...the Dad is still there. And there are younger brothers. They may be going by this not being an isolated deviant but a learned behavior, in which case there will be more perpetrators and more victims and it could still be ongoing. Until they investigate, they won't know.

An ongoing court case means news coverage for months. The folks at TLC were hoping this would all die down and they can sneak this show back on the air. I don't see that happening anymore.

"Gothard said that Walker, the mentor, worked closely with the boys in his care and 'helped them grow spiritually'.
He said: 'Josh was put to work helping with the renovations and learning about carpentry and on the side being instructed spiritually.
'Harold Walker personally counseled Joshua. First of all Harold wanted to know Joshua was a believer and Joshua traces his salvation to his time with Harold.

Gothard added that Duggar's parents 'did what was right' by going to the police as well as seeking spiritual help.

'The fact is he did touch his younger sisters, he was a teenager at the time, he touched them in the wrong places which was totally wrong but the sisters weren't even aware of it.'

Gothard confirmed that Josh had carried out the abuse by sneaking in to his sibling's bedrooms late at night while they were sleeping and fondling them over their night clothes.
