You may be cool but you will never be "riding in a car with the Queen of England" cool.

I'm sorry but it seems that everything this President does is extra cool for some reason.

In a brief chat with the media, President Obama said that the Queen is one of his favorite people. We already know she likes him.

POTUS and FLOTUS had lunch with the Queen and then dinner with Prince William and his wife at their home. The British royal family is clearly fond of the Obamas.

Next month the Invictus Games for disabled war veterans will take place. The Games are a new version of the Stoke-Mandeville Games, which grew into the Paralympics. Prince Harry and FLOTUS are patrons and she has had support from him in her work for education for girls.

The Royal Family has never before had such a warm and close relationship with an American First Family.

Prince William and Kate Middleton needed the boost of a good PR image right about now- photos being released of Prince George, looking adorable in his robe, riding the rocking horse the Obamas sent as a gift when he was born and shaking Pres. Obama's hand will go a long way in helping make people forget about the criticisms his parents have been receiving the last month or so. Perfect timing for the D/D of Cambridge- obvious PR from them is obvious. Prince Harry, on the other hand, I DO believe actually gets along with the Obamas, or at least Michelle- don't know how much time he's spent with Barack- probably why he was included in the event. At least HE hasn't wiped his hand on his clothing like Kate did after she shook hands with the black wife of New York's mayor!

We are going to miss this extraordinary POTUS tremendously; we will miss FLOTUS, and the Obama family.

And yes, President Obama has done a lot of cool and impressive things presidenting while black despite hateful actions by sundry rabid tea-bagging windingos.

I find it more than "interesting," dowl, that this country can mourn Prince as they are, yet find such contempt for our President. WHY? Compartmentalized.

Yeah, we'll celebrate you as artists and sports heroes but NEVER as leaders. White MEN know best. To the back of the bus with you (bitchface's Earth Day post).

President Obama cleaned up one hell of a mess that the white guy left, and our First Family have served us with nothing but grace and eloquence. No scandals, no nothing. Is that what's bothering you, "whitey?"

What the Obamas have had to endure is obscene. I wonder how much they'll open up about the racism when they write their memoirs.

When Bush went to England, he embarrassed me. Pres. Obama is so gracious. Did you see him interact with Will's boy?

It's sad that he cannot be president forever.

No one can begin to understand the stress and pressure that lands on a person being President.

Some people have just napped through their terms (Reagan) and not worried too much about it.

OThers like W Bush have misused their power by starting wars, and have treated it like a personal fiefdom.

President Obama has made his mistakes, but in retrospect has been the steady, thoughtful, guiding hand on the wheel.
He does not rush to judgement, and does not make stupid rash decisions.

I don't like the drone strikes he's been behind , and many useful drugs are still on Schedule 1. The man is not perfect.

I believe in time he will be regarded as one of the very best

Once again, AJB, agree. I have been disappointed with some decisions he has made but he is privy to a lot more info than we are!

From the "you lie!" of Joe Lewis SOTU 2009, I thought, "hit a nerve, did he?" The constant twisted panties of the Tundra Twit if she even wears any.....

Okay, I feel it's time to add a little reverse angle to this idea. First, it is NORMAL for there to be conversational PAUSES in ANY conversation. It happens to everyone. Second, is it not possible they are simply listening to Phillip? I mean, his mouth IS open, after all.

Besides, the whole point is that our president and his wife are riding in a car with the Prince driving! I agree with 5:51: people will read ANYTHING into a photo!

Michelle doesn't look so cool. Michelle looks like she wants to say something about the Prince's driving.

US President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle began a three-day visit to the UK by attending a private lunch with the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh. Mr Obama then met with Prime Minister David Cameron ahead of a dinner at Kensington Palace with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry. On Saturday they visited Shakespeare's Globe theatre.

After his term is up; his family plan to continue living in DC.

EXCITED, he will be Hillarys advisor. Let's get her in the WH to continue his legacy!

This President has sailed along, being so well liked by dignitaries and leaders and monarchs, as well as FL Michele. It's no nice to see this delightful couple warm the affections of the Queen and Prince Phillip, so much so that they'll show them around in such a personal matter.

I am savoring and appreciating these last months before Jan. 2017.

Isn't Philip a bit too old to be driving the POTUS around? Isn't he older than Liz? Was he actually driving?

I'm betting British SAS, and USS staff were in front of them and behind, along with roads cleared ahead of them, and overhead helicopters providing security.

Probably only driving 30 mph anyways.

He has never had an accident and has never been booked.

      Prince Phillip is only 94.

I loved seeing President Obama and Michelle up close and personal with the Queen of England and her family. And, on her 90th birthday to boot!

We are so going to miss the Obamas in the White House for so many reasons!

      Great family
      Good schools

      No "abstinence" pregnancies
No stupid twitter fish lips photos

      On to college
      Advanced degrees

      Real careers.

Quite a contrast to the Payme clan.

BTW, Bri$tol's darkest dream is that Sasha or Malia marry into a royal family !

This picture is funny. It is the typical lower class thing of men in the front and women in the back. The classiest married couples in the world...

Actually, class has nothing to do with it. My family are financially well-off, solid middle class Brits, and the men always sit in front with the women in back.

It's cool that even the Queen isn't above that cultural tradition, and she's hardly "typical lower class"!! It's just a British thing.

Must be hard to sit in the car with the stick up their arshes royalty and try to look casual. Obama does his meetings with these demigods with class. Unlike Bush. I had to laugh at him when he winked at the queen. Haha. That Bush. What an ass.

That's the beauty part. There are known knowns unknown knowns. Good Point. President Obama is Black AND President simultaneously, and he makes it look so easy. So those who see a black man are just as correct as those who see a black man who's president.

He makes everything look easy. He's sitting in a car in the traditional spot where people in America drive, Flotus and the Birtday girl are in the back, and President Obama isn't even breaking a sweat.
When we were in Europe and I was a passenger, it freaked me out sitting where the steering wheel "should" be. I kept pushing the non existent break and gas pedal and looking for the steering wheel. Takes some time to get used to, but POTUS is just chilling out, cool as a cucumber.
