Samantha Bee just did to the Religious Right what they have been doing to America for the last forty years.

Okay first off let me just say that Samantha Bee is singing my song and the melody sounds delightful.

This is what I have been talking about since the very beginning of IM. In fact this issue is why IM even exists.

And damn did she do a good job or what?

This is right up there with the deep dives that John Oliver has been doing over at HBO, and that is high praise indeed.

Do yourself a favor and watch this entire segment.

And then do the country a favor and spread it far and wide.

In Rwanda, the Clinton administration "systematically stonewalled any action from the United Nations, essentially allowing the genocide to drag on without backlash, the OAU investigation concluded."

What does this have to do with the post? Maybe you don't realize this, but when you put a quote, say where it is from.

It'll be some Right-wing troll rag that we'll laugh at.

  4. Incredibly, Abortion isn't the main reason for bible-thumping voting for the tax-cuts-for-the-rich party. More believably.nobody seems to share Jesus's concern for the poor.

    American Exceptionalism Indeed.

In a race where a large % of people don't vote, a socialist just almost won a conservative state. THAT tells you Hillary is loathed and distrusted.

That actually seems like a very logical conclusion. If not, what is your reasoning 6:28?

"Democratic Socialist". Not the same thing as "socialist". Look it up.

Why would you assume Democrats in Kentucky are all conservative?

Would you also assume Republicans in California or Oregon are all liberal?

I still say that we 'owe' some of this religious right/Republican cabal on Ronnie the Saint Reagan. In the early 80s, Jerry Falwell went knocking on the door of the White House, and ever the actor playing a part, Ronnie let him in. Thus was born the innoble link between Christian conservatives and Republicans. Falwell preached vehemently that to be godly and moral, you had to be a Republican - and vise versa. The link was cast, as was the dye and the fanatical Christian Right (think Palin) took root and hold of the Republican Party. God help us all.

And it looks like Hillary's taken Kentucky by a hair. Maybe I misspoke, 'cause if Hillary can take Kentucky, we're smarter than I thought. My mistake. And I've made a few.

Go Hillary! Personally, I believe the religious right has been poisoning the nation since long before Falwell and Reagan, though they shoulder plenty of blame in how it has adversely affected voters in today's world.

This is the Joe McGinniss book on the other side. Klein's i no different from his.

In Klein’s book, called ‘The Amateur’, he claimed that Mrs Obama prepared the divorce papers to separate from the President in 2000 following his disastrous attempt to win a House seat in Chicago.
After he lost miserably the future First Lady was supposedly disgusted that her husband had put at risk their ‘stable and secure future’.
The book claims their marriage - in its eighth year at the time - was ‘on the rocks’ with Mr Obama so depressed some of his friends feared he was suicidal.

      Why are you posting this?

    2. Why are you posting drivel from this book:

Discredited reporter Ed Klein is back with another book, Unlikeable: The Problem with Hillary. And, like his previous work, the book reads like a conservative fever dream translated into a screenplay.

Klein's previous books ... have been roundly criticized by a wide range of reporters, including many conservatives.

    3. Klein's books are all the same; conservative bullshit. His Obama book is every bit as worthless as his book on the Clintons.
