Another primary day, so of course more allegations of fraud from the Bernie Sanders campaign.

Courtesy of The Hill:

Bernie Sanders’s campaign is accusing Puerto Rico’s Democratic Party officials of fraud in the territory’s presidential primary.

The campaign’s head of Hispanic voter efforts, Betsy Franceschini, told Caribbean Business in an interview that Sanders officials were initially denied access to prisons to help inmates vote.

“Our Bernie Sanders officials were never certified. We had 40 officials we submitted in time for the prisons. Not one of them was certified, while all of theirs [Hillary Clinton’s] went in. Attorney Manny Suárez had to go in order for us to be let in. This is a great fraud,” Franceschini said.

Every single time, just like clockwork.

Of course the Puerto Rican Democratic party disagrees with this allegation

The head of the Democratic Party of Puerto Rico slammed the Sanders campaign on Saturday for accusing it of unfairly denying poll workers access to prisons to help inmates vote.

"I am appalled at the remarks from the spokesperson of the Bernie Sanders Campaign in Puerto Rico, Ms. Betsy Franceschini," local Democratic Party president Roberto Prats said in a statement.

"The claim that the Democratic Party is delaying the certification of the Sanders' poll workers is preposterous. The first complete set of pollworkers for tomorrow's primary we have certified were all from the Sander's Campaign."

If you guessed that Hillary Clinton is leading Puerto Rico, which holds its primary today, in the polls you would be correct.

It seems that when Sanders is leading in the polls, or wins the primary, everything is copacetic, however if that is not the case, well then clearly there was some type of fraud.

The Sanders campaign might be worried about California as well, since the allegations around that state's primary have already started.
The councilman's spokesman responded with this:

Ryu spokesman Estevan Montemayor called those messages “an inaccurate depiction of the last 24 hours” — saying the councilman’s office had been trying to help the campaign stage a successful event. Sanders’ campaign did not have a ticketing system or a plan for addressing traffic congestion, which is required of every group that holds a rally or concert at the Greek, Montemayor said.

“Any person or organization that chooses to have an event at the Greek Theatre needs to follow all the same guidelines," Montemayor said. “The Sanders campaign was asked to work with L.A. city staff on a traffic mitigation plan and a ticketing system, just as the Clinton campaign has done for their event on Monday evening. The Sanders campaign chose not to move forward, all while the city held resources for tomorrow’s event.”

Anybody else noticing a pattern?

Polls are only open for 7 hours 8:00-3:00. The number of polling places was reduced from 1500-432. Note in 2008 there were over 2000 polling places. There is a local election going on and the polling places are different for the Democratic election and local election.Polling location lists have been changing over this past week, making it difficult to figure out where to go.There are over 200,000 college students in Puerto Rico that may not be interested in local elections but are interested in Sanders and would gain an advantage over the everyday voters who would vote with party lines (Clinton) but don't want to go through the hassle of voting at two different locations.

In California what the people are hearing is nothing but anti Clinton messages from Senator Sanders and Donald Trump.

Secretary Hillary Clinton is only attacking Donald Trump so as not to turn the Sanders voters against her in the general election.

That is one reason Senator Sanders is getting a lot of pro-Sanders attention in California.

Senator Sanders knows this and is taking advantage this while it hasn't registered to some of the people in California.

All they are hearing is Sanders against Clinton and Clinton is bad.

And of course you would want to avoid the Republican Trump supporters: Jon Voight, Kid Rock, Stephen Baldwin, Robert Davi, Aaron Carter, Loretta Lynn, Azealia Banks, Jesse James, Kirstie Alley, Mike Tyson, Gary Busey, Dennis Rodman, Lou Ferrigno, Hulk Hogan, Tila Tequila, Wayne Newton, Willie Robertson, Jesse Ventura, Mike Ditka, Terrell Owens, Pete Rose, Tom Brady, Johnny Damon, Paul O'Neill, Scott Baio.

But as comsumers everyone gets to spend their own money as they see fit, just like I personally don't shop at Walmart or Chic fil A, there are other stores that I choose to support instead. But if any actor is trying to live off what I spend at the movies they would have already starved to death, as for TV, I rarely watch it. Before Bernie Sanders decided to run for the presidency as a member of the Democratic Party he should have done some reading up on how the primaries and a national convention work. There are lots of books out there about previous elections. He obviously did not prepare so now he's relying on blaming every state or territory holding a primary of cheating him even as the voters go to their polling places.

He's acted the same way when interviewed and asked about just about anything that wasn't word for word what he said in a speech. No answers about how he would pay for universal health care or free college education. Just a dismissal of the interviewer's question because he's so busy running his campaign.

Is that how he would run a presidency? Any time the UN or a foreign power disagreed with him would he shout "fraud"?

Hillary has so gotten under the thin skin.

...But after two rallies and a flurry of interviews there's no question Clinton has gotten to Trump in a big way. As she said, he is very thin skinned. (Emphatically denying that you're thin-skinned is not a credible rebuttal.) Given who he is, being denigrated by a strong woman must cut deeply. Underneath the angry talk, he appears befuddled and uncertain about just how to respond. That is mainly because even before her assault he'd maxed out his invective. She was crooked, a liar, untalented, a lightweight, a sexual predator by proxy. How exactly do you escalate from there?

