Conservative media darling, and YouTube phenom, renounces conservatism due to its inherent racism.

Courtesy of CNN Politics:

The 13-year-old Internet phenom who gained national attention criticizing President Barack Obama and briefly was a part of the Ted Cruz campaign is renouncing conservatism, saying he's looking to be a voice unbound by party ideology.

CJ Pearson told CNN on Friday that concerns about the Republican Party's viewpoints on racial and gender disparity as well as youth issues convinced him he could no longer be a mouthpiece for conservatism.

"I was tired of being a champion of a party that turned a blind eye to racial discrimination. Tired of being a champion of any cause that denies equal rights to every American. Tired of being a champion of a party that doesn't care about the issues important to young people," Pearson wrote in an email.

The 13-year-old, African-American YouTube star from Georgia said in an interview that he began considering the change after a conversation with another teen friend, who asked why he doesn't speak out on racial discrimination -- to which he replied he was concerned his followers wouldn't be pleased.

Apparently the shooting death of Laquan McDonald, who was shot sixteen times by a police officer, proved too much for the teen.

And this kid was certainly not shy about sharing his opinions. His YouTube channel is full of angry diatribes against Hillary Clinton, President Obama, Bernie Sanders, you name it, and, if it's liberal, he trashes it.

You might also remember him as the kid who claimed that President Obama blocked him on Twitter.

So I guess the question that needs to be asked is, "If at 13 this kid can see the Republican party for what it is, what's stopping the rest of the country?"

Sadly I think I already know the answer.

There is nothing credible about a 13-year-old as a political commentator. Much too young to have the experience and broad knowledge required to have anything that could be called perspective. To keep things in perspective, CJ was paid by Ted Cruz to be a racist. CJ could be a sociopath, just like Ted.

On April 19, 1995, a terrorist planted a bomb at the front of a federal building in Oklahoma City, blowing up the building and killing 168 people.

On July 17, 1996, a terrorist detonated explosives in Atlanta during the Summer Olympics, killing 1 person and injuring 111.

On June 17, 2015, a terrorist went into an African American church, was welcomed into its prayer group, and proceeded to kill 9 of the congregants.

On November 27, 2015, a terrorist invaded a Planned Parenthood clinic in Colorado Springs, killing 3, injuring 9.

All of theses terrorists were white.

See what I did there? I called acts of terror for what they are, “terror”. Which seems to be something that we as a country cannot do.

Terrorism is what happens overseas. Or, if it happens here, it comes from overseas. Terrorism has a brown hue to it. When the perpetrator is white, it’s a lone nut, a mentally disturbed man. Anything but terrorism.

Barack Obama’s first Secretary of Homeland Security was going to put out a report that the greatest threat of terrorism to the United States came from well-armed, Christian, white men. The led to the howls of the Right, saying that evil, Marxist Kenyan Obama was criminalizing God-fearing Christians. Of course, the history of the past 7 years has shown that Pres. Obama’s security service was correct.

Terrorism is the currency of the weak and disenfranchised. Yes, you read me correctly. Daesh is weak and disenfranchised, suddenly hemmed in by a global coalition headed by the US. Its attack on Paris was nothing but a lashing out at an enemy which will proceed to crush it. Now is the time to pound it into dust.

Likewise, the terrorism and planned terrorism carried out in the US by white Christian men is a crying out of a group which every day loses power and influence. A survey came out this week that white Christians now make up an absolute minority of the US population, and they are drifting right as their power evaporates.

But, the difference is that while we call what Daesh and Al Qaeda do as “terrorism”, we rarely apply the same term to the terrorism plotted and carried out by white American Christians.

I was pretty conservative as a teen too- I'll blame "those lazy, dirty hippies" for having fun while I was busting my butt in college. But I mellowed quickly- I think most people who read widely and reflect on what they red do the same.

Hey 9:45 ever hear of a typo? As someone (I'm 9:21) who actually composed an engineering masters thesis on a manual typewriter I can tell you lots of college educated people still make them.

And don't get me started on spell-check.

Racism is learned behavior. Someone inspired CJ to be a republican mouthpiece to begin with. I'd love to know the story of who is parents are. The internet has changed the way we learn.

There are black folks who make a good living in a cottage industry of stirring racial tensions. It is totally bizarre.

Molly wouldn't have been traveling with Sarah if one of her kids was pregnant, and besides that Payton that they saw in NYC the rest of her kids are younger. Chuck Jr. doesn't have any kids old enough to be having kids and his only girl is very young, so that leaves Heather Bruce. It has to belong to one of her kids but because she keeps such a low profile the pregnancy wasn't mentioned. Another mystery baby!

Colorado Springs: a playground for pro-life, pro-gun evangelical Christians

Colorado Springs, the location of an attack on a Planned Parenthood clinic that left three people dead, is a centre of rightwing Christian culture with a “wild west mentality” when it comes to guns.

  14. So, at 13 he is finally growing up, maturing and developing some critical thinking skills.

    Good for him.

I'd neve experienced his "meme" before but I guess good for him? After watching a few of his youtubes I was embarrassed for him as he's not very well-spoken and is a bit less educated than the upper middle school and early high school kids that I know, even the black ones. Good luck and I'm glad he found his truth.

He hasn't exactly given up conservatism: claims he's fiscally conservative but socially liberal, EXCEPT WHEN IT COMES TO ABORTION, and says the one candidate he could really get behind now is MARCO RUBIO.

I don't think he's really changed that much.
