In perhaps the least surprising news of the day Bobby Jindal drops out of 2016 presidential race.

Bobby Jindal displaying one of the word's creepiest smiles.
Courtesy of TPM:

Republican presidential candidate and Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal suspended his bid for the presidency Tuesday night.

"It's been a great honor for me to run for President of the United States. To put it in perspective, my parents came to this country 45 years ago. They came here for freedom and opportunity," Jindal said on Fox News. "I don't think in a million years they would have ever imagined that I would be governor or one day I would be running for President of the United States. The reality is, though, they told me as a young child, Americans can do anything. I believed them then, I believe them now. This is not my time."

"I've come to the realization this is not my time," Jindal continued. "So I've come here to announce that I'm suspending my campaign for President of the United States."

I have news for Piyush Jindal. It will NEVER be your time.

I have always found Jindal to be an especially creepy and smarmy political, in a party chock full of creepy and smarmy politicians.

Currently the very brown Governor Jindal is focused on denying the very brown Syrian refugees  from coming to his state,  demonstrating very clearly that racism is more than just skin deep.

So of course the next question is, with Jindal out who is next?

  1. All of the Republican superstar governors are failing spectacularly. Christie, Walker, Jindal: These were supposed to be the next generation of national leaders.

It turns out they are too familiar with how our system works for Republican voters to consider.

I need to run for President saying, "I've never so much as taken a civics class. I have no idea what our federal government does. I am a true outsider!"

That's a good start, but you'll have to add in a healthy dose of racism and classism.

    2. That's what makes the conservative segment of the American electorate swooning over Ben Carson's complete ignorance about everything outside his limited realm of expertise (surgery on the human brain) so amazing.

He's the embodiment of that phrase from the fable, "the emperor has no clothes".

Jindal is much, much darker than most Syrians, actually. He's also a creepy fundamentalist and utterly the creature of certain big oil factions, who have been grooming him for national office for fifteen years now. He couldn't be elected garbage man in this state at the moment.

  3. Gilmore and Pataki really don't stand a chance, can't see either staying in much longer. Santorum should never have started but I doubt he'll be the next to drop out, and same with Huckabee. But those would be my first 4 to go. As for who lasts into the Final Four, we probably won't know until after a primary or two. But I don't think Carson will make it that far. I'm guessing the nominee will be one of these: Trump, Bush, Rubio or ... or ... or ... hmm, having a tough time. Cruz or Christie? Cruz.

What? He won't be around to choose Palin as VP?

    http://www.fitsnews.com/2015/11/17/sarah-palin-would-accept-vp-bid/

Former “Republican” vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin would reprise that role in 2016 if any of the GOP presidential candidates asked her to be their running mate.

“If I were asked, I’d do it,” Palin told Extra’s AJ Calloway.

That's her plan, kiss up to Trump for VP role so she never has to answer any qyestions or debate. I hope he chooses her!

Cruz and Trump are the only ones she's mentioned in the past couple days of interviews. Considering that the two met up this last summer, I've no doubt that she's in the middle of whatever they're concocting.

Neither Cruz nor Trump would choose a loser like Sarah Palin as a running mate.

Well, when Trump drops out and runs as an independent spoiler, he might choose her as a publicity stunt.

What she and her pee pond fans want is the nomination be handed to her so she doesn't have to debate.

Trump and Cruz are a lot of things, but neither of them are suicidal. Picking Sarah for VP, after the McCain Fiasco and all her bullshit since losing would guarantee a loss. Perhaps she may help Jeb! get the show on the road, but even he's smart enough to know Sarah's an albatross and a national joke.

Don't forget how completely *Christian* Piyush is now. Looks like Baby Jesus wouldn't make the cut either.

It might surprise a few folks to know that almost all of what makes up Israel, Jordan, Lebanon & present day Syria was ALL considered SYRIA. When some of my Lebanese relatives emigrated to Virginia in 1900, they were recorded as being Syrians.

Bobby Jindal dropped out of the 2016 presidential race?

That means a door has opened up for Sarah Palin and we all know Sarah Palin likes to run through open doors.

    Unless that was a lie?

Ha! ha! ha! You really think he's dropping out???

You libtards make me laugh! (see first sentence of this comment)

You don't even know EXCELLENT long-term strategery when you see it! Roberto "Bobby" Jindal aka "L'il Bobbi", aka "Short Round", aka "Magma" aka "The Detonator" aka "Jindolar" aka "Fists of Iron" aka "Pyvush Finkel" is playing three dimensional Cribbage while you DUMBOCRATS are playing unidimensional Yahtzee(tm)!!

Jindal never wanted the 2012 nom! He's setting the stage for a landslide victory in 2016 from his unassailable platform as 'most unlikable governor'! (or he could possibly run in 2020, maybe 2024, perhaps 2028, plausibly 2032, probably 2036, definitely 2040, unarguably 2044 and unavoidably 2050...)

That's right, libtards. Just keep believing Jindal's gone. What's next in your little pea-brains? You think Jim Gilmore is quitting??? NEVER!!!

Ha! ha! ha! ha ha ha ha.....

The embodiment of anchor baby: Jindal.

Has anyone come up with an idea for Cruz, foreign-born, of just one American parent; he who's just giving up his duel citizenship in the past few years; and who American-born mother, the key to his legitimacy, seems not come out from behind the shadows? He deeds a full vetting.

Can anyone tell me if Cruz has been a resident CONTINUOUSLY in the US for the past 12+ years? And I mean continuously. Too few people are aware of that being one of the qualifications for running.

But even that aside, I would be willing to bet there are enough people who vehemently dislike the man enough to actually contest his right to run based on his being born in Canada. There actually are those who question he has the right based on the fact that he was actually born outside the US - barring, of course, being born to a military family overseas on duty.

Jebya's strategy since he has the most money to waste, is to be the last man standing. Unfortunately, he'll (my opinion) be the GOP nominee virtually because he'll still have money left. Sad for us.

She's been hinting hinting hinting...last time around, 2012, she'd be pleased to "serve"....maybe at the convention she'd be chosen....nope, they wouldn't let her in, and FOX wouldn't even let her comment that night. Now, for 2016, it's "if the door opens"....meaning, begging, she wants to be ASKED to be VP. No debates, no interviews, no chance to let it slip how uninformed she (still) is, just choose her, she gets through one VP debate with memorized answers...voila...no work at all. That's right, Trump/Cruz/Rubio, choose as VP the one who publicly approved of using the N word, said the 1st Black President "shucks and jives", and wants to baptize Muslims as Christian. Way to alienate all minority groups....one fell swoop.

Let's see how long it takes Dr Strangebrain to realize "Now isn't his time"

  26. And as usual, Colbert nailed it. His Hungry for power Games even had the tree branch across Jindal's face.

Like, who couldn't see this coming. Polling at 0.3%. That's numbers that's 0.003 or a third of one percent. Three people out of every thousand people would vote for Jindal. How many of those are because they want Jindal and how many just because they didn't like the alternatives. (And how many were just plain stupid?) Now, I'm wondering how many people actually live in the state of Louisiana. Is the population of Louisiana 0.3% of the population of the U.S.? No? Then that means he couldn't even carry his own state.

No. I think this is the last we'll see of Jindal. What an embarrassment to the GOP. He may be stupid enough to run in the future but he'll never be the nominee. This entire clown car field will never win a future nomination. They are all too tainted now.
