How some Christians respond when Atheists try to give back to their communities.

Does this qualify as a hate crime?

Because it seems like it should.

The "vocal" christians don't even resemble Christ or Christianity any more. They are off balance, hate filled, frightened bullies that want to take us all down due to their own insecurities.

Shouting them and their hate and fear down is our best recourse. The alternative is having our entire country look like this.

Acts such as these are turning people AWAY from religion in droves. THIS is not the way to set examples of how happy they are being Christian, living "vibrantly" filled with hatred. Any excuse to shoot up anything they think is against their beliefs.

How are they any different from ISIS adherents?

Their serious answer to this: They're not chopping off heads.

      Yet.

My first attempt at a reply disappeared, so I all repeat it.

They probably won't chop off heads unless the numbers become too high or they get lazier. Their method of choice is stoning!

At the very least it is destroying county or state property.

  6. One of the reasons you don't hear much from atheists. They know how hateful and intolerant Christians can be.

    1. They stay in their "closet" -- next you'll be hearing Christians "outing" atheists. Name calling: right up there with Jew, Socialist, Fag...

      We must be strong.

This doesn't surprise me in the least. Xtians - ESPECIALLY Fundies! - are the MOST INTOLERANT group of people I have ever had the displeasure of knowing.

If you ain't one of them, you ain't. Period.

Too bad the vandals and their God didn't adopt a few stretches of hwy in that adopt a hwy program, choosing instead to do the christian thing of spreading hate and ignorance. Oh and no IMer needs to come along and say "they aren't christian" because they are exactly what the average christian is in this country, ignorant and hatefilled and I for one am tired of christians doing criminal activities and walking away. I wonder where they were so radicalized.

Who will call for the closing of churches ... we know what's going on inside them... Who?

      Wow.

The vandals responsible for this are about as "Christian" as Westboro Baptist church.

They are not "average Christians." Nor are the murderers who hijacked airliners and crashed them into the Twin Towers average Muslims.

The average Christian is more like President Obama....

Jesus wants me to deface public property:
    Jesus loves graffiti.
It's not (really) a crime if I uses Jesus' name.
    Amen.

And they'll know we are Christians by our guns, by our guns/They will know we are Christians by our guns.

How odd. Clearly the vandals didn't realize the scribbles could be using Christ's title as an epithet. Christians too cheap to buy their own sign? Give back a little. "Even as ye do it to the least of these..."

    Talibangelical Dominionists.

If they are not caught and prosecuted for this type of thing, they win. Do we really want them to win? Do real mainstream Christians want them to win?

Hooligans and criminals who don't believe in free speech . . . they are stifling religious liberty, that's for sure . . .

Omward christian soldiers.... Gee, what color would Jesus use to vandalize the public's property? I try to avoid the thumpers, especially this time every year. I can't count how many times I've dodged/ignored my son's fiancee's family's pesky constant prodding about "Worshiping" with them until they finally got the hint. We're civil and avoid the topic.

You're obviously too stupid to remember the "Occupy" and WTO protesters, or you condone vandalism when committed by these lawless thugs.

Without God, morality is simply your opinion. What makes your opinion any better than mine?
