This is what it would look like if every woman in the country would refuse to vote for Donald Trump.

Courtesy of Daily Kos:

From Nate Silver: Exclusive @FiveThirtyEight projection on what the Electoral College would look like if women refuse to vote Trump.

Boy do I suddenly feel completely unnecessary.

I swear that if the women actually did this, and even turned Alaska blue, that I would be their slave forever.

Not that I haven't always been but still.

I wish this would happen, but I know several women in my area of Wisconsin who are voting for Trump. They are right-wing Christian and believe he will appoint conservative judges who will overturn Roe vs. Wade. And they believe he will only be a 1-term president and so won't harm the country too much. I know it's crazy and nothing I say will change their mind. Nothing Trump says or does changes their minds either.

I cannot imagine any woman voting for Trump. I know they're out there but they have to be dumb as rocks. i also cannot imagine anyone with any kind of religious bent voting for Trump. But I know they're out there too. Unfortunately. I'd just love to see that electoral map go all blue this November!

    2. Though I wouldn't vote for Trump with a gun to my head, I have to give him credit for one thing: he's the first GOP presidential candidate in living memory who doesn't even bother with a pretense that he believes in any god but money.

At this point, and unlike Bush, Romney & McCain, if Trump tried to feign any sort of piety or humility, it would be his funniest moment, ever.

And, as Evangelicals increasingly drift toward the thrice-wed vulgarian, the hollowness of their own proclaimed devotion is unmasked.

The only women I have met who intend to vote for Trump are the uneducated white racist ones, and I live in a solid republican neighborhood.

I know many from my uber-Catholic college (fallen away to agnosticism, myself), who could be said to have a very good classical education-- Latin, Greek, the great books, math, history of science, Ph.D lecturers.

They would never vote for Hillary because 1)she is pro-choice, and 2)Aristotle, St.Paul, and Thomas Aquinas all say that it is against nature for a woman to be in authority over a man.

They all homeschool, too-they say they want their children to see reality the way THEY see reality.

So. There you go. Educated, or "un"? Dangerous, is what I'd call them.

I went to Catholic elementary school until 7th grade when I insisted on transferring to public school. One of my classmates from those years sent me a friend request on Facebook and I accepted.

I have since blocked her posts because she is one of the ultra-religious hypocrites who rails against immigrants (never mind that her grandparents came to this country from Italy). She lives in NM and particularly hates Mexicans. She detests President Obama (not that it has ANYthing to do with his color, of course) and recently claimed that Hillary is "determined to be the first Lez president." She complains about people receiving government assistance and has lots of nasty remarks about Black Lives Matter. She promises to do everything she can to put Trump in the White House.

While claiming to be such a devout Christian, she is one of the most intolerant, racist, angry people I know. I've seen comments on her page from other former classmates who seem to agree with most of what she says. Just more confirmation that getting far away from the Catholic church was the right thing for me to do!

The funniest thing about your obsession with Gryphen re women is that you constantly lie in wait to jump on every post minutes after it goes up. One would expect a mentally and emotionally heathy person to just stay away from blogs that aren't to her taste. Can almost picture you crouching in the dark, sweating, smelling like cat pee and breathing heavily, as you wait for the next post.

As a fellow healthy male, it doesn't escape me when Gryphen slips in a bit of bragging or swagger. And, so what? He's has some conquests and some failures like we all do. He's also a brave blogger and that doesn't happen without some healthy ego too.

I'm convinced the man is good, or I wouldn't have visited here for nearly five years now. Brains, like hearts, go where they're appreciated.

How come Sarah Palin stopped campaigning for Donald Trump? Sarah Palin pretty much disappeared from the face of the earth if it wasn't for Facebook.

  4. Funny you should put this style of post just now.

Masochist that I am, I was just doing a little recent research of my pretty but dumb northern neck Virginia county.

In 2008 - with a county population of 23.5 thousand as of 2010 - with 10,361 people voting, McCain/Palin beat Obama/Biden by 13% (bad enough but not worst in the state.)

    Come 2012, with 11,287 individuals voting, Romney/Ryan beats Obama/Biden by 18%.

In 2013's gubernatorial race, with 6,654 voters, gay-hating creature Ken Cuccinelli, beat Terry McAuliffe by 25%.

33 year since leaving New Jersey for the land of Robert E. Lee, and I've really landed in the seat of the South's fuckin' intelligentsia didn't I?

Virginia will go to Hillary, same as Maryland. I also study the exit polls to see what district where go republican.

I'll never forget the results of the April 26, 2016 republican presidential primary in the states of Maryland, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Delaware and Pennsylvania.

Here is a link from Nate Silver on that primary.
      http://fivethirtyeight.com/live-blog/april-26-primaries-presidential-election-2016/

In summary, Trump won big, all five states and every district and county in all five states. This was while Cruz and Kasich were STILL IN THE RACE.

In conclusion, all republicans everywhere are either stupid or lost their minds.

I grew up in a small redneck town in Virginia, geographically close to DC but demographically as far as one could get.

All I can say is that it prepared me well for living in Wasilla, Alaska. I know these people, I grew up with these people and I swear to god they are the same damn people, the only difference is longer winters and bigger scenery ;-)

Speaking of women voters and the one wonan voter who loves her her Trump, has Sarah gone back to Arizona yet to help her sugar daddy, John McCain in his 200th bid for reelection? Last time, McCain was having trouble convincing teahadists to vote for him. Along came the teahadists' favorite derp drip, Palin, to tell them that 'he's one of us.' But since McCain the 'never was a maverick' has publicly criticized Trump, I'm wondering if lust has done turned to crust for Sarah and John???

It is worth mentioning that August 31 is a huge primary day for Arizona and Florida. Here is a link to see when the primaries are/will be held. There are other primaries August 9 that will be well-worth watching.

Ol Scratch will be speechifying about Neylen taking down Paul Ryan in Wisconsin.

      Stay tuned.

If I could argue in defense of the Khans, it was the DNC who gave them a voice.

The Trump campaign has done nothing to help them have a voice. Quite the opposite, actually.

Anybody see Joy Reid of "AM Joy" takedown Steve Cortes, Trump PR spokesman? Joy Reid took him and the other quack, Trump's Muslim outreach spokesperson, to the mat simultaneously and did not let up.

Joy's last comment was "Your closing argument is going to be Guantanamo, Really?.

It would be nice if all females voted with their BRAINS.

Unfortunately dRUMPf has appealed to their primitive instincts of fear and tribalism. The fundies will hold their noses and vote for him on one or 2 statements he's made, and disregard all the rest. Against their best interests.

Women who have been displaced from lucrative jobs and are now working at Walmart seem to hate Obama(who is NOT responsible), and will vote for dRUMPf. They see Hilary as an extension of of what they hate. They will emotionally do so against their best interests.

Many see only the ads framing Hilary as a monster, and those claiming that don the con feels their pain. I know 2 in the displaced worker category in blue New England, who WILL vote for cheeto jeebus. They refuse to listen to the negatives about the orange orangutan.

It is difficult for women to go with the brain entirely and disregard appeals to their feelings. But it must be done for the good of the country.

Said by a woman who has been voting with her brain for nearly 50 years.
