Donald Trump claims that Putin will not go into the Ukraine when in fact he already has, then decides to go on Twitter and make it even worse.

This is what I know about international affairs.
Courtesy of CNN:

Donald Trump said Sunday that Russian President Vladimir Putin won't make a military move into Ukraine -- even though Putin already has done just that, seizing the country's Crimean Peninsula.

"He's not going into Ukraine, OK, just so you understand. He's not going to go into Ukraine, all right? You can mark it down. You can put it down. You can take it anywhere you want," Trump said in an interview with ABC's George Stephanopoulos on "This Week."

"Well, he's already there, isn't he?" Stephanopoulos responded, in a reference to Crimea, which Putin took from Ukraine in early 2014.

Trump said: "OK -- well, he's there in a certain way. But I'm not there. You have Obama there. And frankly, that whole part of the world is a mess under Obama with all the strength that you're talking about and all of the power of NATO and all of this. In the meantime, he's going away. He takes Crimea."

I have no idea what he was even trying to say there.

After several news outlets reported on his ignorance, and he was mocked mercilessly on the internet, Trump turned to Twitter.

Actually no that is not even close to what he said.

What he said was "He's not going into the Ukraine, OK just so you understand. He's not going to go into Ukraine, all right? You can mark it down."

ABC did not even have to "mark it down" because Stephanopoulis already knew just like every informed individual, that Russia has already invaded the Ukraine.

Trump is a laughingstock not, just in America, but all over the world.

And of the troglodytes that don't follow anything except maybe a little fixed noise, they don't know AND they don't care. This is a dangerous time in America when ignorance is celebrated and strongmen with time penises and yuuge fake balls are elevated.

He showed once again how he knows nothing and then he tried covering it up.

There were a few different old clips shown over the weekend where Trump had talked about having a relationship with Putin, and this morn I saw yet another one that I'd not seen before and in it he was very clear when saying to the interviewer that he and Putin were on speaking terms. But of course now he's denying a relationship. I guess, too, he thinks he never said what he did.

Waiting on a Columbus rally, his first since Friday when he was so ticked about the many thousands of people being kept out by the fire marshal. He talked to reporters, they say, a little bit ago in the hall and refused to say anything re the Knans and he complained that this fans are not being allowed inside and that it's politically motivated--yet again, he ignores that there are laws limiting the # of people in rooms.

In an ABC interview Donnie went on and on that Bloomberg has no right to criticize him because they have never met.

When George said but didn't you play golf with him. Trump responded

Yes, I am a better golfer and I beat him.

That is not the mind of a well person.

omg. trump just said that he tried to get the white house to let him build a one hundred million dollar ball room there, and the white house turned him down. he's ranting about it, as if the white house did something terrible in saying no. he would have had all these architects come up with designs and choose the best one, he said. like, the white house should be reconfigured because trump says so?

    wtf???!!

It's an idea he floated in the past to David Axelrod to pass on to Pres Obama and the White House laughed it off--Trump was just being a salesman again, and of course he wanted (so desperate!)some kind of connection to the WH. Today he tried connecting the ballroom idea to jobs, insinuating that because the current president won't let him build a ballroom, the pres is preventing new jobs.

The Republican Convention Just Set A New Record

Most Americans say the RNC turned them against Donald Trump.

This year’s Republican National Convention was the first in at least 30 years to leave the public less likely to support a presidential nominee, according to a Gallup poll released Monday.

About half of Americans polled said they’re less likely to vote for GOP nominee Donald Trump based on what they saw or read about the RNC. Only 36 percent said they’re more likely to vote for Trump.

That gives the event an overall net -15 point effect, marking the first time a convention has left a negative impression in a Gallup poll on the subject.

By contrast, 41 percent of Americans said the Democratic National Convention made them less likely to support Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, while 45 percent said it made them more likely to do so, resulting in a net +4 point effect.

Trump melts down in the Hotel Roanoke, literally

And, in the biggest room in the finest hotel in Roanoke, along with at least 1,600 chanting and cheering Trumpeteers, the candidate trained his attention-deficit-disordered thoughts on a purely apolitical topic: The room was too hot.

He whined and whined about The Hotel Roanoke’s air conditioning. No kidding.

“I think this ballroom and the people who run this hotel should be ashamed,” Trump told the crowd. “I think it’s actually cooler outside than it is in this damn ballroom.” (It wasn’t.)

He boasted there were 1,000 people standing outside on the Wells Avenue side in 104-degree heat, listening to him on loudspeakers. (There weren’t; there were at most 50, according to a city firefighter who was outside, and the temperature never hit 100.)

Bless his heart... Can you imagine living with such tiny hands? Can you imagine the simple acts of daily life such as handling cutlery or grasping a standard doorknob when your fingers look like sewing thimbles? Lies from Fox News are like death and taxes. They’re inevitable. So when Steve Doocy and Brian Kilmeade say that an RNC speech from Patricia Smith, whose son was killed in the Benghazi attack was not covered by any networks, but everybody covered Khizr Khan’s, you have to look at the facts.

First, here is the big lie:

Patricia Smith was on MSNBC today (Meet the Press Daily) and was shown the utmost respect. This woman, I think, has some issues that are about more than having lost her son. It was evident on the night she spoke at the convention and was evident today. Sincerely, I believe this. She seems unstable and not only emotional because, like with Mrs. Khan, it's an upsetting topic. She comes across as obsessed with Hillary and as unable to be considered reliable when she says something, like that Hillary said she'd get back to her but didn't. She seems to need to live in a state of some disbelief and won't let herself accept what is. I just am unable to take this woman's word for things. Her son had a wife (and two young kids) and the mother has remained adamant that she is the one who should be talked to some more and given more and all info related to her son--but Sean's wife is the one who is his immediate family member, and it is up to her to share things with her mother-in-law. I did a search today to see if Sean's wife Heather had been speaking out at all since his death. I didn't see anything after 2013 on the subject. If she took issue with what happened and thought she was being lied to or at least not told everything, surely there'd be info online.

Found this article regarding Sean smith and also a wife-versus-DIL seeming issue, plus Sean's wife Heather is satisfied with the information she was given by the State Dept. and the article also points out that Sean was quite liberal. He and his wife had been together quite a while and had been living in the Netherlands, and before that places like Japan and South Africa. He was an adult with a life that involved a wife and kids and not living in San Diego with his mother (I don't know if his father is alive or married to Patricia now). I feel for this woman, but she needs to find something else to do with her life now.
