According to Mike Pence if Donald Trump is elected Roe vs Wade will be "consigned to the trash heap of history."

A new day is dawning ladies, and it's not one where your rights are respected.
Courtesy of the LA Times:

GOP vice presidential nominee Mike Pence on Thursday predicted Roe vs. Wade, the landmark Supreme Court ruling that legalized abortion, would be overturned if Donald Trump is elected president.

“I’m pro-life and I don’t apologize for it,” he said during a town hall meeting here. “We’ll see Roe vs. Wade consigned to the ash heap of history where it belongs.”

The comments — made in a conservative stronghold that strongly supported Texas Sen. Ted Cruz over Trump in the Michigan primary — were part of a broader argument Pence has been making on the stakes of the election: Voters need to consider that the next president will likely select multiple Supreme Court justices.

Pence said Trump would appoint strict constitutionalists in the mold of the late Justice Antonin Scalia.

“While we’re choosing a president for the next four years, this next president will make decisions that will impact our Supreme Court for the next 40,” he said. “… Go tell your neighbors and your friends, for the sake of the rule of law, for the sake of sanctity of life, for the sake of our 2nd Amendment, for the sake of all our other God-given liberties, we must insure the next president appointing justices to the Supreme Court is Donald Trump.”

Yet another reminder to the whiny little bitches thinking of voting third party or sitting this one out that the stakes could not be higher.

If you think you are "voting your conscience" by not voting for Hillary ask your conscience how it will feel if you skip this election, or flush your vote down the commode, and Trump's new Supreme Court appointees destroy a woman's right to choose.

I don't know about anybody else's conscience but mine would never stop punishing me.

What in Roe v. Wade would be turned out by a strict
Consitutionalist. Where in the Constitution is a woman's rights taken away?

Roe vs Wade was ruled on based on a women's right to privacy. They would fill the SC with judges that would rule on that life begins at conception, thus giving the fetus the right to life. Unfortunately it could be overturned and then take another 80 yrs to overturn it again( abortion was not illegal in the USA until the 1880's).

Women with the funds and leisure to travel to Canada or other countries will always have access to safe, private, legal abortions. The Constitution and Roe v. Wade only applies to women that can't afford to leave the US for an abortion.

Overturning Roe V. Wade would return us to an age when poor women used unsafe "back alley abortionists".

The only way to prevent an American women from getting an abortion is force them to pee on a stick at airports and border crossings and then forcing her to remain in country (with no Roe v. Wade) until she has either miscarried or birthed a baby. Even the "pro-lifers" aren't dumb enough to try to enforce that scenario.

Yes, only in the USA in 2016 are the Republicans still trying to take away the rights of women.

They still don't understand the concept of the Constitution is to grant rights not take them away.

If they win this election our voting rights will be next, can't take the chance another woman might run for president.

It is my wish that Pence could be vaginally raped and impregnated, forced to bear an unwanted baby with never having had the option to abort the violently forced pregnancy that he neither wanted or asked for. FUCK PENCE. AND all of his miserable controlling cronies. Other peoples pregnancies are none of ANYONE elses business. Abortion shouldn't be legislated anymore than heart surgery, weight reduction or chemotherapy. Our choices for medical treatment are PERSONAL. Period.

Well, I'd be fine with his wife getting him pregnant every year, including now that he'd be dealing with high-risk pregnancies with severe abnormalities and surely miscarrying too.

But he is definitely against abortion in cases of rape and incest, so I'll add that I would be okay if he had his first baby back when he was twelve or thirteen and his first children were also his siblings and cousins. Well, may as well throw in all other rape. He'd be happy to carry the fetuses, so why not.

Supposedly he can accept abortion to save the mother's life, but that's probably just so that he as a husband wouldn't get stuck raising the kids on his own and he'd have to do his own cooking and cleaning. Plus who'd he have sex with. A man's got needs and all.

Not only will a Trump/Pence presidency cause Rowe vs. Wade to be over turned, they will make sure the SCOTUS will enshrine fetal personhood into the laws of the land. ANY miscarriage, even those from the earliest days, will result in a criminal investigation of the woman who had it.

Also it is too bad that Donnie doesn’t read, I seem to recall Tricky Dick Nixon used the line 'No more Mr. Nice Guy’ way back in the 70’s. Plagiarism is a family affair.

Somebody’s got to say it, so I will. (Some) people don’t trust Hillary because right-wingers have launched an entire, lucrative publishing industry just making shit up about her. They are willing to spend ANY amount of American taxpayer dollars and waste thousands of hours of government time on NOTHING. Zero. Squat. Goose-egg city. Zzzzzzip.

Why would they spend all this time and effort demonizing Hillary Clinton? Because they are absolutely TERRIFIED that she will be a magnificent President. They are TERRIFIED she’ll appoint three to four Supreme Court Justices that will move the court to the left for the next 30 years. They are TERRIFIED that she will grow the Obama Prosperity, that she will produce millions of jobs, and that her personal popularity ratings will be so high in 2020 that the Democrats will win the house, and win the right to end outrageous Republican gerrymandering, ensuring a permanent majority for the new Democratic coalition.

Ever notice how Republican investigations of Hillary Clinton never produce any results? And never end? That’s the point. This isn’t journalism, it’s a reality television version of the X-Files. “Evil is out there. The fact we haven’t found it just proves how really evil Hillary is.” The investigations exist to provide a conga line of congresscritters to Fox News to mumble about “unanswered questions” and “getting to the bottom of things.” They are nakedly political attempts to smear a candidate that terrifies them because she is smart, qualified, and has a very good chance of being wonderful.

Here’s what I’m trying to say. Trust George Lakoff. Don’t argue with anybody about any right-wing garbage about Hillary. Helpfully point out that it’s ALL garbage. Lakoff advises:
