Sarah Palin travels to Oklahoma as a Donald Trump surrogate and tries to blame her son's violence against women on his military service. And of course President Obama.

The bullshit starts at around the 4;20 mark:

“I can talk personally about this, I guess it’s kind of the elephant in the room. Because my own family, going through what we're going through today. With my son, a combat vet, having served in a Stryker Brigade, fighting for you all America in the ward zone. But my son like so many others, they come back a bit different, they come back hardened, they come back wondering if there is that respect for what it is that their fellow soldiers and airmen, and every other member of the military so sacrificially have given to this country. And that starts from the top. It’s a shame that our military personnel even have to wonder, if they have to question, if they’re respected anymore. It starts from the top. The question though that comes from our own president where they have to look at him and wonder, do you know what we go through? Do you know what we’re trying to do to secure America and to secure the freedoms that have been bequeathed us? So when my own son is going through what he goes through coming back, I can certainly relate with other families who kind of feel these ramifications of some PTSD and some of the woundedness that our soldiers do return with, and it makes me realize more than ever, it is now or never, for the sake of America's finest that we have that Commander-in-Chief that will respect them. And honor them.”

So in a nutshell Palin is blaming the fact that her son cold cocked his girlfriend with a closed fist, and put a gun in his mouth threatening to end his life, because President Obama did not say thank you to him for driving officers around when he was stationed overseas?

Alrighty.

So let's once again remind everybody that Track is NOT a combat vet.

Here are his discharge papers, and as you can see he does not have the Combat Infantry Badge which is automatically awarded when a soldier is involved in an exchange of gunfire with the enemy.

So the only way that Track could have suffered PTSD during his deployment is if he is terrified of being away from mommy, or has an unnatural fear of camouflage clothing.

By the way my cell phone has been ringing non-stop today with folks from Wasilla wanting to make that I tell everybody that Track has ALWAYS been a violent, out of control asshole. And that he has been abusing drugs and alcohol for many years before his parents forced him to join the military.

Look I am not saying that at this point he does NOT have PTSD. I'm just saying that if that IS his current diagnosis, that it stems from his years living in the Palin household, and NOT from his very brief time in the military.

WTF is it gonna take to make her supporters see her and her family as unworthy to speak ill of anybody else? especially our great President. She is bat-shit crazy so why can't her "people" see that -- they must be as bat-shit crazy and low-class as she is.

      Great link, Gina!

'No, sadly, the mask of the Sarah Palin so many of us were drawn in by has slipped. Rather than a warrior for conservative principle, we now see the oh-so shallow pool of her conservatism. She could have endorsed literally ANYBODY else running, but she threw her full-throated support behind a man who has said he identifies as a Democrat, has backed single payer healthcare, eminent domain, abortion, and a progressive tax on the wealthy. He has attacked real conservatives, shows a glaring lack of knowledge on most every important issue facing our nation, and covers it all with a gross layer of incivility and arrogance towards any who question him or hold him to task. He is all these things and will be the death of the GOP, or any chance of growing conservatism in this nation, again, if he is not stopped.'

I just hope Jordan has protection. You know Tawd & Track are going to want this shit dropped. And I feel that Jordan, must of seen something and contacted her old BF which is what set Track off.

I have to confess, I'm a bit Palin fatigued after the craziness of the past few days. I do believe a vet could suffer from PTSD without serving in combat, BUT I personally believe Tracl has had anger management issues from an early age and that is what is going on, NOT PTSD.

Given that Tripp often seems out of control, i wonder if he is destined to have many of the same anger issues that Track does.

It is reprehensible for Sarah to try to blame this on our fine President.

What about the drunken brawl at party they crashed in the fall of 2014, and the trouble Trick, eh, I mean Track got into, and had to be spirited into the military to keep him out of jail. And Willows breaking and entering rap??? Are all those President Obama's fault too? That is one crazy@ss nasty bitch, and it looks like we will never get rid of her ass. This last episode of Yukon Wilma's Spawn has left me more concerned than amused. Per the police report Track "lives with his parents." Also living there is a developmentally challenged child. The arresting officer described Track as "drunk, belligerent and evasive" and said there were guns spread over both properties. What does it take to get DSS involved? A gunshot wound? Someone needs to make sure those guns are in gun cases.. and that the in-house boozer does not have a key. This is AK and it's not realistic to think the property owner will remove all the guns, but a modicum of precaution is in order. I hope the victim in this case sees the handwriting on the wall and does the right thing, both for heself and that poor kid.

Don’t blame President Obama for the PTSD that Sarah Palin claims her oldest son is battling.

