When I was her age I was a married graduate student (no children yet) and while I sometimes asked my mom for advice (do you think a red hat would go with this?) we lived 100 miles apart and she certainly didn't run my life. The exotic Russian Marina was with Barstool when she screwed up in Vegas and Marina was who she ran off with when she left Dakota in the lurch. DeleteMy guess is that when Joey dumped Bristol in February she was depressed and angry. She got revenge by skanking around in Vegas and conceiving a baby thinking "well, if no man will marry me I can at least make another baby who will love me." Getting pregnant by a one-night stand who doesn't live in Alaska was actually convenient for her. This means it's likely that the man (if she even knows/remembers his name) didn't want to father a child and probably would have no interest in being party of this baby's life. So Bristol and her family have this child all to themselves, unlike Tripp, who they have to go to court over for child support. If Bristol really didn't want to get pregnant she could have had Norplant or an IUD - some birth control that didn't require as much maintenance as condoms or birth control pills. Didn't she say on her Instagram or FB account that she "ruined my life last night?" Why is it that it occurred to her within one day that she might have conceived a child since she didn't use birth control? And why wouldn't Marina have brought condoms for Bristol's lover to use - knowing Bristol's history of impulsive sexual behavior? It amazes me how people keep taking Bristol at her word when she implies that an out of wedlock pregnancy wasn't planned. This girl has a pattern of "accidental pregnancies." At some point you have to assume that if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck it is just a damn duck. This is the fourth baby she'll be giving birth to. The logical assumption is that she likes having babies.

ReplyDeleteThe sad thing about Bristol is that due to how she's lived her life, almost any statement about her can call forth a joke. When I read the above comment I had a feeling it was just a few hours before someone would post the following in response:
"Oh, I don't know if that's true. Given how many "bones" have been inside her over the years, I'm sure at least some of them have been mild or meek!"
Here are some more:
I would like to tell Bristol to lie low on issues involving sex/pregnancy/family and link to other who can articulate a conservative position a lot better, but then "lying low" is what got her in trouble in the first place. I'd tell her to refrain from commenting on these topics, but if she can't abstain why should I assume she'd be able to refrain?.........etc....I want to tell her "Bristol, I'm a conservative, but how much further am I supposed to lower the bar for you? It's practically on the floor already......(and I'll let the readers here fill in this last punch line.)
