Black pastors scheduled to meet with Donald Trump on Monday make it clear they're NOT with stupid.

Courtesy of The Daily Beast:

The majority of a group of prominent African American ministers scheduled to meet with Donald Trump Monday are making clear that they have made no commitments to endorse the real estate magnate. Their public declarations of non-endorsement come after a press release from the Trump campaign announced a coalition of 100 African American religious leaders will appear with the real estate mogul shortly after the meeting to endorse him.

Bishop Clarence McClendon, a Los Angeles-based minister who was invited to the Monday meeting with clergy, posted to Facebook after the Trump campaign announced the coming endorsements.

“I am not officially endorsing ANY candidate and when I do you will NOT need to hear it from pulpitting courtjesters who suffer from intellectual and spiritual myopia,” he wrote.

Bishop Corletta Vaughn, the Senior Pastor of the Holy Spirit Cathedral of Faith in Detroit, posted a message on Facebook after she said her inbox was “blowing up with inquiries” after her name was included on a list of pastors meeting Trump.

“Let me be clear,” she wrote. “I was invited to attend a gathering of clergy to listen to Mr. Trump on Monday November 30. I respectively (Sic.) declined as I do not support nor will endorse Donald Trump.”

“I was asked 2 meet with Mr Trump too but I refused because until he learns how to respect people you can’t represent me thru my endorsement,” Bishop Paul Morton, a prominent pastor in Atlanta tweeted on Friday.

"Hey I have an idea to help with that whole racism thing, I'll invite a bunch of black pastors to meet with me. What? They're telling everybody they DON'T endorse me? Well what can you expect from a bunch of........?"

You know as much fun as it was to watch the Donald Trump candidacy run roughshod through the Republican party, watching it fall apart is fairly entertaining as well.

If you notice, when interviewed, Trump talks constantly purposefully to keep the interviewer from interjecting. He does it all the time.

The media/interviewers are too polite with him - he needs the exact same type treatment he gives them! He's nothing more than an obese bully! (Kind of like the guy from New Jersey!)

Everyone should forget about being politie to The Donald! He doesn't even know what the word means!

NAIL HIS ASS should be the slogan of all media, journalist and interviewers.

    3. Let me interview him.

I'll scream "DON'T YOU EVER FUCKING SHUT UP?"

Then "YOU JUST KEEP RUNNING OFF AT THE MOUTH TO PREVENT ANYONE ELSE FROM SPEAKING."

And finally "ARE YOU SO AFRAID SOMEONE WILL CHALLENGE YOU ON YOUR LIES AND STUPIDITY?"

And I can scream pretty loud.

Oh, look at Sarah Palin's FB Devotional for today:

Today, try to remember it’s our responsibility to always tell the truth—including calling a sin a sin

Attention Sarah! Donald Trump is lying. He tells so many lies that it is a sin against the ten commandments, who do command us to tell the truth. Sarah, call a sin a sin, and call out Trump for his lies-- or else you are nothing but a hypocrite. We're all calling him out for the terrible things that he says. Do it, practice what you preach-- or stop preaching.

Oh, about that sin stuff. So, it's OK for a girl to preach abstinence while continuing to get pregnant without being married. How many children and grand children do you have, Sarah, who were not conceived under the holy bonds of matrimony. Let me start counting-- or will you call a sin a sin?

    (1991)

But Trump has been called out several times for racial insensitivity by former co-workers and civil rights activists. In 1991, Trump was accused of making racial slurs against black people in a book written by John R. O'Donnell, former president of Trump Plaza Hotel & Casino, called “Trumped!" O'Donnell wrote that Trump once said, in reference to a black accountant at Trump Plaza, “laziness is a trait in blacks.” He also told O’Donnell: “Black guys counting my money! I hate it. The only kind of people I want counting my money are short guys that wear yarmulkes every day."

Total bullshit, 9:57 AM President Obama has been an outstanding POTUS and is going to be very difficult to replace.

Republicans the country over have lost their credibility - Alaska has especially suffered from their governing.

Alaska is now in financial crisis due to the spending habits of the majority Republicans in the Alaska Legislature and Gov. Parnel (thank god he lost his last election to Governor Walker - who is doing an outstanding jobl!!!!)

The Alaska Legislature now wants to increase fees, establish a state income tax and issue a sales tax statewide.

Remember Alaskans! Once they institute either, or both, they will never be taken away!

The country needs to rid themselves of the majority Republicans....2016 voting will be extremely important!