That was the message Wednesday from the head of a New York City-based veteran’s organization that has fought for years to get Iraq and Afghanistan war vets help with their post traumatic stress disorder.

“It’s not President Obama’s fault that Sarah Palin’s son has PTSD,” said Paul Rieckhoff, who heads Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA). “PTSD is a very serious problem, a complicated mental health injury and I would be extremely reluctant to blame any one person in particular.”

    3. @tami, I am truly sorry for what your son has endured. I have always thought what might finally take my aunt down is her lying about track's time in the military, because a lot of her fans are military families. I really hope the media picks up that she lies about him ever seeing combat. He barely was even IN the army, just enough for a few photo ops basically.
What your son endured sounds horrible. Just awful, I can't even imagine having to watch a little kid die and then be expected to go right on with "work" like nothing happened. It's just awful and so unforgivable that my aunt is trying to get sympathy off the story of people like your son, by pretending her son has the same story. I will join others here in saying FUCK YOU and the private jet you rode in on, dear auntie.

Let's also remind everyone that Track Palin has long standing anger management and self-discipline issues from waaaaay back, the cause looks to be bad parenting.
"In 2006, the year Ms. Palin was elected governor, Steve Lowe snatched up Track Palin for a slot on the developmental AAA team he coaches in Kalamazoo, Mich. Mr. Lowe liked that Mr. Palin, a forward, was extremely focused and aggressive on the ice. If he could manage his temper a little and improve his shooting, it was clear that Mr. Palin could have secured a college scholarship and maybe a chance at the pros, he said.

The temper was a longstanding problem. Hockey is a raw sport, but Mr. Palin pushed the limits and often got kicked out of games in Wasilla and at least once in Michigan. The parents who had watched him grow up on the ice said he was popular with his teammates and generally a pretty good student. But on the ice, he was an animal."

    and uh oh
"Curt Menard, a longtime family friend, said he would often sit next to Ms. Palin’s parents to watch their grandson play. If Mr. Menard arrived after the game started, he said, he would ask if he was too late to catch him.

“Track has a temper so sometimes you’d only see him half the game,” Mr. Menard said. “Get there late and he’d already be out.”

Yep. She laid it on with the repeated statement that he was in a "war zone" and in "combat" and "fighting for you all." She so exaggerated everything. And used the fact that the word "combat" is part of the title of his unit to be able to lie and say he was out there fighting. Ugh.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Anonymous5:20 PM

Sarah's rant follows perfectly how a narcissist maneovers.

By her statement about Track 'fighting for you all America in the war zone', she is essentially throwing GUILT to the one she blames. She wants us or them or the Obama Administration to feel guilty, as we enjoy the freedoms they fight for, therefore we should just let them do whatever they want, and hey, if it's physically injuring a woman, we should sweep it under the rug.

Guilt, shame, are the things that narcissists use as tools to disarm their opponents. They can basically make their children go mentally insane, manipulating their emotions to get what they want.

Sarah Palin used that very trick today, trying to play the victim, mother victim, who suffered so much to see her son go off to war, and now that he is arrested for doing something criminal, she turns it around to make Wasilla police and any law enforcement of feeling guilty because they had the nerve to ARREST a "combat soldier" who almost DIED for their freedoms.

We know her little ploys. I hope Track reads lots of books of Narcissistic Personality Disorder and realizes he's probably been emotionally manipulated by a very horrible mentally disturbed person.

Children of narcissists need to understand that their narcissistic parent is so entrenched in this behavior, that are cannot control their impulses to manipulate. Kids of NPD think their parents do not love them, or that they, the child, are unlovable and that is the furthest thing from the truth. It's just a sad situation that many kids from NPD parents have to face facts and that is they can never truly get the love from that parent, even if the parent wants to show love, the parent is trapped in this eternal obsessive mental disorder. It would take a miracle, and I believe in miracles, to heal a person with NPD. It's up to the victim of the NPD'er to seek loving nurturing relationships elsewhere.

None of this is going to end well. Seriously. Somebody's going to get killed. The Wasilla Banshee's out of control and so is her son.

Glad to hear your son pulled through. I am sure a loving, caring family was a huge factor in his treatment.

One key thing to treating PTSD is that person has to understand the condition is real and is affecting him/her as well as relatives and friends. Without cooperation treatment is not effective. And, sadly, some sufferers reject treatment.

IF (a big fat if) Track Palin does indeed have PTSD as a result of military service, he is entitled to help from the VA. And it's his family's responsibility to encourage him to seek that help.

