Sarah Palin suddenly cancels appearance in Wyoming to support Donald Trump.

Courtesy of Politico:

Sarah Palin will not be appearing as a surrogate for Donald Trump at the Wyoming Republican Party convention this weekend, the state's GOP announced on Thursday.

According to a release on the Republican Party of Wyoming’s website, the Trump campaign said she would not be attending. It provided no explanation for the last-minute cancellation.

“The Donald Trump campaign has informed the Wyoming Republican Party that Sarah Palin, the scheduled surrogate speaker for the presidential candidate, will not be attending the State GOP Convention,” the release says. “Former Governor Palin was scheduled to speak to the convention delegates Saturday morning between 10-11am along with presidential candidate Ted Cruz and John Kasich surrogate Governor Butch Otter of Idaho.”

“The Trump campaign has not indicated whether another one of Trump’s surrogates will be in Casper this Saturday morning,” it continues.

So what are our choices here?

Another Palin pregnancy?

Another Palin arrest?

Or did Donald Trump finally realize that he loses in every place that Palin shows up to support him?

Palin also gave an interview the other day in which she said this:

Palin said voters know better than to be fooled by party leaders.

"How dare they?" Palin asked, denouncing "arrogant political operatives who underestimate the wisdom of the people."

If party leaders try to intervene at the July convention, "we will rise up and say our vote does count, our activism does count," she said.

Palin said she is not convinced by pledges from party leaders that the GOP nominee will be chosen from among those running for president.

"There are some snakes in there," she said of party leaders. "I've had to deal with the political machinery my whole career."

Palin said she plans to attend the convention in Cleveland, but she conceded that she may have to "invite myself to the party."

"I can't see any of them inviting me," she said of party leaders. "I think they are afraid of what I would say."

Yeah I can see why Trump might not want her making appearances on his behalf.

Hi Gryphen! there is NO fuckin' way the GOP brass will allow her anywhere near Cleveland this July! The Donald's campaign is sagging, so it looks like he shuffled his staff. Smarter heads prevailed, and they deduced that she is an empty-headed know-nothing! The opportunities that she has left to whore herself out to are dwindling fast; I'd love to see that grifting bunch wind up flat broke!!

Sarah Palin has no sense of reality , if she ever did? She will continue to self destruct. She earned everything she is reaping right now.

IMHO, Palin and Trump closely planning/working together on Trump (& Palin's) takeover of the GOP/gopE since day 1 of the Donald's 2016 bid. After Palin was sabotaged by and within GOP in 2008 and 2012, she's been planning, knowing this would be the route.

Trump/Palin 2016 ticket was/is a given. (The only glitch was Todd's recent accident, but it looks as Todd is on the mend and in any event Trump/Palin remains a GO!)

After Sarah takes over the GOP then it's virtually inevitable that she will become President, it's just a question of timing...

Note, Palin did not issue the cancelation, The Donald's campaign issued the cancelation. They probably found out she's all rogue-y, won't follow instructions, and are tired of taking any more chances with her.

OH no. You forget that she was a Mayor of such an important city that she had to hire a City Manager to handle all the work! You betcha the City Council was not on board with that $100,000 position! Then then she got herself put onto the Oil and Gas Commission, where she proceeded to fight the current and look in other people's computers for ways to get them fired. And that is the tip of the iceberg with this family. Fires, airplane crashes, drunken underage parties....Sarah knows all about fighting the political machinery to keep the evil out of the press.

    2. Anonymous7:58 AM

It's a fact that she hired someone else to do the work when she was Mayor of Wasilla. (She did nothing except make appearances when needed.) She quit (again!) when on the Oil and Gas Commission (a position she was appointed to by Frank Murkowski - Lisa's Dad!).

And, she quit as guv of Alaska I don't think she should wear the title of Governor of Alaska - think she has only earned the title of 'quitter guv of Alaska, Sarah Palin'!

      Delete
    3. Anonymous9:48 AM

Wasn't her appointment to the O&G Commission a consolation prize bc Murkowski realized she was too dumb to appoint to his state senate seat??? Or was it a consolation prize after she ran for Lt Gov and lost... quid pro quo for being a good little GOP party girl...

Anyway, her position was a layman community liaison position. She had zero O&G experience other than being the wife of a guy working the North Slope. She hated the job and the drive and looked for ways to quit, finally finding an excuse when she snooped Randy Reudrich's computer. "He's a crook and I can't bear to work here any longer...toddles!" Then used that to build her fake ethic fighting maverick cred.

Ugh! She was always working an angle.

Also, too: and blind and deaf idjit can clearly see that wherever $he showed up to 'support' any political person, that political person in that location lost. Even 'super smart' (ahem!) tRump must have finally seen it, and if he actually does want to win and not just 'run' for the sake of it, then he had to draw the consequences and fire her.
    About time.
If she wants to go to Cleveland this summer, she definitely can. Question is, if she gets admitted to the convention, or if she has to wait outside with the rowdy bikers and other troublemakers. Palin said she plans to attend the convention in Cleveland, but she conceded that she may have to "invite myself to the party."

