Seriously Michelle Obama is like the coolest FLOTUS ever, amirite?

Courtesy of HuffPo:

As if we didn't already think Michelle Obama was the chillest FLOTUS yet, her new rap video will make you love her even more (and want to go to college).

The first lady teamed up with "Saturday Night Live" comedian Jay Pharoah to drop a beat about the benefits of higher education.

"If you wanna fight crime, you should go to college/If you wanna write rhymes fill your head with knowledge/If you wanna stare at grass don't go to college, but for everything else you should go to college," Obama expertly raps alongside Pharoah, from a recording studio that appears to be inside the White House.

I love Michelle Obama!

It is really going to be a shame when she and Barack are no longer our first couple.

Though I have to admit I can certainly imagine "first gentleman" Bill Clinton pulling off something like this as well.

My Foxified sister thinks it's horrible, and hasn't Obama shamed us enough? I ignore her. A lot.

Any time a wingnut takes a shot at FLOTUS, loudly compare her with Sarah Palin and her ignorance, her mental illness, her appearance, her foulmouthed daughters, her slutty daughter, her unemployed brawling family, etc. - because unlike Michelle Obama, Sarah Palin actually DID run for high office.

If she could only get the real baby daddy to step up and say, "yeah, I tapped that. Hit the jackpot, yes I did!"

      There are no takers.

Betty Ford was never 'cool.' She was an alcoholic who finally admitted it after they left office. Jackie was gorgeous and well-mannered, not really cool. Michelle is COOL.

Betty Ford publicly supported the ERA and abortion rights. That makes her cool in my book!

Kennedy is overrated, she was nothing but a celebrity. I know most of the population doesn't agree with me and somehow they think she is a saint of some sort. But if you do respond with something she did except live an excessive lifestyle in the WH. Oh, and BTW being a fashion symbol isn't anything important.

Mrs Kennedy and Mrs Ford may have been "cool", but Mrs Carter and Mrs Obama have done far more for the betterment of the American citizen.

I, too, am a huge fan of our President and First Lady! They are one cool couple, always show their love and respect for each other, are wonderful parents, fun, smart and such a cute couple!

But, also know I'll thoroughly enjoy having two Presidents Clinton in the White House in 2016! They are good people too!

The First Lady is also great random dancing on the iCarly episode she did in support of military families (on the show, Carly's father is in the Air Force).

It would be a tragedy for America to lose this woman from public life when her husband retires as POTUS but I fear she'll want some major time away from the vicious attacks of jealous old facelifted junkie hags like Sarah Palin and the bitter envy of her flying monkeys.

I love how the First Lady is speaking to underprivileged kids the very same week that Antonin Scalia, from his high perch of knowledge, said that college was too tough for some African-Americans and they should go to lesser schools.
    Inspirational!

As someone who works with students in a city school district where the great majority of them are minorities, I was particularly thrilled when President Obama was elected in 2008. It's always a challenge to motivate students who live in poverty, don't have stable/involved parents, have first-hand experience with violent crime on a regular basis, and have no one in their homes who values education. All too often, all they can envision for themselves is a future of welfare, prison or minimum wage jobs.

All of a sudden, there was a President of the United States who looked like them, was raised by a single mother and grandparents, and struggled with many of the same obstacles they do.

Not only has President Obama become a valuable role model because he is black and was born into challenging circumstances, but he has become a shining example of dignity, intelligence, thought, and compassion. Despite the unprecedented obstruction and hate he has faced in his 2 terms, he has never become bitter or resigned to failure.

Add to this admirable political package a First Lady who can be stately and refined one moment and silly and funky the next. As if that wasn't enough, we have two First Daughters who have matured into lovely, responsible, caring young ladies despite the pressure of growing up under the microscope of Washington, D.C.

We are indeed fortunate to have the entire Obama family in the White House.

For going on eight years watching the pee puddle call her everything from jungle monkey to ape face, baboon, etc., I ask again. What exactly has their queen done except cause division and strife while she licks her "pit bull" lips? Fucking coward hasn't done one thing, "godly" as she is.

Mrs. Obama has been derided by so-called Christians since day one of her role as FLOTUS. She's been called horrible, nasty names, had disgusting cartoons made of her, emails that are passed around that are so vile as to not be repeated, etc., etc. And yet this wonderful woman has held her head high, she's never resorted to engage in this filth that is thrown at her or her family. She is an example we should all follow. There's one particular woman from Wasilla who could never ever be one ounce of the distinguished woman that is Michelle Obama.

Has Sarah Palin ever released her college transcripts? Did she ever have to when running for governor? I'm curious. Not that it matters one iota, but since she can't string a coherent sentence together, I just wonder what her grades were. Michelle Obama has a law degree. What does Sarah have?

My aunt told me on the phone how some of our family members (who I am not friends with on fb) went off on this video on fb. Then I saw the video. there is nothing wrong with this! the fact that some people can find problems with this just shows that they're not all there and just don't get it. this is a good thing that our first lady has done! Go Michelle!
