This was the exchange after Chris Wallace listed off all of the dirty tricks perpetrated by the Cruz campaign:
“Every accusation you raised there is incorrect,” Cruz replied. “I appreciate your reading the Donald Trump attack file on that.”
WALLACE: “Oh, come on, sir. Wait a minute, sir. You personally apologized to Ben Carson on a debate stage.”
CRUZ: “Chris, don’t interrupt me.”
WALLACE: “You fired your communications director.”
CRUZ: “Chris, don’t interrupt me.”
WALLACE: “Don’t say this in an oppo file on our part, sir.”
CRUZ: “Chris, please don’t interrupt me.”
WALLACE: “Please don’t accuse me of something I didn’t do.”
CRUZ: “Let me know when I’m allowed to answer.”
WALLACE: “Well, don’t accuse me of doing something I didn’t do. Two of those things, you apologized for one and you fired your communications director. Don’t say this is the oppo file.”
I am always amazed by the people who think that Ted Cruz has a chance in hell of winning the general election.
I mean if he cannot even win over Fox News, which helped to create him, than what chance does have in convincing the voters that he is not a slippery pile of human excrement?
Which of course those of us NOT watching Fox News already know that he is.
I bet that's exactly how he speaks to his wife and children.
ReplyDeleteOh not his girls. If they interrupt, he gets out the belt.
DeleteI seriously doubt his wife or girls even dare to ever point out any contradictions he says or dare oppose him in any way in a conversation.
DeleteNo one likes Ted Cruz. He oozes slime. And yet, in his head HE thinks he is cool. Ugh ;p
ReplyDeleteO/T but gotta post this because it is SO good. From the WaPo today, in an article about Christie endorsing Trump, the very first sentence is: "Chris Christie is getting savaged for becoming the first major national Republican figure to endorse Donald Trump."
ReplyDeleteGranny Grifter says, "What am I, chopped salmon?" Trump (and everyone else) says, "Yep."

More like beaten halibut, I'd say.
DeleteI have not paid attention but who is Fox making King this election? Are they for Rubio?
ReplyDeleteWell, it was JEB! It was Christie. It was Cruz. It was Trump. They are as confused as the rest of the GOP. Poor dears.
DeleteTed and his daddy think he's god's gift to America.
ReplyDeleteThe man is a practiced sociopathic liar. His daddy has raised him to believe one day he will be a king in a theocratic dystopia. Those who vote for him are willfully ignorant of his true nature but don't display the degree of racism that permeates the Trump voter base.
ReplyDeleteFive reasons Ted Cruz is even more dangerous for the USA than DrumpF
ReplyDeleteExcerpts from Robert Reich:
He’s more fanatical. Trump is a bully and bigot but doesn’t hew to any sharp ideological line. Cruz is a fierce ideologue: He denies the existence of man-made climate change, rejects same-sex marriage, wants to abolish the Internal Revenue Service, believes the 2nd amendment guarantees everyone a right to guns, doesn’t believe in a constitutional divide between church and state, favors the death penalty, opposes international agreements, embraces a confrontational foreign policy, rejects immigration reform, demands the repeal of “every blessed word of Obamacare,” and takes a strict “originalist” view of the meaning of the Constitution
Cruz really does detest the federal government, and has spent much of his life embracing radical right economic and political views.
Cruz’s legal career entailed a sustained use of the courts to achieve conservative ends, and he plots his moves carefully.
Cruz is a loner who’s willing to destroy institutions. Trump has spent his career using the federal government and making friends with big shots. Not Cruz. Most of his Republican colleagues in the Senate detest him. And Cruz is eager to destroy: He has repeatedly crossed to the other side of the Capitol and led House Republicans toward fiscal cliffs. In the Fall of 2013, Cruz’s strident opposition to Obamacare – including a 21-hour talking marathon — led in a significant way to the shutdown of the federal government.