"I can't see any of them inviting me," she said of party leaders. "I think they are afraid of what I would say."

    Dear Sarah,
Can't you take a hint? The GOP did NOT invite you to the Republican Convention in 2012 when you had been their VP nominee just 4 years earlier. Your star was still pretty bright. At least you were appearing on Fox. At first you were going to set up some booth in a nearby hotel, and then you found someone to invite you to campaign for them, Arizona?

You may have to invite yourself this year? And just how will you put yourself on the speaking agenda? Trump is going to be busy buying delegates and screaming that they are stealing his nomination. Do you think that he is going to invite you to be part of his campaign when you gave such awful speeches?

Awful speeches? Honey, when Time Magazine calls you pathetic and they claim that they did not understand one word that you said, that's not a compliment. It's publicity but it's not good publicity . I guess you don't understand the optics of having a kid arrested and yet you continued to campaign for Trump. You husband was seriously injured in a snow mobile accident and you stayed in Florida to keep on speaking. Don't you get it? That really looked bad. Now that Trump needs every single delegate, he can't take a chance on you any more. Fat lot of good you are going to do at a convention if you can't hack it in Wyoming.

Good luck with that judging show. You are just the one to counsel families about drug addition, teen pregnancy, violent, abusive behavior, vandalism. No, wait, you may have seen it but if you can't take of your own family, it's laughable that you would advise others. Love ya@

Her fundraising scam is finally fizzling out. I just looked at the new SarahPAC disclosure in detail and she spent over $57,000 on HSP direct mail to fundraise only $138,000.

One doesn't have to be a CPA to see that this metric is not going to work for her for much longer. If this trend continues, which it looks certain to based on 2015 numbers, by the end of 2016 fundraising expenses are going to actually meet or exceed her income from fundraising.

I predict that SarahPAC will be dismantled at the end of this election cycle. There will be enough to pay "Golden parachutes" to Jason Recher (NorthStar Strategies) Tim Crawford, PAC chairman, Marilyn Lane and Carol Ryan, "world's highest paid part time clerical staff" and run the balance to zero. The grift will finally be up and Palin will have to start spending her own money, instead of OPM.

"The Lady from the land of ice and snow in the far North has issued a chilling warning to the 'powers that be'. That warning should freeze the very hearts of those who are trying to steal the WILL of the people and THEIR right to vote for a president, in favor of 'the party' itself selecting a candidate.
I am amazed and intrigued by the warning of massive change coming from the Trump camp, and, gratified. It is long overdue.
Neither Trump nor Palin are shy and retiring 'shrinking violets'. Both appear to enjoy and derive extreme satisfaction from getting nose to nose with the power elites in America. And WINNING.
There can be no doubts in any reasoning mind that this election will decide the fate of our American Republic, unique in the history of the world.
Will we follow the left into socialism, or WORSE, as we watch the continued disintegration of our Constitution, our Republic, our own rights, freedoms and liberties?
Or, will we do whatever we must to ensure the lasting legacy given to us by our Founders, that of LIFE, LIBERTY, and the PURSUIT of HAPPINESS. Will we protect, defend, and preserve that most unique charter of human freedom, the Constitution?
Trump is doing so. Palin is doing so. Now it is up to us.

Didn’t she threaten to show up at the 2012 convention uninvited, then backed out?

      Yes, she did.

She gets a thrill of whipping people into a frenzy. Some x-tian. If there's rioting, as Trump and she have threatened, she'll be the one on the end of the bullhorn.

      How I LOATHE that POS.

Okay, betting is on. What happened?

    1) Piper's pregnant.
    2) Track put his girlfriend in the hospital.
    3) Todd was arrested for pimping.
    4) Sarah can't find her Belmonts.
    5) Nat'l Enquirer is publishing a story that Sarah slept with Ted Cruz.
    6) Trump finally figured it out that he's loses every state primary she shows up at.

    Or maybe she's got a toothache (SP at a climate-change-deniers meeting): https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CgB2pJnVAAALjKd.jpg

How sad. Sarah must be a real loud snorer, gotta be it, she checks off all the other boxes Trump likes in his women except the ones captured and made in america. Can you imagine the sound of chandelier crystals dragging on the floor?? And the vision of two wig forms, one with his toupee and one with her roadkil, pan over to their false teeth cups.... ugh, I'm making myself ill.

She thinks they're afraid of what she'll say? Seriously? They're afraid she'll be all meth-ed up or drunk again.

    Sarah,
no one who opposes you is afraid of what you may say...
It is only those who LIKE you that are afraid of what might come out of your mouth at any time.
Because you say really stupid things that hurt your cause.

Can't be in Wyoming stumping for Trump when she has to be in Las Vegas peddling her 'Judge' show!
