For those who missed it, here is Adele singing "When We Were Young" on last night's SNL.

Yeah that is NOT a voice that needed any help from Sarah Palin, that's for damn sure.

There were literally reports of people weeping during this performance, not me of course cause I am all manly, but you know.....others.

And since everybody keeps mentioning it, here is the video of Adele showing up in disguise to an Adele impersonator contest.

What I love most of this glorious woman, besides that original style and fabulous voice is her personality. She is what we used to call a "broad". Her wonderful laugh and baudy sense of humor, you can tell this diva is so not comfortable with all this fame. She is a treasure for all of us and it warms my heart to see her so happy being a mom and having a true mate. She reminds me of my other favorite Brit....Tom Hardy has that same down to earth charm with astounding talent.

From a recent USA Today interview with Adele:

"Adele has tried to protect her son from the consequences of having a famous mother. She and the child’s father Simon Konecki brought a privacy case against a UK-based paparazzi agency for publishing photos of her son during family outings."

The fact that Sarah Payme now grandiosely thinks she brought Adele into the public eye makes me downright nauseated.

Thanks for putting this up, Gryph. I had not seen the SNL and probably would have missed this performance. She is glorious.

Imagine, one on the rapid descent getting credit for drawing attention to one on a meteoric rise. I can only envision AIP PALIN latching onto and dragging a rising star down, in a desperate attempt to grab some of the limelight.

Adele may want to be careful of that Palin curse. Comments in Huff Post not very complimentary.

She's an amazing talent. I can't put her music on in the car because my husband's eyeballs begin to sweat profusely, for some odd reason. What I absolutely adore about this woman is she remains true to herself, she's beautiful as she is and exudes confidence. I doubt she'd let a scalpel or needle anywhere near her face. She embraces her uniqueness and has a voice that gets you where you live. . I'm sick of seeing women buy into what advertisers sell as "the perfect female figure".
