I think Hillary Clinton may have come up with the perfect slogan for this 2016 presidential race.

I mean sure it's no "We Can Do It" but it's still pretty damn good.

And considering the hatred that seems to pour from her opponent it certainly strikes the perfect contrast.

Don't you think?

Well, it IS timely. The word 'hate' shouldn't really be anywhere near her signature though.

Also it's going to be pretty easy for Trump supporters to throw in an apostrophe and end up with Love Trump's Hate, which is exactly what many of them use to nourish themselves.

And, 'Love' shouldn't be anywhere near dTrump's name.

Speaking of hatred pouring from people, when is the next Johnston scoop? And what's the latest on Todd's brother James?

Should have switched the colors on love and hate... it would have matched the party's colors brilliantly.

    1. That was my first thought, too. Red=Republican, blue=Democrat. Also red the color of anger, blue a peaceful color..somebody flubbed.

HIS slogan should be TRUMP HATES LOVE.

Perfect description. Honestly, my first grab at "Love Trumps Hate" was we should "Love Trump's Hate".
The word trump has come to mean the Donald these days, the original meaning didn't click right away.

And the punctuationally-challenged Trump supporters would adopt it as their own: "(I) love Trump's hate."

  7. The thing I kind of like about it is that the election becomes a binary choice. Which side are you on? Love or hate. I doubt if she'll plaster it everywhere; "Yes we can," wasn't the main theme of O's campaign. It was "Change we can believe in," I'm pretty sure. BTW, the documentary on Obama's 2008 race is on Netflix and definitely worth watching! I cried a little.

What do you mean "comes up with"? Bernie has been using this for quite a while. She might just as well take over his whole campaign.

5:35, I googled it and found Hillary said it in a speech in Dec., didn't see any thing about Bernie . .. http://www.imediaethics.org/love-trumps-hate-globe-and-mail-misquotes-hillary-clinton-tweet-on-donald-trump-muslim-ban/

Maybe she's woke up and realized the way she's going to win is running as Bernie.

Here is the source of the hate:

Trump’s Star Of David Anti-Semitic Attack On Clinton Came Directly From Neo-Nazis

  10. Obama's first was "Yes we can". And Hillary's one TRUMPS it. Big time! Pun intended, as Hillary's pun was definitely intended. I think a slogan like that will be memorable and reasonate with voters.

It's something else Clinton can thank Sanders for.

Sanders has been using the phrase "Love Trumps Hate" in his speeches since January.

Sanders has been talking about the working class, living wages, the middle class, etc. too. But no one paid attention until Clinton and Warren starting parroting him. Now they get the credit.

  13. I think not. The word love and Trump are too close together. Some people do not read to the end of the message. It is not strong enough. How about this, "Anyone who has been hired to work for Trump and is still waiting to be paid, please share your story."

Beats the hell out of "Make America Great Again", sounds like he was constipated for days and this is the best he could come up with. The best part is she uses his own name to dis him.

    Actually it's an awful slogan.

Ask anyone in PR or advertising.

First, you don't use your opponents name. Ever.

Second, for those that don't pay attention they hear Love Trump.

So, no. It's lousy and should be put to bed immediately.
