President Obama slow jams the news on the Tonight Show and it is awesome! Update!

Damn he slammed Donald Trump, promoted Hillary Clinton, and defended TPP in one segment.

I know you all are tired of hearing me say how much I am going to miss this man, so I won't say it.

(But I AM gonna miss this man.)

Update: Oops I forgot to include this link to the Obama Diary, with many more You Tube videos of President Obama's appearance.

  1. I so love Obama's straight face. Mr. Cool is an understatement.

Makes me feel sad for the rest
Nobody does it half as good as you
      Mr. President, you're the best"

  2. He also did "thank you notes". Not only can he make fun of himself, he's got natural comic timing. I'm not sure I'll ever enjoy a President (or his family) as much as I have President Obama.

I watched the show and it was really nice to see Obama in such a casual setting. You get to see him as a person and not just POTUS. I will miss him and his family but I'm proud to say I voted twice for him.

I think he is glad to be rid of all the responsibility he has had to carry and will do everything he can to not allow an idiot like Trump to carry on.

We have seen him age before our eyes and that is what the weight of such a tremendous responsibility doe's to someone who takes it seriously. Trump can do his tanning bed orange face crap and Melania can have all her botox and pose like a stepford wife but they will never possess the intellect that is needed for the most important job, the most thankless job in the world.

And he will be crtisized for this appearance and this is why i don't think it was a good decision. I like President Obama but there is too much of this exposure to tv shows and it came off as an ego trip.

Now let me clarify that i am not a right wing troll. I am a liberal moderate. I suppose there is no catergory for that as it seems people are now put in a box as being ultra liberal or ultra conservative.

I just watched The Cuban Missle Crises movie when Kennedy was President and i recommend it to anyone who wants an example of real leadership. Would Kennedy take advantage of today's media? probably but the question is to what extent.

An ego trip? Seriously? I see no criticisms of this anywhere. What I DO see is a President who has led us well, and brought us back from the brink we were in, with grace, class, and humor. So he let his "hair" down as he has many times.

This is not the sixties. It's a different world, and President Obama sought to heal that relationship as well and did. It's what leaders do.

The president is extremely brilliant and very telegenic. It's a perfect combination that we won't see again soon in a male presidential candidate.

You watched one movie about Kennedy and seem to know everything through how some actor portrayed him? sweetie, I lived the 60's and there were no bigger media whores than the Kennedy's in the WH. Even with very little media we knew all about them, the pony they had at the WH, pics of the kiddos released constantly. Hell, they would have had stuff up on instagram daily if they were here now. Now run along and try to come up with another backhanded insult at President Obama.

I cannot get over how Pres Obama keeps a straight face when he slow jams and Jimmy says something with sexual innuendo.

On TRMS tonight they lost their connection to Trump's Virginia rally. I was watching it online and Trump sounded like his usual loser self. I was surprised to see all these kids sitting behind him and wriggling around and talking and taking selfies, ad so on. Later on Rachel, she showed the room where the rally was. it could hold, I think she said, 10,000 but had only about 2000. Trump of course made it appear as if the place was filled, plus he said a # of things that would make anyone think there was a huge crowd.

Looking forward to his post presidential career. Methinks he'll do great things (and they won't involve bad art... Yeah, I'm looking at you, little W).

Hillary will define her own way, policy wonk cool. Cause pantsuits are definitely the new black.

When you have a body like hillary, really pantsuits are but one option. She can spend 12 grand on a jacket and still look like frump. She might as well go full muummuu. It would suit her better.

Yes she's driven and kind of smart about some things but she's never been a "looker". Bill had things right banging all those hot chicks and letting pantsuit woman get her girl thing on and use her political power as a substitute for the love and devotion that other women have from their husbands.

You are gross. You should see some of the amazing photos that are gorgeous of Hillary through the years. And she's pretty darn photogenic now--much more so than you are. You are so jealous of her! LOL!!!!! But even more impressive is her genius. Start practicing: "Madame President."

      Delete
    4. Wow. How superficial can you get? I don't care how she looks it doesn't give anyone the right to be so nasty. I happen to think she looks great. It is the beauty of a person on the inside and outside that makes a person. She is beautiful to me.

The Bernie Sanders campaign has become well known for releasing moving, positive campaign ads in the absence of the more accusatory and nasty ads we have come to know from political campaigns.

Though some opponents have clamored for Sanders to leave the race for weeks now, this newest political ad sends a powerful message to those detractors: I still have work to do, I still have a message to share.

This newest ad focuses on the devastating impact our past decades of mass incarceration has had on generations of individuals and their families.

    Watch.

Ah, so a couple of days before the primary in Washington, D.C., Bernie Sanders has realized that issues important to the African-American community do matter. Remember that a few months ago he was sure that all such issues would be resolved by waving an "income equality" wand?

He's trying to turn his big loss into a "movement." He doesn't know how to do it, though. Rebranding a slogan from "Feel the Bern" to "The Struggle Continues" is not enough.
