New polls show Clinton surging past the 270 electoral votes she needs to win this election.

Courtesy of NBC:

After releasing our seven battleground-state polls last week -- and seeing several other state surveys -- we've updated our NBC battleground map. The states in Hillary Clinton's column now add up to 288 electoral votes, which exceeds the 270 needed to win the presidency. Donald Trump, meanwhile, is at 174 electoral votes, and an additional 76 are in the Tossup category. Our last map, back in July, showed Clinton with a 255-190 advantage — so Clinton's tally has gone up since the conventions, while Trump's has declined.

Among those polls is one from Siena College which shows that Hillary is going to destroy Trump in his home state of New York.

Courtesy of Syracuse.com:

Hillary Clinton has widened her lead to 30 points over Donald Trump among New York voters, dominating a state Trump has vowed to make competitive in the 2016 presidential race, according to a new poll published Monday.

It was the first Siena College poll in New York since the Republican and Democratic national conventions last month, and mirrors a trend showing gains by Clinton in national polls over the past two weeks.

Clinton has surged in the Empire State since a Siena College poll in June showed she had a 23-point lead over Trump, 54-31 percent.

Clinton, the former two-term New York senator, now leads Trump in his home state by 57-27 percent in the new poll.

Damn! That's gonna leave a mark.

And don't forget, these are the people who know Trump the best.

As for those young Bernie supporters? Oh yeah,  she has their vote as well:

Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton is consolidating the support of the Millennials who fueled Bernie Sanders' challenge during the primaries, a new USA TODAY/Rock the Vote Poll finds, as Republican Donald Trump heads toward the worst showing among younger voters in modern American history.

The survey shows Clinton trouncing Trump 56%-20% among those under 35, though she has failed so far to generate the levels of enthusiasm Sanders did — and the high turn-out that can signal — among Millennials.

Once again remember, I share this information to help you to sleep at night and to give you hope.

But that in NO way means this election is in the bag and EVERY SINGLE one of us need to turn out and vote or none of this means a damn thing.

Those are 174 electoral votes on the map. Red states with people too stupid to recognize a con man when he's stealing the gold from their teeth.

"His latest gaffes over the Gold Star Khan family, his “2nd Amendment people” threat, and claiming President Obama is the “founder of Isis” appear to have crossed a very critical non-partisan line, offending not just liberals and Democrats, but military families, patriots and decent people of both parties. In short, at this late stage in the race, he’s doing the exact opposite of what he should be doing."

Trump's Islamic State address: Fact or fiction?

The GOP nominee had a hit-and-miss relationship with the truth while laying out his plan to defeat the terrorist group.

    Trump's new normal

The floundering Republican nominee packs his foreign policy speech with go-to half-truths and divisive policy ideas.

Monday’s speech was riddled with the contradictions that have characterized Trump’s campaign from the get-go. But with Trump having dug himself into so deep a hole before the fall campaign has even begun — largely as a result of controversies driven by his own embellishments, misstatements and aggressive rhetoric that have become his new normal — Monday’s performance was a harsh reminder for the GOP about the depths to which his campaign has sunk.

"The singular thing I conclude with certainty is that Trump is at his best when he is awful."
" I was seized by the notion of Trump as an intrusive, omnipresent and terrible-to-behold mirror image of what I think of as America’s worst public face. In his bullying, aggressive, materialistic, racist and totally unreflective poses, he is what the world must see as the worst side of America’s greatness. No wonder Putin may indeed wish to help Trump win."
Somewhere in our unconscious, if not our consciousness, we even feel that life on the planet is in danger of extinction."<TRUE
"“Get ’em outta here” is Trump’s promise to the faithful in protecting the country against further injury and decline. It is the foundational defensive premise of his campaign. Defend, bully and attack — this is what Trump does best."

"Even if Hillary sincerely intends to raise taxes on rich Americans in order to pay for universal child care, affordable higher education, and infrastructure spending, the moneyed interests have the clout to stop her.

They’ll also resist any effort to raise the federal minimum wage to $12 an hour, require employers to offer paid family leave, or push them to share their profits with employees.

The heart of American politics is now a vicious cycle in which big money has enough political influence to get laws and regulations that make big money even bigger, and prevent laws and rules that threaten its wealth and power.

Before Hillary can accomplish anything important, that vicious cycle has to be reversed. But how?"

"So where can Hillary look for the countervailing power she’ll need to get the progressive changes she says she wants?

The most promising source of a new countervailing power in America was revealed in Bernie Sanders’s primary campaign: millions of citizens determined to reclaim American democracy and the economy from big money."

"Organizers from the Sanders campaign have already launched Brand New Congress, an ambitious effort to run at least 400 progressive candidates for Congress in 2018, financed by crowd-sourced small donations and led by a nationwide network of volunteers. Sanders himself recently announced the formation of “Our Revolution,” to support progressive candidates up and down the ticket."

"The pragmatist in her must know that the only way her ideas will make it in real life is if the public is organized and mobilized behind them.

Which means that once she enters the Oval Office, she’ll need the countervailing power of a progressive movement — ironically, much like the one her primary opponent championed."

Trump Blames Bad Poll Numbers on Existence of Numerical System

...In sometimes rambling remarks at an outdoor rally in Ohio, the Republican Presidential nominee called the numerical system “rigged” and unleashed a torrent of abuse on numbers themselves, calling them “disgusting” and “the lowest form of life.”

“It’s why I won’t release my taxes,” he said. “They’re full of goddam numbers.”

While Republican candidates in the past have attempted to exploit their supporters’ distrust of math, Trump is believed to be the first nominee to call into question the numerical system itself.

Behind the scenes, G.O.P. insiders fretted that, in attacking the very existence of numbers, Trump was veering wildly off message.

“He should be talking about Hillary Clinton, and instead he’s going off on integers,” one insider said.

Not only are the numbers rigged, they are written in Arabic numbers. It's obvious an infiltration of our financial system by the unwashed hordes who want to bring our great country down.

Someone who has a tinfoil hat connection with Trump headquarters, please pass this vital information to them so they can fight against it.

"Rival bidder BP-Metropolitan Investors, LLC, a consortium that included Hilton Hotels, angrily appealed the GSA's decision to award the property to Trump, noting that the real estate mogul couldn't possibly deliver on the terms of his proposal."
"BPM warned in its complaint, "when the Trump revenues promised to GSA are found to be unachievable, the GSA and U.S. taxpayers will be left with an unrealistic economic model and another failed attempt to redevelop the Old Post Office. GSA and the U.S. taxpayers will have no choice but to 'trade out' the unrealistic 'great deal' it was promised for the far more pedestrian or even more disastrous outcome when it is taken back in default.""Washington Post columnist Steven Pearlstein noted in 2012 that "none of the other experienced bidders came anywhere close to [Trump's] numbers—and for good reason: They make no economic sense."But Trump isn't just a real estate developer. He's potentially the boss of the very agency his company would be negotiating with. The GSA did not respond to a request for comment about how it would handle a conflict-of-interest issue if Trump becomes president."Jessica Tillipman, a law professor at George Washington University who specializes in government ethics, said the Old Post Office deal poses a massive conflict of interest for a President Trump."
