Your, a little too true to be humorous, cartoon of the day.
That's the truth. I hear people say things like 'Obama has divided this country ...' Um, no. Those that foment and perpetuate hateful statements (think Palin) have divided the country. Those on the right (Fox News) continually attack the president, and Fox News followers take that ball and run with it. Make no mistake; the country is being torn further apart but it isn't President Obama doing the tearing. It's hateful, mean, spiteful, divisive paranoid people on the right that are doing the most damage to this country.
In a way, his election (not he) did divide the country - into the racist vs non-racist, into the fear-driven primitive thinkers vs the rational. into the knuckle draggers vs progressives
O'Malley would be a great pick for VP because he will be a huge threat to republicans in 2024. Republicans in Maryland relentlessly attack him but he's still standing and now running for POTUS.
6:51, it's absolutely crucial for us to stay united and stand by our candidate once chosen. That what Repubs do, believe me they would vote against their own mothers if 'maw' was on the Democratic ticket!
These are people who don't respect true democracy. If they can't have their precise vision of America, then as "January" on c4p likes to say, "burn it down."
