I am just going to go on record right now and say that I would much rather get manhandled by one the alien xenomorphs than to allow Ted Cruz's uber creepy lips anywhere near me or any member of my family.A touching moment between Ted Cruz and his daughter. https://t.co/QUQrKL52vd— CAFE (@cafedotcom) February 1, 2016
I'm not saying for sure that he would plant an alien embryo into your body. I'm just saying that anything is possible.
Sadly, and for reasons that I find incomprehensible, Iowan Republicans were not as repelled by Ted Cruz last night as his daughter appears to be.
In past elections, Iowans also voted for Huckabee and Santorum. Just saying. Cruz is still creepy to the majority of people.
ReplyDeleteCruz is not a natural born I'm waiting for all the "birfers" to come out, like they did for POTUS who WAS born in USA-Hawaii and his record in the Senate about his Goverment shutdowns, why isn't the MSM talking about THAT?
DeleteLOL of the day, Last caller on Stephanie Millers show called Track Palin a "Violent drunken asshole" and that maybe it wasn't PTSD at all!
And also, too, all the Berms whining about "hillary cheated she had 6 coin tosses" OMFG, will it ever stop?
Bernie did pretty darn good last night, be fucking happy about that! Sick of whiners.
Was Cruz's mother a Canadian citizen at the time of his birth? That would negate the natural born angle.
Delete1) Cruz's mother was automatically naturalized one year after Rafael.
Delete2) Canada had NO dual-citizenships at that time.
3) She was on the Canadian voter rolls, restricted to citizens.
Therefore she and her son were Canadian citizens.
The ONLY way Cruz could possibly be considered an American son of an American mother is if she had sworn papers filed at the US consulate for a baby born out-of-the-country. If that document exists and was timely and properly filed, all Cruz would ever have had to do was produce it. He has not.
Since she certainly didn't think her baby would possibly need to be a natural-born American citizen, and since Canada didn't allow for dual-citizenships, Teddyboy would have gone to school, etc., as a Canadian citizen and life would be simpler for the family. The issue probably never came up, especially not in a patriarchal household where the man makes all the decisions.
Bachman, also too. Maybe they're all huffin' ethanol.
ReplyDeleteHe makes my skin crawl.
ReplyDeleteMe too. There is something creepy about him.
DeleteIs this the daughter he had in his political ad throwing shade at Hillary? Maybe her classmates showed her the picture of them being trained monkeys?
ReplyDeletePoor little girl. They must have some history. He proudly revealed that if his girls disobey, they get spanked. She, obviously was not in the mood to be photographed... or maybe it was his BREATH!!!
ReplyDeleteYes he said he spanks them or lying while he lies constantly.
DeleteAwww, this video is missing my favorite part at the beginning. The way she tries to flick him away with her fingers is hilarious (but just before the content shown here). hahahaha !!
ReplyDeletecorrection: whoops, there it is. Even better in this edit. HAHAHAHAHa !!
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of daughters, I was watching MSNBC and did anyone else notice that, at presumably half-way along, Chelsea Clinton Mezvinsky looked more pregnant with her second than Palin did with her alleged fifth on 3/26/08.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of creepy fathers and their daughters...
ReplyDeletehttp://www.addictinginfo.org/2016/02/02/this-photo-donald-trump-his-daughter-will-creep-you-out-tweet/
Consider rather that Iowans were simply MORE repelled by Trump.
ReplyDeleteOh heck, Ted Cruz took the Iowa GOP caucuses because he appealed to fundamentalist Christians. Imagine wanting to caucus for Trump or Kasich and seeing your neighbor beckoning you from the Cruz clutch. Arm-twisting with a Bible can be effective. If it were a Koran, we would call it bullying or worse. Ted gets the same Iowa cornstalk crown as Santorum and Huckabee did.
ReplyDeleteEACH Wanting to FLOG us for our SINS @ every chance, and enjoying it..
DeleteGod I love that bit. It should play as a continuous loop around Times Square for days and days.
ReplyDeleteI think this needs to become a political ad. That side look after Cruz struggles to make his daughter show him some affection is so sinister as to be truly frightening.
ReplyDeleteArchie Butt
The "ows" make me wonder if he did an unseen pinch or twist on her, under her coat, perhaps as a "knock it off" or "you're gotten get it, later" message? That child does not seem to like her father.
ReplyDeleteAs a child, if I was misbehaving in any way in public, my mother would very discreetly dig her long finger nails into the soft part of my bicep. No one ever saw her do this. I was occasionally told not to make a sound and quit embarrassing her. If I didn't listen, the fingernails went in deeper. I have PTSD watching this video of Cruze and his daughter.
DeleteMine would squeeze the crap out of my arm and if I drew attention to it, she would very innocently apologize and when we were alone, there was hell to pay. I think this is what we saw in the video.
DeleteYep, I agree
DeleteFlame away & call me a troll, but her exclamations of "ow" just sounded like she was being a little drama princess. I despise Ted Cruz but I'm not going to give any if his family members a pass just because they're children.
DeleteMy father was a staff sergeant 82nd Airborne WWII. He merely had to say my name in "the voice" to compel good behavior in public. But, he never, ever would have forced a hug or a kiss. There is a big difference between quiet, pleasant behavior in company and compelling a display of affection.
DeleteIt is perfectly normal for a young child to resist physical contact even with a parent occasionally. Independence is FUN. When the young children in our family are cranky and rejecting goodbye hugs, we say "ok, air hug, air hug, I love you". No unpleasantness and, often, the child responds with a grin.
Parents love their kids in all kinds of ways.

