Mitt Romney suggest that there might be a "bombshell" in Donald Trump's taxes. Irony alert kids.

Hey, remember me?
Courtesy of CNBC:

Mitt Romney on Wednesday raised questions about Donald Trump's taxes that strikingly resembled attacks used against the former GOP presidential nominee four years ago.

"Frankly, I think we have a good reason to believe that there's a bombshell in Donald Trump's taxes," Romney said in an interview on Fox News.

"I think there's something there. Either he's not anywhere near as wealthy as he says he is or he hasn't been paying the kind of taxes we would expect him to pay, or perhaps he hasn't been giving money to the vets or to the disabled like he's been telling us he's doing," he added.

As many of you are probably aware in 2012 Harry Reid suggested that Romney was not paying ANY taxes, so this coming from Mittens is tinged with no small amount of irony.

And as you might imagine Trump is not taking it lying down.

Well he might be lying down, but his fingers are tweeting like crazy.

I actually have little doubt that there are things in "the Donald's" tax records which he would not like to see the light of day, and they probably never will.

However I am also fairly convinced that if they did it would still have no real impact on his seemingly bullet proof campaign.

So the GOP is so desperate they roll out "my taxes are none of your business" Romney to question Donald Trump on his taxes?

This coming on the heels of them having Jeb! trot out his brother W to campaign with him proves to me that their spin machine is just plain broken.

Their tax returns are as dishonest as they are.

Remember that Romney wouldn't show his tax returns because he'd been discovered hiding millions from the IRS in Swiss bank accounts.

And this filth deems itself fit for POTUS. Amazing.

I'm a bit nostalgic for the days when a GOP politician could hide cash off-shore and then claim he needed tax cuts in order to "be a job creator."

I think it might matter to veterans. He has said he has supported veterans' groups for years.... BTW, what happened to all that money he purportedly raised for veterans? did it go into his black hole (so to speak).

Just as it pertains to possible 1st ladies, I'd have to go with Melania. She's not a religious freak and has one one child, unlike Ann Romney, who has polluted the Earth with five more Mormons.

Did I just hear Cruz refer to Sista Sayrah as a "Dancing Bear?!" Oh my goodness, silly season has just kicked into OVERDRIVE!!

O/T too, but Cruz is holding up a vote on sending federal dollars to FLINT to help with lead problems. Because, he says, "It's a state and local issue." Hey, grubber, you were the fist to whine about getting federal dollars for Texas after the floods last year. And that is OUR money-Flint pays into the federal pot, unlike Texas. I guess you don't want any Michigan support at all, huh?

Yeah right, "It's a state and local issue" . . . affecting primarily minority communities. I truly hope the Flint Governor will be ultimately held accountable for this unthinkable health hazard and malfeasance.

Well, SnowBird, Snyder is a Republican so he will never be held accountable. Besides, once his term is over he'll be out of the state as fast as he can run. There is nothing that ties him to Michigan.

Cruz: "Our prayers are with the mostly dark-skinned lower income victims of the entirely avoidable Flint water supply debacle. Just our prayers. That's all. No money, no intervention, no investigation, no accountability. Just prayer. They should be grateful for our prayers. Thank you, Jeebus."

Here's my theory on Trump and Sanders:
Many people are using the primary as a way to register a protest vote. People are mad about things on both sides.

In November, Trump will not b the nominee for the GOP because their protest will have been heard. If they go into a second ballot at the GOP convention (and they will, because Trump will not have enough votes to secure the nomination unless he takes Ohio and Texas), his "support" is going t fall away, because no one in the GOP likes him.

  10. I would say that Romney is probably correct. There should be no reason for Trump to not be able to immediately produce his tax records since he has an accountant does all of his tax work.

    IS THIS WHY?

IS THIS WHY SARAH PALIN strutted like a cross eyed peacock in the streets of New York City wearing her humongous fake ass titties?

Sarah Palin wasn't wearing her ridiculous big fake titties to impress Shailey Tripp's man Todd or even Gryphen from Alaska. Is it because Sarah Palin did not want to appear flat chested to the man she so desperately wants to follow around in the lower 48?

    Buzzfeed -
The most popular topic of conversation during these appearances, as is typical of Stern's program, was sex. In particular, Trump frequently discussed women he had sex with, wanted to have sex with, or wouldn't have sex with if given the opportunity. He also rated women on a 10-point scale.

"A person who is very flat-chested is very hard to be a 10," he told Stern in one typical exchange

His obsession with beautiful women is very telling, what it tells me is that he, must "bag" beautiful women in order to "verify" his manhood, which, given his "tiny hand" condition, must be somewhat lacking.

He's had to dangle the carrot of citizenship in front of two of his wives, Ivana and Melania, and Marla Maples, well, she was one of those "10's" he had an affair with and he would not have married her if she didn't birth his child. She was a "one night stand went bad".

I'm sure that "The Donald" has gotten plenty of pussy in his lifetime, and I'm more than certain that hardly any of them came back for seconds, except for those that married him, and those women did so in their own best interest, using him, rather than him using them.

I'm sure that the other 99% of his "conquests" were also too using him for something...gold diggers are a dime a dozen.

I have a hunch that both 3:33 and 4:17 have the misogynistic attitudes as Trump embraces. Using the terms "titties" and "pussy" are just as tacky and inappropriate as almost anything Trump has said.

I cringe when one of these cretins say McCain and Romney lost elections to President Obama that should have been won.
As a Black person I take strong offense to this, as it obvious they mean because McCain and Romney are white they should not have lost to a Black man.
    I abhor racists.

I think this election is going to be a nasty one. The worst we have seen since Andrew Jackson was elected in 1828.

Whoever is elected is going to have to know how to win ugly, as the saying goes.

And I am thinking Hillary is the one who can not only withstand the dirt and the mud, she is more than capable of slinging it herself.

Hang on everyone. This is going to be quite the ride.

    1. I think either Hillary or Bernie would do just fine against Trump.

I'd like to see Bernie as the nominee take the high road as he's always done, releasing Hillary as the V.P. to tear Donald a new on at every opportunity. Because that's what V.P.s do. Hillary would be excellent in that capacity.

And Bernie could handle Donald just fine in a debate. Show the difference between presidential and a bloviating bullying clown. Hillary could handle Donald with one lip tied behind her back. She could debate circles around him. They both could.

But Donald's style is to interrupt and then just keep talking. Unless there is a moderator able to muzzle him it won't matter how the debates turn out.

Just as Palin would just talk about whatever she wanted, Donald will just talk whenever he wants.

Yeah, it's going to be the ugliest campaign in years.

UNLESS, that proposed brokered convention unseats Donald. But then, which of the other clowns would take his place on the roof of the car?

Do we get to see the last three years or the last five years?

You know there are nerdy bloggers that just love to analyze this stuff line but line and crunch the numbers. If there is anything to be found, they'll find it.

I'll bet Donald never releases his taxes. After all, it's not legally required now, is it?