Reich does not really go into the most sinister aspect of Cruz, in that Raphael believes he is on a mission from god to steer America toward theocracy, and the goals of Christian Dominionism.
Cruz is a true fanatic who believes in the "last days" doctrines, and based on that, I have no doubt he would start a war with Iran, that could lead to global conflict.
Nice to see Wallace finally grow a pair. If I was Cruz's daughter, I'd turn my head too if those lips were coming at me. Yuck.
ReplyDeleteI loved her little finger flick-off to detestable daddy. I use it now whenever I see any of the rethug candidates on tv. Doesn't do a damn thing to them but sure makes me feel good!
DeleteFox also gave Palin a pulpit.
ReplyDeleteRest my case.
Hey! Rafael.
ReplyDeleteDon't interrupt me,unless it's true?
Are you stupid? Yes
Are you a religious zealot? Yes
Are you a ratface? Yes
Are you a habitual liar? Yes
Do your children and wife hate and detest you? Yes
Are you crazy like your father? Yes
Are you willing to stfu!!!! No response.
Trump is just as slimy as Cruz! Gadfree, but both of them make me want to regurgitate! Trump even more than Cruz when I really think about it!
ReplyDeleteNow, I want Wallace to get just as tough with Trump and then I might call him a winner as to his interviewing skills!
ReplyDeleteI was reminded that Cruz "won" his Senate seat with just 2.4% of the Texas population voting for him, following a runoff with Dewhurst. I'm quite sure those 2.4% folks are all Dominionists, and if they're the only ones who come out and vote in the primary, Cruz will win. Somehow, I doubt very much that they are the only ones who will vote, and I suspect Trump will take Texas. that should pretty well finish off any hopes Cruz has of winning the nomination. Besides, there's enough garbage on him that even if he did win, the Dems would have a field day bringing out all the theocracy stuff he believes in.
ReplyDeleteDon't forget, 11:43 AM, that Trump has as much, or even more crap, in his history than does Cruz.
DeleteI'm just dying for the media to get on Trump's ass, which is richly deserved! The media and other politicians need to make him squirm as they are currently doing to Cruz and Rubio! None of the three are ready or equipped to be our next POTUS!
Republicans are in a world of hurt!
This exchange might have some meaning if the same technique was applied to Trump.
ReplyDeleteCNN Guest Destroys Katrina Pierson: Maybe She’s ‘One of the Blacks’ Trump Pays to Clean Up His Mess
ReplyDelete...“Maybe Katrina Pierson is one of ‘the blacks’ he likes since he pays her to clean up his mess everyday on television.”
SHOTS FIRED! Setmayer pushed Pierson even harder, eventually forcing the Trump spokesperson to meekly settle with, “He’s winning, and that’s all that matters!”

Tapper Addresses Christie Bailing on CNN Interview: ‘I Was Just Stunned’
ReplyDelete...Maybe Christie didn’t show up because he was afraid Tapper would roast him on all the times he he insulted Trump. As it stands, no one knows why the governor of New Jersey didn’t show up for his screen time, but it’s true that the KKK has been getting a lot of coverage.
Even Tapper has no idea what happened. In an exchange on Twitter, he responded to a fan who asked why Christie wasn’t listed in a tweet about upcoming guests, calling the former presidential candidate’s decision to back out “very disappointing.” He then told the fan that it had been Christie’s idea not to show up, not the Trump campaign’s.
Then came this exchange:

Rumor has it, Wanda's All You Can Eat Buffet and Gun Shop had a special, and the Christie Family spent Sunday tilting trays and shoveling food by the handsfull into Governor's mouth. Wanda filed for Bankruptcy and fumigation /s
DeleteAll that hot air from Cruz and he STILL DID NOT answer the question about HIS dirty tricks.
ReplyDeleteFAUX NOISE should have extended the segment to force him to answer.
What a whiny little bitch.
ReplyDeleteHe is a whiny little bitch! I like it!
DeleteThat "man" give me the heebie geebies. I can't believe I'm saying this, but Fox News wasn't asking any hardball questions, these are questions that come up in every campaign, the fact that Cruz wasn't prepared didn't give him the right to talk over the reporter to change the subject. He's a guest on the show and should act accordingly.
ReplyDeleteHe's a slimball who's run an underhanded campaign from day one. He's a very small fish in a big pond and his foundation is built on lies.
Buh bye...