His furious effort to wring more aggression out of the English language has proved a rather unconvincing rebuttal to her central charge that he is temperamentally unfit, too emotionally unstable to serve as President. He now says flatly that she should be in jail, says he'll find an Attorney General who will imprison her. He now also calls her a "thief" which somehow is the reason she set up her own email server. Overshadowed by the "my African-American" stumble in Friday's speech in Redding was a bizarre interlude in which Trump gave a glowing evocation of the supporter who cold-cocked and beat a protester in Tucson on March 20th as an example of his little-heralded but purportedly expansive support among African-Americans. He's trying to escalate but has little room to go. He's maxed out. The transcripts of the two speeches read like compressed literary spittle.

His affect is also different. Both rallies struck me as significantly hotter than anything we've seen before from Trump, more sweat, more chopping hands, more yelling - simply more electric, frenzied and angry.

What’s the worst, most damaging thing you can say about Donald Trump. That he’s weak on foreign policy? A bully? A bigot? Not as wealthy as he says? Not a great businessman?

No. Despite all those being accurate descriptions, those have all already been tried, with almost no success.

The worst, most damaging thing you can say about him is this: He’s not very interesting. He’s a bore.

Calling him that is the one thing he won’t be able to stand, since the constant spotlight is his addiction.

But President Obama was fairly and correctly called the winner of the race by the media in June 2008 (when HRC was only 100 delegates behind), and Hillary deserves the same in 2016. Watch from 2008:

I'll bet Dr. Rachel Maddow (MSNBC) will call the race even though Bernie doesn't want anyone to do it! He's such a slacker!

Go home, Bernie! You are the loser! The majority of America is sick and tired of your idiocy!

He's dropped considerably in the crowds he's drawing! It should be so obvious to him that he is/has lost to Hillary Clinton as the Democratic nominee!! Shit, he isn't even a Demorat! What a fucking joke!

He's a sack of lying crud and needs to go back to home state - rest and shut his trap!

Bernie's habit of crying fraud every time he's about to lose a state is identical to the Trump MO. Trump attacks a judge to try to delegitimize his rulings ahead of time, and goes after the media in an attempt to inoculate himself against future bad press. What a pair of shady characters.

That's as valid as demanding to see President Obama's college transcripts or long form birth certificate. Neither of those things have been required of any candidate in electoral history.

Never before have copies of speech transcripts been required either.

The release of several years worth of tax returns, however, has been a tradition for decades. At least they were until Romney refused to release more than one year of complete tax returns and summaries of others.

It's up to the Republican National Committee's Standing Rules Committee (56 members) and the Republican National Convention rules committee (112 members). The former is a permanent body; the latter's members are selected at state conventions, and will meet the week of July 11th. I'm not aware of whatever connection you are suggesting between these bodies and the justice system.

Are Americans really going to service Trump and Sanders everytime they cry foul? I've noticed all our politicians are just crybabys. They don't get their way they cause a gridlock. Even baby Bush got his way that one year. All smug. There's no strength in these men. I thought great leaders work things out. Guess, that is the thing of the past. Ah, well. But this Bernie guy should call it a day soon, cuz now he's just irritating. He and Trump together are like one Sarah Palin wrapped in one. Irritating and unreasonable.

I am completely, 100% sure that absolutely, positively, everything in the Democratic party's process has been completely above board and unbiased. Why would the Democratic Party have any reason to rig anything in the process to insure that one of their elite, a woman of Democratic Royality, the heir apparent-receive the nomination?

Why would delegates who have been Dem party members for many years, have been involved with the party in many primaries and elections, seen Hillary as part of Obama's successful administration, her commitment to the country and to equality for all Americans, be persuaded by the nebulous socialist manifesto of Bernie and his army of non-Democrat idealists?

@11:17 - Here's what Bernie told the LA Times today:

"Sanders also acknowledged that, while he hopes to change the nominating system in the future, the rules he's operating under were set before his candidacy.

"I don’t use the word 'rigged,'" he said. "I knew what I was getting into."

      Delete
    6. Anonymous1:40 PM

He doesn't use the word -- but his surrogates do, and he whines and sues over every rule he finds inconvenient. Aw, Saint Bernie. He just can't understand how his uninformed followers get these crazy ideas!

Similarly, Trump is just flummoxed as to why his supporters are behaving in a hostile fashion toward people of color and Muslims.

Bernie spent 4 decades being paid by tax dollars to accomplish nothing of value.Yet somehow now you believe Old Bernie will turn that around because he promised you the world. Too bad he not only won't be able to pay for any of it,hi wife would be first in line to take advantage of it.

  27. Even if Bernie was ethical enough to win the nomination and face off against the Drumpf, how quick would the Repubtiles condemn him as a communist? The word "socialist" is just as poisonous to 100% of the GOP and 50% of the Dems as is "communist". There is no way Bernie should be carrying the Democrat banner in this election.

It has always been Gryphen's blog where he tries to get the truth out about flawed and failed politicians .Sarah Palin was only the biggest ,most obvious, there have been many others. Bernie is just the latest in a string of those needing to be called out for what they are and what they are not. Along the way,Gryphen has been a promoter of Gay rights and a supporter of women. His blog will be fine.If you are finding it painful to visit because you can't see the forest for the trees, someone else will visit.
