The most powerful Hillary Clinton ads are the ones that let Donald Trump write most of the dialogue.

I'm not going to lie, that actually got me choked up a little.

When my daughter was born I promised her I would to everything in my power to make this world a better and safer place for her to live.

It seems that we have all failed so often to meet our promises to our children, but in this election I will be doing my best to keep it once again.

And she will be standing right beside me to do her part as well.

Trump will attack claiming he never said any of that.

    1. It must have been that John Miller guy. Yeah, that's the ticket.

  2. Anonymous5:20 AM

Trump has given Hillary more than enough ammo for ads. Go get 'em, girl!

  3. Anonymous5:33 AM

Yes, a v effective ad and for the right reasons.

  4. Anonymous5:56 AM

    He is scary.

  5. Trump is rising in the polls. There is a distinct possibility he will become president. The GOP is pretty much standing behind him, cowards they are. Very sad and very frightening. The Rumsfield endorsement really hurts Hilary. A number of military in the fence are going with this.

    1. The military is going to follow the lead of Donald Rumsfeld?

That may be the dumbest thing I will hear all day.

" It’s something stranger. Words become for Rumsfeld his own way to regain control over reality and history as he feels it slipping away."

This always happens at the time of a convention. The Trump Love Fest starts Monday.

    4. Thanks for the heads-up, 7:15. I adore Erroll Morris and somehow missed that film.

Broke Deadbeat Donald Trump Whines About Hillary Clinton Having Money for Ads

Pence says the heroes of his youth were JFK and MLK. Wow has he ever strayed off Sanity Path. Now he's on Crazy Road. Pathetic. He like many other Republicans have no moral fortitude - anything and anyone for the win. Sick.

    1. Anonymous2:08 PM

Pence is lying through his teeth if he's saying that he admired JKF and MLK in his youth. He did not become the pride of the Koch brothers and one of the gubernatorial Tea Party club over night. He doesn't believe in science either - he thinks smoking isn't dangerous to one's health, rejects climate change and evolution. What elementary school science teacher was mean to him?

"Trump went on a rambling rant about Hillary Clinton, “She a corrupt person, and what she’s done with the emails, and what she’s done with other things, and I see the ads up all the time, the ads. She’s totally bought and paid for by Wall Street, the special interests, the lobbyists. One hundred percent. She’s crooked Hillary. And I think that while she got away with murder.”"

Trump Shuns Mike Pence By Introducing His VP Then Running Off Stage

Donald Trump spoke for 28 minutes, while barely mentioning Pence. After Trump had introduced his running mate, he hightailed it off stage and did not even stand beside his VP choice while he was speaking.

After nearly 30 minutes of incoherent rambling about everything other than Pence, Trump finally got around to letting Pence talk, and then this happened:

Trump Just Accused Hillary Clinton Of Murder During Disastrous Mike Pence Announcement

What was supposed to be Mike Pence’s big moment on the national stage was the Donald Trump show, as Trump hijacked the announcement of his own VP nominee by accusing Hillary Clinton of murder.

Trump’s announcement of Pence has been nothing short of a chaotic disaster that is likely not to give Republicans the slightest bump in the polls.

It’s like a day doesn’t go by without some backwoods, right-wing jackass threatening the life of the President. This latest example of the toxic environment comes from Sarah Palin’s neck of the woods. As the half-term former Governor of Alaska struggles to keep her precious little snowflake Track, Trick, Truffle, or whatever his name is, from facing repercussions for a violent attack on his girlfriend earlier this year after Obama’s PTSD forced him to beat a lady and issue threats with a loaded firearm, an Anchorage firefighter is facing his own tribulations related to the evil dictator in the White House.

Donald Baker of the Anchorage Fire Department was suspended after issuing threats to the President on social media. The controversy began when a reader sent a screenshot of the remark to WHAS11. Under an article titled “Obama Hijacks Memorial With Sick Message” (apparently from right-wing garbage pile America’s Freedom Fighters), Baker wrote that someone should “please put a bullet in this f*cker’s head,” referring to “worthless piece of sh*t” Obama:

Elizabeth Warren Is Going OFF On Trump’s Pick Of Mike Pence, And It’s Magical (TWEETS)

...Warren brilliantly stated, as she does, in an epic tweetstorm:

“Donald Trump and Mike Pence are a perfect match: Two small, insecure, weak men who use hate and fear to divide our country and our people. Of COURSE Donald Trump – a guy who calls women fat pigs & bimbos – picked a VP who is famous for trying to control women’s bodies.

What’s worse? Donald Trump and Mike Pence’s sexism isn’t some radical fringe of the GOP. They’re in line with the party platform. The GOP platform is the most anti-choice ever: defund Planned Parenthood and denounce all abortion. Even cases of rape, incest and woman’s potential death.

And OF COURSE Donald Trump – a guy who “[doesn’t] feel good” about marriage equality – picked a VP famous for LGBT discrimination.

The GOP platform says overturn marriage equality & it supports parents putting their LGBT children through conversion therapy. Disgusting.

The GOP platform even says that children not from “natural marriage” are more likely to be drug addicts. Hateful AND disgusting.

Terrifying to thing of Mike Pence being a heartbeat from presidency – but the direction [the GOP] wants to take our country is MORE terrifying.”

    There's hope still, Gryphen!

Clinton Veepstakes: Guess whose name just disappeared from the official DNC speaker’s schedule?

  16. Anita Winecooler5:03 PM

Gryph, I got choked up as well, I was pregnant at the time we started sending troops to Kuwait and vividly remember apologizing to a clump of cells in my uterus that this wasn't the world I envisioned leaving her to. I didn't just say it, I felt it down in the marrow of every bone to the point my doctor was concerned about depression setting in. Luckily it didn't, we're left to make the most of things beyond our control. Ironically, it was Fred Rogers who put it in perspective for me.
That baby girl graduated, got a scholarship, and is now married with the same concerns I had, but she's not expecting yet.

Don't feed the trolls!
It just goes directly to their thighs.
