Southern Poverty Law Center labels group representing Kim Davis a hate group. Yeah I get that.

Courtesy of Salon:

The Liberty Counsel — the group that’s representing Rowan County, Kentucky Clerk Kim Davis — has been declared a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center, the Associated Press’ Claire Galofaro reports.

According to the SPLC, the group and its leader, Mat Staver, have virulently opposed all LGBTQ rights legislation under the aegis of “religious freedom” — it’s even defended Scott Lively, who “played an instrumental part in the Ugandan parliament’s adoption of a draconian anti-LGBT bill that originally included the death penalty in some instances.”

According to Staver, hate crimes legislation is the equivalent of “‘thought crimes’ laws that violate the right to freedom of speech and of conscience” and “have a chilling effect on people who have moral or religious objections to homosexual behavior.”

The Liberty Counsel has come under fire for its management of Davis, first after Staver claimed that an image of 100,000 people in Peru were gathered to pray for Davis — they were not, a fact for which Staver blamed a “miscommunication” with Peruvian officials — and later for misrepresenting Davis’ meeting with Pope Francis.

There are some who will accuse the SPLC of going on an ideological witch hunt, and in fact the Liberty Council spokesman is already doing just that.

However in my opinion calling them a hate group is a reasonable assertion, even without the rather long laundry list of reasons given by SPLC.

After all, who BUT a hate group could possibly represent Kim Davis?

Wow, I'm really surpised. That photo looks like she is having multiple organisms while giving Mike Huckabee a handjob. Go fer it, Kimmie!

    1. Anonymous3:45 PM

LOL God only knows how many organisms are there if it touched any part of huckadoodle dandy.

    2. Anonymous5:03 PM

That is a narcissistic orgasm. This is a very, very sick woman.

  2. Anonymous2:39 PM

How come the people haven't got rid of this lazy bitch yet? Are those yokels happy to pay her 80 grand to sit on her big ugly duff?

When the grifting Fundamentalist Right get in on the act there is always a high price to pay: who is paying the old whore's sky-high legal bills from those shysters cashing in on her ignorance?

    1. Anonymous5:04 PM

She will be impeached or voted out next election. Her county doesn't want this kind of publicity, even if most of the voters are anti-same-sex marriage. She's a disaster who is getting worse every day.

    2. I'd like to know why the judge is letting her get away with her obstructionist shit. Just wait until the first of those doctored and nullified licenses she forced the deputy clerk to notarize are declared invalid.

  3. Anonymous2:42 PM

    Hey Kim Davis

If the Pope knew who you were he would still have met you. There's nobody he'd refuse to meet.

But he wouldn't like you. Nobody likes a lying sneak.

  4. Anonymous2:55 PM

I wonder when the SPLC will declare the palin klan a hate group.

  5. Anonymous3:06 PM

Was all 4 of her husbands gay? Is this why she hates everyone who is in love? and hides behind a delusion. Poor thing cant read either. How did she get that job anyway?

    1. Anonymous6:18 PM

Her mother had it before she did, and now her son works in the same office.
In Kentucky, incest isn't just in the bedroom.

    2. Anonymous7:23 PM

Even if Kim Davis is removed, her loser son could possibly be chosen to replace her which probably wouldn't accomplish anything other than furthering her "Christian" agenda.

    3. Three husbands.

1, 2, 3, and then 2 again. The current Jethro Jim Bob Clovis Eugene is her second she remarried.

I'm sure the family was planning on her son taking over after Kim retired but I have a feeling the voters may be full of the Davis clan and put Brian Mason in the office. He is the only deputy clerk in the office willing to sign the licenses for any LBGT couples that request one.

  6. Anonymous3:26 PM

Aren't they the SAME fucktards that helped Sarah while she was running 4 VPOTUS and #Troopergate was looming? They went up to Alaska?
She was facing indictment or having to Quit/impeachment over abuse of power? These fucker are from TX!?

  7. Anonymous3:34 PM

From the beginning I thought of Kim Davis and her posse as a hate group. After all, the more I hear about them the more I hate them.

  8. Anonymous3:37 PM

Watch as the formerly cute name "Kim" drops like a rock on the most popular names lists.

  9. Anonymous3:42 PM

This "Hitler" and "The Jews" in nazi Germany comparison's got to stop. It's proof enough for me that there IS no "There" there. How many stories and photos of crucified christians have we seen and heard over the years? None
Feeding to the lions for "sport"? None, But tell the truth about some christians, and the prosecution runs deep.

    1. Anonymous4:08 PM

      ISIS beheads for it.