PTSD caused Sarah to be very close friends with Glenn Rice, Brad Hanson and Curt Menard Jr.

PTSD caused Todd to fall in love with Shailey Tripp and then caused Todd to pimp out his girlfriend to his wife's Secret Service detail.

Track has PTSD that caused him to call Bristol four letter words for dropping Ben and going back to Levi. Caused Jordan's face to hit Track's hand. Caused him to impregnate a pastor's daughter.

PTSD caused Btistol to go ape shit over Levi's dick.

PTSD caused Willow to be involved with breaking and entering and to drop out of high school.

PIG Palin hasn't showed signs of PTSD yet but it's coming, she's a freshman in high school.

She pulled out all of her best 2008 slogans to use against Barack Obama last night, and damn it, he is still president and she can't get rid of that overwhelming feeling of failure. The further into the PTSD Sarah sinks, her voice becomes more shrill, words don't make sense, she doesn't make sense, she uses crazy motions and makes funny faces. She loses self-awareness. For the Nth time, Trump is a massive egomaniac but no dummy. He sees Palin as his ticket to sewing up the evangelical/teabagger vote in Iowa, and then dispatches her to OK, which is the absolute reddest of the red states (something like 80-20 against Obama.) He might not know about the depths of the cray cray, and the extent to which she totally sank McCain in '08, but my guess is that he does, in which case he will need to distance himself from Palin once she's served her purpose. Sarah Palin is trying to dodge more evidence of her horrible parenting by blaming President Obama. The President Of The United States had nothing to do with Track Palin getting drunk, beating up his girlfriend, and threatening to kill himself. Obama didn’t start the wars that Palin supported, and Obama didn’t cause Track Palin to break the law.

Palin’s comments in Tulsa prove that the woman is completely obsessed with President Obama, and is now blaming the President for her own family’s crimes and failures.

Can't imagine any person, or parent, who discusses a son's problems on a national stage, just to assuage their guilt, or to stroke their ego, or to play victim for sympathy, or to politicize their child's serious problems to the world, using the arrest and incident as a way to GET BACK at the man in the White House, because that man in the White House won the election and she didn't.

That is some heavy grudge, and Trump and his campaign workers and advisers, establishment politicians, media, RNC, GOP, Palin/Heath family and friends are ALL to blame for what happens to those kids at the Palin compound. They enabled that horrid woman to the point she is treated like a god and she alone is omnipotent and no one dare cross her. No one stands up to her, everyone cowers to her. They use her but don't realize that her kids are begging anyone to help them; yes, they act out and are full of rage, and that rage could come to a boiling point and the world just cares about what the polls say for Donald Trump, because Sarah boosted it up a few points, but at a great price. That price of a few points up in the polls, in trade for the safety of her family at home. Polls and money and fame are more important to Sarah Palin than anything in the world.

Ah yes, I remember how Sarah presented pregnant unwed teen aged Bristol Palin in 2008-- using Bristol's pregnancy as the reason why she, Sarah Palin, had given birth to Trig, because, you know, Bristol is pregnant now so she couldn't have been pregnant then.

Of course that assumed that Trig was born in the middle of April, but he arrived earlier, giving Bristol time to get pregnant again, either by design or by accident. Putting unwed pregnant teen aged Bristol on the international stage was shameful and embarrassing. Why not leave out of the campaign? DS Trig needed a regular routine and therapy. Bristol didn't need the public humiliation. (Ah, but she was rewarded with undeserved good fortune, riches, condo, tv gigs). Track was sent away to escape punishment for vandalism, and he ended up being Sarah's military prop. Sarah has used all of her kids as her props, discussing their private lives and blaming their misfortunes on others. (Bristol and Willow were always being threatened by unknown attackers who were never reported to the police. They always have stalkers.

Speaking as a combat vet who literally slept in the same barracks as Track Palin, his mother is wrong and her son is not a victim.

Jason Kirell claims he was in basic training with Track. What is "he was either 11b or 11c" ? ?

      Jason Kirell ‏@jaykirell
"I was in the same platoon in basic training as Sarah Palin's son (1 2/58).
Different cycle, but same barracks/drill sergeants."

@buddhafinger @Gus_802 he was either 11b or 11c. Might have been 11c, since that's what our platoon was, for the most part.

Sarah Palin is so HYPOCRITICAL. She is complaining about the lack of respect our vets receive yet she is supporting Trump. It was Trump who said that the only reason John McCain was a war hero was due to him being a prisoner of war. I guess she is OK with THAT kind of respect. It is bad enough that she cut deeply into McCains chances of being president, but she decided to toss a little salt into that wound by choosing to support Trump.

