After last week's debate Hillary gets boost in the polls, Sanders loses ground.

Courtesy of CBS News:

Clinton got a major boost from last week's Democratic debate, according to a new CNN/ORC poll. In interviews conducted before the debate, 45 percent of Democrats and Democratic-leaning independents said they would vote for Clinton in the Democratic primary, compared to 37 percent who said they would vote for Sanders. After the debate, however, the percentage who said they would vote for Clinton jumped to 60 and dropped to 27 for Sanders.

Overall, Clinton leads Sanders with 50 percent support to his 34 percent support. That is slightly down from a CNN/ORC poll in late November that showed Clinton with 58 percent and Sanders with 34 percent.

Voters think she is slightly better able to handle economic issues (47 percent for Clinton, 39 percent for Sanders) but far more able to tackle foreign policy (72 percent for Clinton, 15 percent for Sanders) and the fight against the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) (63 percent for Clinton, 18 percent for Sanders). They also give her an edge on handling gun policy issues, with 51 percent choosing Clinton and 27 percent handling Sanders.

I love Bernie, but I have been convinced since the beginning that Hillary would be the nominee.

And the GOP's terrorism scare tactics just make her chances all that much better.

This same time in 2007, Clinton was pulling in the same poll numbers over Obama, and look how that turned out. Not to mention, anything CNN and Time say is paid for generously by the Clinton campaign. Sanders will get this nomination. Keep dreaming, though!

      Put your money up 12:42.
26/1 is not bad odds if you believe what you're saying.
That's right! $500 on Sanders pays $8000 if Bernie wins the election. How could anyone pass that up? Except maybe Nate Silver who knows it's a waste of $500.

By all means vote your conscience in the Democratic primary. That's what it is for. But for the sake of your country (and possibly the world) vote Democratic in the general election, no matter who gets the Democratic nomination. It's the only sane thing to do.

The odds change all the time, I wonder how this will change things?

"Josh Uretsky, the staffer who was fired for the breach, was recommended by people close to the DNC and NGP VAN, the technology firm the party hired to run its voter file.

“It’s not as if we conjured this guy Josh from thin air," said the adviser.

One person who recommended Uretsky to the Sanders campaign the DNC’s National Data Director Andrew Brown, who is closely involved with the party's voter file program, the aide said. "

Sorry this is the only chance our country has for change. with Hillary and her hedge fund daughter and son in law it is same old same old. We are democrats but don't want one of the 1% as President. She waffles and changes. I don't believe she's ahead and that is not what we are seeing and hearing. We are a problem because we want to vote for who we want?? You sound no different then the hard headed republicans. Bernie is drawing more people than Hillary

Hillary's supporters are the filthy rich. She lied about her huge amount of support from "students and women" as compared to her support from Wall Street. Look it up. She sounds just like a Republican when it comes to WAR, and I will vote for her only to keep Trump from winning. Several of these polls are land line polls, and several are done by Clinton supporters. The DNC is promoting her, the software company that allowed the security breaches is run by a guy who worked for the Clintons, and another one is a cousin of DWS. I still think Bernie has more support, but nobody's talking to the right voters.

Bernie is obviously the people's candidate. That is why the corporate media is ignoring him. Hillary is the corporate candidate from the left, they will pick a corporate candidate from the right. Yeah, corporations will always win.

I'm reading that Bernie Sanders' supporters are becoming more of a problem. They're becoming as ridiculous as Sarah Palin's little cult, and they'll bring him down, just watch.

    I'm voting for the Democrat.

Except the poll itself doesn't say what CNN and CBS claim it says. The poll result for the CNN/ORC poll conducted 12/17-12/21 has Clinton +16. The last CNN/ORC poll conducted 11/27-12/21 had Clinton +28, not +24. So in apples-to-apples polls 3 weeks apart, Clinton's lead was actually cut nearly in half. That's not "slightly down", that's a cliff drop. Read the story and you'll find the increase CNN claims was actually in phone interviews conducted after the debate, not in the poll. N newer entirely-post-debate Rasmussen poll doesn't support those CNN interview findings either. It has Hillary at +16 still. Down from pre-debate.

Poll-wise, donor-wise, Sanders is almost exactly where Barack Obama was versus Hillary in Dec 2007. The similarities must be giving the Hillary campaign heart burn. Oh, and for anyone who says any reason Bernie Sanders is "unelectable", just remember that in Dec 2007 the "conventional wisdom" then was that a black man, especially one with the middle name Hussein, is just un-electable.

Thank you for pointing out that the media is spinning the numbers... well, lying outright over the numbers. Again.

Clinton is giving millions and millions of dollars to the media for ad buys. Sanders isn't. Of course, corporate media will twist the truth....

If they don't simply bury it.

They are ignoring Sanders' campaign, they are ignoring his speeches, and they are ignoring the vast crowds of people eager to hear a voice that will speak for the common man and common decency.

As for electability? In one-to-one match-ups, Sanders beats *all* of the Republicans.

      He'll make a great President.

  9. What has Hillary really done? Racking up 100's of hours in travel miles doesn't mean much if there are not real results - tangible diplomacy in the form of agreements between two or more countries fostered by her visits.

    So, what are her accomplishments?

I can't help but think of her as the vapid, out of touch VP that Julia Louis-Dreyfus portrays in VEEP.

Changing your accent for a political rally is pandering that I can't stomach either. I have never the cringe-worthy feelings I felt when I first viewed her doing this.

Can I go OT for a moment?

People are starting to post on Dakota's facebook page that he is dating and wants to marry a gal named Lorraine Moorhouse from England.

There is nobody searchable by the name of Lorraine Moorhouse in the UK except a slightly older women with a two children and a married name.

I then searched through the 1000's of likes on Dakota's page and sure enough found this account, yes she is from the UK:

    https://www.facebook.com/lorraine.moorhouse.31

Not much is available for the public but oddly enough her friends are, Dakota Meyer is not one of her friends but a Dakota M. Lorraine is that opened his account on 12/23/15 (the day the baby was supposedly born) and his likes are all of Dakota Meyers likes:

What is the connection? Is there a connection?

I just contacted one of Lorraine Moorhouse's friends and they told me that the picture of the baby is Lorraine as an infant. Asking now for an up to date picture of Lorraine.

Also the only likes on Dakota M. Lorraine's page is by Lorraine Moorhouse. So odd.

The person that keeps saying on Dakota's facebook that Dakota wants to marry Lorraine goes by the name Daley Justin Diaz (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100010671126505) . Lorraine just added him as a friend on facebook. If you go to Lorraine's recently added friends you can see his name along with Dakota Lorraine.

Facebook is too lax with the fake id's. Their algorithm can uncover a fake like Dakota M. Lorraine in an instant. They never used to tolerate it until they went public and they needed the numbers to claim their ad $'s.
