President Obama meets the Pope again. Sort of.

Here is more courtesy of Buzzfeed:

There's even some video of the momentous meeting.
It never fails to make me smile to watch our President interacting with the children.

And after a week like this one, I think we could all use a reason to smile.

Happy Halloween!

I love President Obama, and FL Michelle. I am so sad they only have one more year left in office. I will sorely miss the Obama Adm.
Both of them are so down to earth and not snobs at all.

That's funny because the "new pope"doesn't wear the gay hat or the stupid red shoes. Guess this fat baby is "old pope nazi pope benedict"?

Why be so negative, life is too short! You need to look for the good and positive in life.

Go back to C4P where all they talk about is negative. That is their claim to fame, talking about everything that is wrong. I for one want to be uplifted! I still believe that the United States Of America is still shining on despite the doom and gloom the Republican party has caused. We will stand and continue to stand so get behind your Country and get rid of the Sarah Palins who make their living off of fear.

He's always at his best (and seemingly at his happiest) when he's with babies and little kids.

And how could you NOT think that tiny Pope is utterly adorable?

Nasty about that little bundle of love.

    2. Agreed ... love to see O's big ol smile when around children of all ages. And Lil Pope is adorable.

  6. Obama has said flat out that the part of the job he loves most is people passing him their babies. Pictures sure corroborate that. It's been a long time since Malia and Sasha were that little. You can see it already; keeping Grandpa from spoiling their own little ones isn't going to be easy.

I had a job that involved weighing new mothers. During that measurement I held their baby. I always said that was the best part of the job.

The best president in my lifetime. The only one I gave my time and my money to. I love him as much today as I did 8+ years ago.

And, I never thought I'd see a President again with the wit and self-deprecating humor of JFK, but I was wrong.

Same here. He was the first presidential candidate I sent money too. I also volunteered my butt off for him during the 2008 campaign. I wanted to be a part of history.

I loved him then and I love him now. He's accomplished so much. Just think of how much more he could've accomplished without the republican oath to block everything.

He will go down in history as the man who killed Bin Laden. The Republicans can never take that away from him.

He is an amazing President and father. Both he and Michelle are great role models for our youth and really, people of all ages. It will be fun to see them as grandparents. This couple will go on to do remarkable things long after they leave the White House.

Wouldn't you just love to have him as an uncle or grandfather to your children?! He just radiates joy, love and security.

If only we could have him for another couple of rounds in the White House, but I'm sure he's probably ready for some semblance of a normal life, again. So grateful he shared the last eight years with us!

    Thanks, Jesse, for posting this!!

I suspect that both of them will remain very involved in some area of public service. They have devoted too much time and energy into helping others to stop it all now.

9;18 PM- Amen to that! Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, and soon-to-be Barack Obama....name me one Republican president that has done anything to help humanity once they left office.

After the absolute sh*T he caused, Dubya paints. .

What is so utterly amazing to me is that this President is so balanced that he can still be happy when the Republicans have treated him so miserably for so long. He radiates happiness from within. His inner being is not at all molded by what these idiots think of him.

What will be fantastic is he won't have to do the diplomatic balancing act we've seen for these 8 years. They can both be very strong voices for reform.

  20. Our president is a brave man. The last time I lifted a baby over my face I got an eyeful of spit- up. 😀
