Today on Morning Joe Bernie Sanders said that he WILL vote for Hillary Clinton in November. Well there you go then.

Nope, still not time to suspend my campaign.
Courtesy of Politico:

Bernie Sanders on Friday said he will cast his vote for Hillary Clinton in November.

“Yes,” the Vermont senator said when asked on MSNBC if he would vote for the former secretary of state this fall.

“I think the issue right here is I’m gonna do everything I can to defeat Donald Trump.” “I think Trump in so many ways will be a disaster for this country if he were to be elected president,” Sanders told MSNBC. “We do not need a president whose cornerstone of his campaign is bigotry, is insulting Mexicans and Latinos and Muslims and women, who does not believe in the reality of climate change when virtually every scientist who has studied this issue understands that we have a global crisis. This is not somebody who should become president.”

When asked a follow up question as to why he still refuses to suspend his campaign Sanders sort of blinked and said "Why would I want to do that?"

He also expressed his desire to help form the "strongest possible platform" for the Democratic party.

Whatever that means.

Here is video of the interview.

I suspect that he will finally concede very close to the Convention, since it sounds like it was made clear to him "No concession, no speech'. And, if we've learned one thing about Bernie - it's that Bernie is all in and will do whatever it takes - for Bernie.

May be Sen. Sanders is not a quitter and believes in seeing things out to the end.
      He is not a quitter.
One of the things to like about him.

Perhaps you've missed Sanders's appearance on The Late Show. No worries, you can catch it on Youtube.
He and Colbert have a conversation addressing your concern of why Sanders has not suspended his campaign yet.
He will do so, and he will vote for Hillary as the Democratic nominee.

In the meantime, he gleefully stokes the ignorant hate of those of his followers who will vote for Trump just to show the DNC, by god. So much ignorance, so little time.

    Hardly.

He has every right and is totally correct to continue the momentum he has developed. The platform of the Democratic party does need to be overhauled and brought further left. Hillary does need to have her feet held to the fire and regardless of what you try to make people think, she does need our votes. If Bernie were to give up and come back to VT like people keep telling him to, the impetus would just fizzle out as there is way too much time between now and November. I know you guys don't think much of millenials, but he has been successful in igniting a fire in them which was not previously there. I have 2 of my own, I know. Hillary has not been able to do that. Can we just be a little more patient and allow the course of events to play themselves out. We don't even know if Trump is going to make it to the election and I actually doubt he will. What's the big rush in getting rid of Bernie?

Did Bernie join the Democrats or not? Why the hell are we walking on eggshells around an old white man who got a LOT less votes/delegates than HRC in 2008--and her opponent was our great President! In 2016, Bernie lost by about 4 million votes; his millennial attraction factor has amounted to very little. (Why didn't they turn out to vote?) He never once matched Obama's crowd draws, either. He needs to concede like an adult; I look forward to his full concession. This half-assed stuff he's done today is weak tea. Raw Story reports that he already qualified it with "most likely" will vote for her in another interview on CNN today. WTH?

"but he has been successful in igniting a fire in them which was not previously there" Bull shit. That fire will lasts as long as the one for Obama. At the first disappointment they all bail. It is the generation of instant gratification. If they don't get immediate results they stay home and pout.

Apparently neither you or Bernie understand how things come come up for a vote on the platform, these things are voted on during a 4 yr process and then voted on at the nat'l level at the DNC. Maybe instead of flitting of to Vatican city he should have read up on it. No, he will not get all the changes he wants because the Democratic Party is run by a democratic process and not some communist dictator crap.

@8:39 - actually, the millenials DID vote in the UK to remain in the EU. It was the Trump-like followers (blue collar, poorly educated, and oldsters who hate the fact that so many "immigrants" were able to flood their dear old English shores who voted to leave the EU. on the other hand, young, middle-aged and seniors in Scotland voted to remain, and they may very well get their wish if the SNP manages to hold another independence referendum.

He's voting for Hillary, sure, but won't endorse her or urge his followers to vote for her until she adopts most of his agenda. Perhaps Bernie really believes that life under President Drumpf won't be so bad after all. Sadly, we may just get the chance to find out.

Since HRC's vote matched his 93% of the time in the Senate, his feet-dragging here after losing by 4 million votes makes little logical sense--especially if he really aims to stop Trump as he claims. His actions do not match his words.

Bernie's a major sexist. I can't picture him behaving this way if the nominee had been a guy instead of Hillary. It's easier to try to delegitimize a woman (or a black man), which is what Bernie is doing to Hillary, just like the Rethuglicans have tried to to with Barack all these years.

    5. Anonymous @ 8:11, spot on.

Nothing in Bernie's intellectual symbol structure or his everyday life has prepared him to deal with a woman who is superior to him in brains, education, accomplishments, good looks, backbone, perseverance, taste, marriage to a power-spouse, and honest-to-God good intentions. Hillary's a lifelong progressive Methodist, in contrast to his lukewarm "I'm Jewish but not particularly religious" stance. (No definition given for not being particularly religious. He's trying to please everyone by being vague.) Swing and a miss, and a miss, and a miss. He's out. Forever and always. Good riddance.

Also look at his wife, who is a poser, a loser, yet she maintains a facade as an intellectual, in spite of running a New Age loosey-goosey college into the ground. She was not an asset to her hubby in the campaign. Just the opposite. Being overconfident cannot compensate for being a professional failure, getting your doctorate from a diploma mill, and being morbidly obese.

He'll go down in history, not as spawning a revolution, but as just another flash-in-the-pan political anomaly, like Lyndon LaRouche or Ross Perot--except they were at least rich.

Personally, I bear animosity toward Bernie Sanders because his crazed faux-benevolence cost me a treasured friendship with a young student which I may never be able to repair.

    Oh yeah he knows...
That's why he's staying in after meeting with Obama.
James Comey won't miss this time...
"In 1996, after months of work, Comey came to some damning conclusions: Hillary Clinton was personally involved in mishandling documents and had ordered others to block investigators as they pursued their case. Worse, her behavior fit into a pattern of concealment: she and her husband had tried to hide their roles in two other matters under investigation by law enforcement. Taken together, the interference by White House officials, which included destruction of documents, amounted to “far more than just aggressive lawyering or political naiveté,” Comey and his fellow investigators concluded. It constituted “a highly improper pattern of deliberate misconduct.”