I have no problem with a State income tax or with the Legislature using the permanent fund to balance the State budget. It would be a crime for our government to further cut essential services, such as education, while we pay no income tax and receive an annual dividend. Cap the PFD at $1000 and balance the budget. I personally would rather see our credit rating stay strong and housing values remain solid than get a large PFD each year and pay no income tax while Alaska tanks.

    3. Anonymous1:12 PM

I agree with you to a point, 12 PM It pisses many of us off that the Republicans created this financial mess for our State and hence, Alaskans are going to write the checks for the possible various taxing things they put into law. Once these fees and taxes are in place, they will never be eliminated!

ALL of Alaska's voters need to pay close attention for whom they cast their votes. I suggest they determine which party the candidate belongs to (as they don't print that info much any more) and determine how they cast their votes on various issues (Alaska Legislature or the Anchorage Assembly) if they are running for reelection.

Republicans have been the majority in Alaska for WAY too long and many of them need to be replaced. New blood - younger folks - new ideas - more Democrats and Independents chosen - are sorely needed!

Plus, we could (and, perhaps, should!) have term limits as to their serving time. Some have grown old - with some moving very slowly when they walk!) I watch them -and kind of worry for them - while they are in Session each year - on TV).

  10. It seems as though the more repulsive his behavior, the more fans he has.,

So far, his insufferably obnoxious narcissism has led him to believe he really could be president.

The upside to that same narcissism is that he will possibly drop out before anybody can call him the loser he actually is. I don't believe that Hindenburg-sized ego of his would allow the possibility of legally binding election results proving him to be a loser.

Then again he may just buy up all the voting machine companies.,

Sarah Palin what do you see in Donald Trump? Why are you in love him?

You and your daughters have been publicly ridiculed so we would have thought you would be enraged by Donald Trump's anti-women public comments.

Sarah your Donald tries to verbally hurt women by publicly talking about their faces and if he doesn't like you challenging him with questions then he publicly implies the lady must be on her menstrual cycle. Does this behavior attract Donald to you?

Sarah, Trig is a Special Needs child and we would have thought you would champion anti-inflammatory comments from insensitive people? Does Donald Trump having fun making fun of a disabled man draws you to him?

If you're a man who questions Donald Trump and you have some type of disability then Donald becomes like a blood thirsty shark and the man's disability is like blood in the water which triggers Donald Trump's senses to publicly attack the disabled man.

Sarah Palin is being Secretary of Energy more important to you than doing the right thing by distancing yourself from Donald Ttump and publicly demand that Donald Trump resign his position to be a presidential candidate?

Sarah Palin will you do the right thing?

My question is why is even one black pastor, Pastor Darrell Scott, who organized the meeting, endorsing t-Rump? "“All of these guys are my friends and they know me,” he said. “I let them know I am endorsing, but that doesn’t mean you are endorsing.”

You'd think men would be offended that society expects them to be cheating schmucks who treat girls like shit.

Trump campaign forced to cancel press conference with black pastors after they shred him in the press

A press conference scheduled for Monday, where GOP front runner Donald Trump had expected to announce the support of black clergyman, has been cancelled after the pastors blasted the campaign for announcing they would be endorsing him, reports CNN.

A scheduled private meeting with black pastors was supposed to be followed by a press conference where, according to the campaign: “A coalition of 100 African American Evangelical pastors and religious leaders will endorse the GOP front runner after a private meeting at Trump Tower.”

This did not sit well with prospective attendees, many of whom claim that they had no intention of endorsing Trump, with one calling him “an insult and embarrassment. But he represents the country we have become.”

Bishop Paul S. Morton of the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship tweeted on Friday that he had refused to meet with Trump, saying that the candidate lacks “respect for people.”

“I was asked 2 meet with Mr Trump too but I refused because until he learns how to respect people you can’t represent me thru my endorsement,” Morton wrote.

Faced with a potential disaster on their hands should the attending pastors address the press in front of the candidate, the Trump campaign called off the press conference and stated the meeting would remain private — no press allowed.

“On Monday, Mr. Trump will host an informational meet and greet with many members of the Coalition of African American Ministers,” Trump spokesperson Hope Hicks said on Sunday. “This is not a press event, but a private meeting, after which, a number of attendees are expected to endorse Mr. Trump’s campaign for President.”

In an op-ed published by EBONY magazine on Friday, Christian activists asked pastors who might back Trump to consider the implications of endorsing a candidate who is considered by many to be an unrepentant racist.
