Paul Ryan accidentally reveals the problem with the Republican party's future in one selfie.

Courtesy of If You Only News:

GOP House Speaker Paul Ryan loves to pretend that the GOP doesn’t have a race problem. The 2012 autopsy report from the spectacular loss of the Romney/Ryan ticket to President Obama and Vice President Biden had a lot of so-called “minority outreach” goals. Clearly, none of those goals have been accomplished. After all, the current GOP standard-bearer, Donald Trump, has run a campaign that is steeped in racism. He kicked off his campaign by calling Mexican immigrants rapists and criminals, he has called for a ban on all Muslims entering the United States, has called women fat pigs and dogs, and accused Fox host and debate moderator Megyn Kelly of being menstrual when called out on this, and a whole host of other things that play to the bigotry that is so inherent in the current incarnation of the GOP.

All of that aside though, there is one very telling photo making the rounds on the internet that perfectly illustrates just how, well WHITE the Republican Party is, despite the wide range of diversity that makes up the actual country. It’s a priceless selfie of Paul Ryan showcasing himself with bunches of young republicans, and you won’t see one face of color in that grand sea of white.

Well I think this post is inherently unfair.

After all if you look three rows back there is clearly a person of Asian descent in the audience.

And there have to be a least a couple of Jewish people, right?

Okay well I tried, but clearly the Republican party is screwed.

      Joke of the Day:

Trump campaign’s response to Melanomia’s plagiarized speech: IT’S ALL HILLARY’S FAULT cuz she is jealous!!!

“To think that she would be cribbing Michelle Obama's words is crazy. This is once again an example of when a woman threatens Hillary Clinton, how she seeks out to demean her and take her down. It's not going to work.”

    3. Yeah, they defended Melanoma's plagiarism by saying Hillary attacks strong women.

They also said (and this sounds exactly like Trump) that Melania delivered the speech better.

So I guess you can steal as long as your presentation is better? Wow, too bad George Harrison couldn't have used that for My Sweet Lord.

It saddens me to see so many young people latching onto the GOP. I expect young people to be idealists.

    White plagiarists too -

Manafort, however, says it wasn't plagiarized - that it's just common words that everyone uses LOL

""The Trump organization, whether it’s Paul Manafort or anyone all the way up to Donald Trump himself, any time they are caught red handed, engaging in distortions, inaccuracies, a fact pattern that is clearly not accurate, they blame someone else," Wasserman Schultz said.

“Melania's team of writers took notes on her life’s inspirations, and in some instances included fragments that reflected her own thinking."

      Common PARAGRAPHS?

They lifted entire paragraphs. Not just words or phrases. Whole sentences. I saw a yellow highlighted section on the news. That would get you expelled from some universities. Fail on the paper, Fail on the class and then expulsion for violation of the code of ethics policies. It's plagiarism and it is indefensible.

I would like to add a bit about the presentation. I understand how Melania maybe didn't have much inflection as it is her her second language (never mind she's been in this country 20 years.) What gets me is the lack of facial expression. Is the woman infected with permanent Botox all over her face? Blade Runner replicants had more facial expression.

Wrong, Gryph. This crowd is VERY diverse. Check out the women -- they are NOT all blondes.

It's Where's Waldo, the Diversity Version. Whoa-- I just spotted another Asian! Ooh, and an Indian (the four-armed elephant kind). And yet another Asian! This convention is a goddamn Jay-Z video!

There is one young person of color, right side of the picture. Find the woman in blue, standing in front of the door (?) or panel, count five to the left. Voila! Proof that the R's are inclusive, and beloved in the African-American community.

"This 'old white people' business does get a little tired, Charlie," King said. "I'd ask you to go back through history and figure out, where are these contributions that have been made by these other categories of people that you're talking about, where did any other subgroup of people contribute more to civilization?"

"Than white people?" Hayes asked, clearly amazed.

"Than, than Western civilization itself," King replied. "It's rooted in Western Europe, Eastern Europe and the United States of America and every place where the footprint of Christianity settled the world. That's all of Western civilization."

Reading alot of comments on stories about Trump, I noticed that the hate is getting stronger, and the words are getting bolder. More and more haters are actually calling people to their facebook face racial names. I won's repeat them because they are disgusting but it's scary. If the KKK types feel threatened they can get really mean. I mean Donald either knows, or doesn't that he is their grand marshall in many ways. We need a leader who will not pronounce these differences we've always had as a nation. These differences that made us unique as a nation.

Well, Charles Darwin wasn't wrong. The strongest will survive. But I think I read that diversity was good too. That in order for a species to survive diversity gave it a better pecking order. Hmmm. Wonder, if Donald wins, will we have a world of albinos to come. A pure blood. I bet that's what all that Judeo Christian stuff is huh? To indoctrinate minds into a belief system that orders one God, one way of thinking, etc. etc. Hey! It's a master plan! A world with no color. One way of thinking. A world with nothing but dickwads. Count me out.

This was AFTER the "autopsy" of what went wrong last time. They needed to expand the base, appeal to more african americans, minorities, women etc, etc. etc.

    It's all downhill, GOP.