As nasty as these Repub candidates are, and Cruz, I can't fault him with that camera catch with his daughter. Some kids don't like the phony-ness of media and cameras and yes-men, they see right through it. She probably did not want to participate in the act of phony business. And kids these days feel they have a reputation to keep with their friends.
ReplyDeletePoor kids, whose parents use them during campaigns.
I watched the longer version of this clip a few more times yesterday and started to look only at the expression on the daughter's face during this grope, and it was pretty heartbreaking, because she clearly had few options beyond what she did to keep him away. And she knew it, it looked like (to me). It was all on her face. And we know that the consequences at home for her will not be pretty.
ReplyDeleteAnd then to see Cruz win -- frightening.
Combining this plus what his college roomie said about him makes me sure there is a hideous other shoe to drop, which might drop if he becomes the candidate.
I would start wondering if Bernie could go for a negative ad if it was aimed at exposing this side of Cruz? But then I realize that this kind of behavior ("keeping them gals in line." "makin' them wimmen-folk show respect") is prob appealing to his supporters.
“Heidi has repeatedly been complaining about how disgusting the voters and whole scene in Iowa is,” our source told Gawker. “She says everyone smokes cigarettes, eats horribly, and wants to hug and touch her all the time. She said that she has to go back to the hotel and take a shower multiple times a day due to this environment.”
ReplyDeleteAccording to Heidi’s Twitter, meanwhile, meeting all those Iowans has been “so wonderful.”

Looks like Daddy doesn't respond to "no" very well does he? There you have what a government headed by Cruz would be like.
ReplyDeleteVote accordingly.
I could not help to notice the cruz wife during his thrilling end last night. Her face was twisted, jaw quenched. Then rump and his group, eyes shifting and the look of fear in their eyes cause daddy aint happy. came in number 2. oopsie. And then the threats from rump. "knock the protesters out" If they throw protest and tomatoes? knock them out and I will pay the legal fees? Really? I was impressed and it was so presidential and SNL material . And then our girl states that she was ambushed by nbc. kinda like the bundys ..Hmmm both sound like parrots and they are part of the bundy gang of aipee'ers in Or and BEYOND.... Pray for this nation American's The school buses are empty and empty headed thugs driving the clown bus. What a fleet of moronies.(:>
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Ted Cruz on winning the critically important primary state that also gave us President Santorum and President Huckabee.

It won't solve the long-term lead problem, but it will help diminish the crud. Good for the plumbers!
DeleteI love how Sarah slunk away after Cruz clobbered Trump and the news is void of her today. She's a loser and she backed a loser.

There is something very disturbing about this interaction. Kids don't lie about their feelings. Something is wrong.
ReplyDeleteIam repulsed but not surprised by the way the Repigs voted in Iowa. The repiglican party in Iowa is 62% evangelical. They chose Santoruum and Huckabee and Bachmann.Look how that worked out.

I cannot imagine much worse than having parents who believe in "spanking" their children living in the White House. Too creepy for words. Imagine what that child went through when Papa got home, or even Mama.
ReplyDeleteBeaglemom
Look at his creepy vile eyes after his daughter jerks away from him. I would not be surprised if he was not a "touchy feely" father, and not in a good way, like mine was. You don't want to be touched by them at all. He is one sick, slimy creep. The people in Iowa must be nuts. If he became president, I would move to Canada. It makes my skin crawl to see this video. Poor girl.
ReplyDeleteyup, skin crawl.

I fear that the evil bastard will not spare the rod on his child.
ReplyDeleteAnyone seen the video yet of the little Cruz girl storming off the stage while her mother was speaking?
ReplyDeleteI have heard about it, but haven't seen it yet.
I can commiserate with that poor child, not her fault papa and heidi kept warm while listening to "The Sound of Muzak" in their Toronto hotel elevator.
ReplyDeleteThe Jesus Campers must be grown up now, and voting for religious nuts like themselves. Ted Cruz is a creepy, unctuous slimeball, whose wife and kids are equally effed up, in their own ways. Let's all pause for a second and imagine the shit a Democratic candidate would get if their spouse was found along the road, head in hands. I have yet to see a pic of the kids where they look happy. This guy cannot be the nominee-everybody hates him, and he associates himself with actual insane preachers. Enjoy it, Mr. Yuck. It won't last.