    2. Anonymous5:30 PM

ISIS also throws people of building for homosexuality.

Iran hangs people for homosexuality, including teenagers.

    3. Anonymous7:11 PM

^^ Why do you allow comments like this, Gryph?

    4. Anonymous7:47 PM

Comments like what 7:11, the truth about Islam?

    5. Anonymous11:46 PM

@3:42 People disrespect the innocents who really did endure the panic of the Nazi regime (most not for long because they died) when they throw the term 'Nazi' around for it's shock value.

It's important to realize that otherwise-loser Hitler came to power via his epiphany (whilst in prison for treason) about the power of propaganda. Ergo "Mein Kampf" ~ *The original title Hitler chose was “Four and a Half Years of Struggle against Lies, Stupidity and Cowardice.” His Nazi publisher, Max Amann, decided this title was too complicated and had it shortened to Mein Kampf (simply "My Struggle", or "My Battle").

Marketing his brand of cruelty, Hitler brought the world to it's knees. President Obama's autobiography could have exactly the same long title as Hitler's manifesto, but i suspect President Obama's would be marketed from a gentler standpoint than propagandizing why one race is superior and all others must be subjugated or stomped out of existence.

I once heard a man collectively refer to a homeowners' board of directors as 'Nazis'. Did that mean he was unhappy they appointed a committee to gas mass quantities of late dues-payers behind closed doors because they were worried the committee ordered to shoot said mass quantities would return to their homes after the meeting as psychotics and barbarians because they had to look at the offenders' faces as they were executed? Did his BOD decide that, in addition to sparing a committee's feelings, enclosed gas was cheaper than open-air bullets?

Let's remind people what they're diluting... maybe 'Borg' would be a better insult without deprecating the for-real horrific genocide systematically conducted by the horrifically for-real Nazis.

    6. Anonymous1:48 AM

ISIS represents Islam like Kim Davis represents Chritianity.

    7. Balzafiar6:02 AM

@5:30PM wrote: "ISIS also throws people of building for homosexuality. Iran hangs people for homosexuality, including teenagers."

That is all true. What is also true is that the leaders and followers are all primitive, ignorant religious zealots of the worst kind. They treat women horribly. The kindest thing one could say about them is that they are mentally deranged.

    8. Anonymous7:26 PM

I don't think generalization is good but if any group of people resemble Nazis, it is those on HOA boards.

  10. Anonymous3:54 PM

'Cause Jesus loves him some haters, right? Do these people read the New Testament? Or anything?

    1. Anonymous4:15 PM

      No they don't.

  11. Anonymous4:08 PM

I noticed the Liberty Counsel's website still has up stories and photos about Davis's "private meet and bless" with the pope.

That tells you all you need to know about that group's:
    1) agenda
    2) integrity
    3) ability to make bold faced lies despite proof to the contrary
    4) desire to "milk" the pope and Catholics (whom the Counsel folks revile)
    5) lack of awareness that there are actually thinking and reading people out there who know they are fat out lying about the papal visit
    6) lack of concern about anything and everything that might possibly deter them from meeting their materialistic goals.

(choose one or more, or any of them all of them, also too)

  12. I can't stand that picture. Glorying in herself, not her alleged Christ.

    1. Anonymous5:44 PM

      Thank you.

  13. Sgt. Preston of the Yukon5:21 PM

Speaking of Kimmy, wasn't she supposed to report back to Judge Bunning two weeks after being sprung from jail to show how she was complying with his order? We know that she hasn't done that, so what's up?

Is she going to get a free pass like Cliven Bundy did?

    1. Anonymous5:43 PM

      Bet you she does!

  14. Anonymous5:40 PM

    Is that her 'O' face?

  15. Anonymous6:25 PM

Of course they are a hate group. Any thinking human knows that what wittle kimmie and her lawyers are doind is based on hate. Declaring it doesn't make it any more so.

  16. Anonymous7:08 PM

Is there a list for "Couldn't tell the truth to save their lives" Groups?

They'd head the list...after the Palins and their ghostwriter minions

  17. Anonymous7:35 PM

    15 minutes long expired.

  18. Has anyone got her address? I swear I'll spring for a new top so she can bin that aqua number.

  19. According to the Bible she never reads, thou shalt not commit adultery is one of the Big Ten. And according to that same Bible, if you divorce and your ex is still alive - it's adultery if you re-marry. Fucking idiot has no idea of the history of "marriage" in that good book she's never read.

Don't feed the trolls!
It just goes directly to their thighs.
