Last night SNL skewered the Republican debates. And it was comedy gold.

I loved how the Chris Christie character is escorted off the stage in the middle of the debate because his poll numbers suddenly dropped.

And Darrell Hammond's Donald Trump is pitch perfect.

Rubio hilarious. The jokes write themselves. What happened to that deep bench we hear so much about? Clowns, all of them!!!!
Why do they even call it a debate? I heard (on the real one) nothing of any policies other than turn over and repeal all the gains of the last 7 years.

Obama Reveals What He Carries In His Pocket Everyday – Conservatives Freak Out (VIDEO)

President Obama carried out his annual YouTube interview on Friday and revealed what he carried around with him each and every day inside his pockets. While normally what’s in a person’s pockets might be self-explanatory (i.e.,. phone, wallet, etc.) the president is no ordinary person. And the items he carries around aren’t ordinary, either. There’s also an in-depth explanation for each one of them.

Here’s Obama in his own words:

He's always shown tremendous respect for other cultures and religions. That's the mark of a truly educated, intelligent, compassionate person.

And then you have the Republicans, who make a bunch of squabbling pre-schoolers look mature by comparison.

Trump Gets Booed Off The Stage In Front Of The Tea Party – Yells Back At Them (VIDEO)

...As soon as these very words left the crevice of Trump’s mouth, the booing immediately commenced. Let’s just say this, Mr. Entertainer didn’t seem to like it very much. He quickly snapped back, saying a lot of the same things over and over very nervously while trying to maintain his composure:

“Excuse me, excuse me. He didn’t report his bank loans. Say whatever you want. He didn’t report his bank loans. He’s got bank loans from Goldman Sachs. He’s got bank loans from Citigroup. And then, and then, he acts like Robin Hood. Say whatever you want but it doesn’t work that way.”

Trump ended his speech shortly after the booing:

WATCH: We Found Donald Trump’s Campaign Theme Song (VIDEO)

Way back in 1998, when Fox’s MadTV was still on the air, an actress/singer named Nicole Sullivan performed a three-minute comedy sketch that so accurately predicts the Donald Trump campaign, we just had to write about it.

For the sketch, Sullivan adopted the character of Darlene McBride, a huge-haired country music singer, who is promoting her upcoming “Take Back America” tour.

As the video opens, Sullivan’s character can be seen strumming her guitar, while belting out the words to her new song, “Take Back America.”

“Take back America to 1955,” she sings. “Take back America to when god was still alive.”

As the music fades into the background, McBride is seen sitting at a mirrored dressing table, dressed in camo, an American flag displayed proudly on the shoulder of her military fatigues.

There seems to be a seismic shifting going on at Fox News as Roger Ailes – the guy who made Fox News Fox News – is withdrawing, uber boss Rupert Murdoch is becoming more active and the internal power struggle over succession heats up.

In a fascinating New York article, Ailes biographer Gabriel Sherman reports, “According to four high-placed Fox sources, Murdoch is upping his presence at Fox while Ailes has become less visible to anchors and producers, signaling a shift that marks a new chapter in the network’s history.”

It would be like marrying Donald Trump whom I would imagine is awful in the sack - he's too ego driven to try and please someone else, would be my guess.

Their money would have zero impact - they are both so physically unattractive. Cannot imagine!

    OT Dear Cousin,
Did you see Bristol's instagram of a party for her BFF? Why did she bring Sailor to the party instead of asking you or one of the other cousins or friends to babysit Sailor. If Sailor is only 3 weeks old, she doesn't belong in a crowd of people catching germs. Babies don't build up their immunity until at least 6 weeks, and that's if the mother is breast feeding and passing along that immunity stuff. Or, does Bristol need to keep showing off Sailor? What's the point? and who was babysitting Tripp or is he in the back of the photo with Bristol?

I am not cousin, I did see party pic. Sailor does not look 3 weeks old. It may be the only way her daddy can see her, when Bristol shows her off at functions. I think it is fine for an older baby to be out in public like that. She is not covered up like when the paps were at the Italian place in Wasilla.

Piper is able to express her maternal side, that is a good experience for her. Remember how she wanted a piglet and it was gone so fast. This will give her more time and she will see not only are babies cute, they take a lot of time, attention and work.

'''Babies don't build up their immunity until at least 6 weeks, and that's if the mother is breast feeding and passing along that immunity stuff.'''
      *********************
You got it wrong. A baby has a built up immunity carried over from the womb until the baby reaches about 2 months of age, this is why the doctors start giving immunizations at 2 months of age, because at 2 months of age, the baby has lost his/her mothers immunity protection.
In other words, babies have their mothers immunity up until abut 2 months of age.

I can't help but wonder if Dakota Meyers isn't getting attached to the little darling in his own way. I did read that he thinks Sailor is his baby.

I think he would be a more caring parent. Pay more attention to detail and what is best for the child.

The Palins should not be raising that little child. Alaskans will support Dakota (in mass, I would suspect!) should Bristol & Sarah try to stop him from having (or seeing)the little one.

All he'd have to do is put out a specific request to Alaskans throughout the state. Remember, the Palins are abhorred as a family to Alaskans.

Plus, Alaskans would love to see proof of the DNA results of Dakota, the baby and Bristol. That would be fun!

According to an upper level campaign insider if bush fails to place in the top three in both Iowa and New Hampshire, his largest donors have let him know they will be moving on to greener pastures. Current Iowa polls show him having no chance of placing in the top three in Iowa which if his large campaign donors stick to their uns will end his campaign. According to ElectLeaders.com polling Jeb comes off as Entitled, Arrogant, Low Energy, Insider, with all of those obtaining over 40% in our poll.

If I asked you what most defines Donald Trump supporters, what would you say? They’re white? They’re poor? They’re uneducated?

    You’d be wrong.

In fact, I’ve found a single statistically significant variable predicts whether a voter supports Trump—and it’s not race, income or education levels: It’s authoritarianism.

That’s right, Trump’s electoral strength—and his staying power—have been buoyed, above all, by Americans with authoritarian inclinations. And because of the prevalence of authoritarians in the American electorate, among Democrats as well as Republicans, it’s very possible that Trump’s fan base will continue to grow.

My finding is the result of a national poll I conducted in the last five days of December under the auspices of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, sampling 1,800 registered voters across the country and the political spectrum. Running a standard statistical analysis, I found that education, income, gender, age, ideology and religiosity had no significant bearing on a Republican voter’s preferred candidate. Only two of the variables I looked at were statistically significant: authoritarianism, followed by fear of terrorism, though the former was far more significant than the latter.

This is Donald Trump’s biggest fiction — and the engine of his insane rage machine

Donald Trump's march to the GOP nomination has been fueled by misplaced white anger. Time to call it what it is

2015 was the year the GOP officially went bananas over “political correctness,” but in 2016 their hysteria could be even bigger—and it’s all a bunch of hooey. It’s been a favorite right-wing myth for a very long time—starting right around the time that international communism was disappearing. (Coincidence? I think not.) But it’s taken the twin outsider candidacies of Donald Trump and Ben Carson to put the complaints center-stage like never before.