It is not respect when she lies. Almost all she says about Track and military is a lie.

Dakota Meyer didn't enjoy the respect from Sarah Palin when she publicly denounced him on a tabloid saying he was 'saving face'. She didn't care that he put his life on the line for HER freedom to be the worst mother on the planet.

What about Dakota, Sarah? Where is your appreciation and concern and respect for Dakota Meyer?

I seem to recall her pimping some private christian based treatment center for PTSD and did she also allude to Track being a counselor at the same place? Can you dig that out Gryphen?

    Military Times:
Sarah Palin blames veteran son's arrest on PTSD, Obama

Former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin blamed her veteran son’s domestic violence arrest this week on both his post-traumatic stress and what she called President Obama’s lack of “respect and honor” for American service members.

The comments, which came at an Iowa rally for Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, drew condemnation from advocates who accused her of playing to stereotypes of broken returning veterans and politicizing mental health issues.

Sarah is so obsessed to be 'in it to win it' down in Iowa and Oklahoma that she can't care that her son, even if it wasn't serious, put a gun barrel into his mouth, and in any other situation, would be considered a danger to himself. Track needs help and he should never give up on himself. He needs to get off drugs and booze and pills and get far far away from that family. Who can help Track? Is there anyone in Alaska who can reach out to him?

      -----------
No one can help Track until he decides HE needs help.

They can send him to rehab until the cows come home, but it won't do any good until Track recognizes he has a problem and needs help.

The DAMN Kunt has the nerve to say her son's PTSD is the responsible due to Obama? Really why didn't she point a finger at Bush43. As a Iraq War Veteran in Iraq and being there as a civilian contractor for nearly 8 years, she's a blithering idiot. Many of us have gone through trauma including me and we didn't lash out in that way. Palin's out of line saying that bull sh!t.

OT...Trump was just on Don Lemon, CNN, show. Here is some of what Trump said...
Sarah called Trump to offer her services, he did not call her.
    She never asked for anything.
He does not have a post for her, but said she could continue to campaign for him. She could be very helpful.
I think what he is doing is cooling off a bit and letting everyone know she is only campaigning for him and that is all. Will this be enough for her. I doubt he will pay her anything. This won't last. They will tell her what to do. We know Sarah, she doesn't like to be told what to do and isn't a follower. Wait till he gets another person on the stage with more respect. Trump is letting his voters know that she will not be on a ticket with him and not worry.

Everyone is being too polite. Track had a drug problem, and he certainly has a drinking problem. When he is drunk, Track is an angry drunk. At the Palin Brawl in 2014 the cause of Track trying to hit people was an insult. This time around, Jordan talked about an ex-boyfriend, and Track went crazy. It doesn't take much to push him over the brink. These are not the horrors of war, coming back to haunt TRack and remind him of being under constant gunfire and the threat of death. No, Track didn't like the insult or the mention of Jordan's ex-boy friend, and when he is drunk, that's enough to set him off. Track has a serious substance abuse problem. It may or may not be associated with PTSD but it does seem to be touched off by any tidbit of conversation. The solution is not to discuss anything with Track, to avoid setting him off. Oh, and he shouldn't drink and he shouldn't do drugs, but I don't think that he will take that advice.

From her speech yesterday, you look at the amount of people that left her in droves, paraphrasing her, "man, I can't believe how I was hoodwinked all these years." You know it's pretty bad when major players of c4p left, and I don't to need to mention names. We know who they are.

Of course she has to be mentioned in the news, but goes to show you the mind is of Trump and her. She's so damned proud of herself, she won't even go home and take care of her dysfunctional kids. Family values indeed, what a bleeding hypocrite. Sorry, kids, "Mommy's hit the big time," and Bristol is exactly like her!

Jordan better get the hell out like Dakota did. This tribe are monsters with a capital M.

When Palin gets going with the screech, why
does she Segway into a guttural sound from
the back of her throat. Also just what is
her background on Energy during her time
in office in Wasilla . Are the records
sealed. I cannot imagine that she was
    able to accomplish anything worthwhile
at that time. She seldom showed up.
She was home locked in her bedroom eating
    crunch wraps and watching Bridezilla
    and HGTV.

I can only console myself with this....

Perhaps Trump is the only one who can (eventually) bring her down. It will take the biggest most megalomaniac blowhard in the world. I think they are a match, but hope that he will win out in the end. Together they are lethal to each other and we can be assured that ONE of them has to go. Not that that is much consolation with Trump still triumphing.
