So if you ever wondered how Donald Trump would deal with defeat, wonder no more. Not well, not well at all.

Holy crap!

Hey look, I think that Cruz's tactics were sleazy and underhanded as well.

But so are Donald Trump's.

Let's face it from this point forward things are only going to get a whole lot sleazier and a whole lot nastier.

Because I've seen people write things concerning Bristol and her earning money for her kid's future, let's remember a few things:

She hasn't made any media oriented money in years
All her past decisions were made to directly benefit Tripp financially. he has a full college fund and bank account.

Please, leave such matters alone. They are all living privately for once. Democrats ruined enough years ago with their manipulations by causing even more distrust between people.

You must have a problem with reading comprehension, the discussion is not about Bristol.

Democrats must be very powerful people if the the palins allow them to dictate their private lives and the palins must be very weak people to allow others to manipulate and gain such control over their actions :)

THEY'RE the ones that made themselves public figures. Not our fault they''re a dysfunctional mess under the false premise of a godly family, and, as the voting public, we'll say whatever we want when we want.

2:12 Sarah sunk McCain's chances over seven years ago, they lost, get used to it. In case you haven't noticed, if you scroll waaay up to the heading, it says nothing whatsoever about Sarah, Bristol, Tripp, Justin, Tom, Dick, Harry, Sailor, Marine, National Guard, Girl Scouts and living privately. So why bring them up, and how in the world are you privy to the college account for Tripp and whatever those few neurons zapping in your skull tell you?
Bristol bought the AZ home at the height of the market, had to do renovations, then sold when the market was the lowest. So which bank is this nickel for Tripp's College fund in???? I hope she finds a good daddy for her second child, because there's no doubt Tripp's Dad loves and wanted the best for him.

President Obama freed her cause celeb, the christian pastor she pissed and moaned about on her blog, did she ever give him thanks and credit? She's an ill mannered, uneducated bore with no marketable skills. She's to be pitied, not praised until after she writes a sex manual for virgins.

What a sore loser. I read he was threatening to sue. Imagine Donald as President suing everyone about everything.

Anyway, Cruz's dirty tricks were mild compared to what other Republicans have done. Karl Rove was/is a master of dirty tricks. Karl learned from one of the best, Lee Atwater, who help Poppy Bush win in 1988.

The fact is that Donald didn't have much of a ground game in Iowa. Cruz and Rubio both invested millions in the ground game. Trump didn't think he needed one; he thought his personality was all that was needed.

And so it is in New Hampshire. Some candidates have spent months getting ready for Tuesday to ensure everyone who would vote for them gets to the polls. Trump is just now trying to get his ground game up and running. Trump has not done many town halls where he takes questions. Folks in New Hampshire want to ask questions and more importantly they want answers besides hearing how great everything will be under Trump.

So I am hoping against hope that Donald is crying on Wednesday about how unfair it all is. That's politics. All is fair in love and politics.

As for Cruz, I was reading that many of the religious folks he is trying to get to vote for him in South Carolina are not too pleased with him for his dirty trick on Dr. Ben Carson.

Sarah is not coming out of this looking good either. Her attack on Cruz is costing her dearly. The comments on her FB are a testament to that.
She thought hitching herself to Trump was a great move. Apparently her followers are dismayed. Her attack on Cruz has exposed her as a shill and not a true "conservative". For many of the people who have backed her, sent her money and argued on her behalf the shock at what she is doing concerning Trump has caught them all off guard.
Well - duh!! They have been told but it is only now they are getting the message. They consider her a traitor.
I know G has some tidbits that he is holding onto for his reasons. At this point when they do come out it will be "frosting on the cake". For years many of us have said Sarah will be the instrument of her own demise - well that is true enough.

Donald Trump Comes Out Of Iowa Looking Like Pat Buchanan

On Monday, Iowa voters did something that Republican “party elites” had failed to do for more than seven months: They rejected Donald Trump.

Trump received 24 percent of the vote in the Iowa caucuses, placing him closer to the third-place candidate, Marco Rubio (23 percent), than to the winner, Ted Cruz (28 percent). Trump underperformed his polls, which had him winning Iowa with 29 percent of the vote, while Cruz and Rubio outperformed theirs.

It’s not uncommon for the polls to be off in Iowa and other early-voting states, but the manner in which Trump underachieved is revealing. It turns out that few late-deciding voters went for him. According to entrance polls in Iowa, Trump won 39 percent of the vote among Iowans who decided on their candidate more than a month ago. But he took just 13 percent of voters who had decided in the last few days, with Rubio instead winning the plurality of those voters.

...But there’s good reason to think that the ground game wasn’t the only reason for Trump’s defeat. Republican turnout in Iowa was extremely high by historical standards and beat most projections. Furthermore, Trump won the plurality of first-time caucus-goers.
There may have been a more basic reason for Trump’s loss: The dude just ain’t all that popular. Even among Republicans.

...Trump is a master at sucking the oxygen out of the race by drawing attention to himself with new controversies. The Twitter rant is just one more example of this media strategy, particularly at a time when Cruz and Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) are basking in the glow of their performances in Iowa.

Cruz responded Wednesday afternoon, mocking the businessman for throwing a "Trumpertantrum."

"His insults get more and more hysterical the more upset he gets," Cruz said in a press conference in New Hampshire. "I wake up every day and laugh at the latest thing he's tweeted because he's losing it."

"We need a commander in chief, not a tweeter in chief," the senator added. “I mean we’re liable to wake up one day and Donald, if he were president, would have nuked Denmark."
