Well there's a screech that I have not missed one little bit.
I was worried I might have to transcribe it since it is way too early to start drinking, but fortunately the Wall Street Journal took the bullet:
Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, one of the first prominent Republicans to endorse Donald Trump‘s presidential campaign, warned Thursday of “massive disappointment” among the GOP nominee’s supporters if he continues to soften his immigration policies.
“If Mr. Trump were to go down a path of wishy-washy positions taken on things that the core foundation of his support has so appreciated, and that is respecting our Constitution and respecting law and order in America, then yeah, there would be massive disappointment,” Mrs. Palin, the Republican nominee for vice president in 2008, said in a telephone interview with the Wall Street Journal. “Parts of that message we heard in the last week are clearly not consistent with the stringent position and message that supporters have received all along.”
“The focus needs to be not on whether an illegal immigrant is a good person or a bad person but how sustainable it is to incentivize illegal immigrants to come over our borders,” Mrs. Palin said.
“What we appreciate about Trump is that he hasn’t been a politician, and I would hope the people around him are not influencing him to be a typical politician,” Mrs. Palin said. “As in all campaigns and administrations you have people who try to mold and meld and massage that candidate or that administrator to become something that they want, as opposed to what is in the core of that candidate or that administrator. That’s why the candidate or administrator has to have a backbone of steel.”
Mrs. Palin said she expects Mr. Trump to clarify his position, “leaving no doubt that he’s as strong against illegal immigration as he was to start with.”
Wow! When you are in danger of losing the original Trump Tramp, you know are thin ice.
Let's face it, Trump's main support comes from that under educated racist fringe of the conservative movement that Palin first pulled out of the pucker brush by spouting incoherent word salad and carbonating their hormones with her naughty librarian image back in 2008.
She is for all intents and purposes the lunatic canary in the coal mine.
If she is lying on the bottom of her cage choking on Trump's sudden reasonableness then you know his fringe right wing supporters are doing the same.
Sarah is right! I went in McDonalds and they gave me a free happy meal when I said I was an illegal immigrant.
ReplyDeleteSarah, above all others, should know that Trump's sudden softening of position on immigration is merely pandering for votes. Nothing in his agenda has changed, really. He's the same old racist and bigoted Donald we've all come to know and loathe.
ReplyDeleteHe did NOT soften. He just changed a few words.
DeleteKatrina
Best part of this? The Wall Street Journal called Sarah "Mrs." not Governor or former Governor.
DeleteProgress, at last.
I haven't seen any softening.
DeleteI've only seen him taking verbal polls during speeches.
Of course that "productive for 20 years" bullshit is convenient if it turns out Melanomia was in the country from 1995.
I want someone to prove she was his mistress for two years before his separation with Marla.
Republicans don't take kindly to serial adulterers who marry illegal aliens and then want to be president.
@10:40 -- no, they don't "take kindly", they just say it is a Liberal plot to discredit their champion.
DeleteIMHO, there is NOTHING that could be exposed (or proved outright) that will stop his hard-core supporters from voting for him, twice if need be... even his flip-flopping on immigration. They are past mere "words" from anyone, including Trump.
Even his tax report: bankrupt? So what, he's even more like us!
WHEN SARAH PALIN SUPPORTED AMNESTY “There is no way that in the U.S. we would round up every illegal immigrant — there are about 12 million of the illegal immigrants — not only economically is that just an impossibility but that’s not a humane way anyway to deal with the issue that we face with illegal immigration,” Palin said.
ReplyDeleteWhen asked if she supported “a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants,” Palin responded that she did. https://www.buzzfeed.com/andrewkaczynski/when-sarah-palin-supported-amnesty?utm_term=.sweOdvL4L#.hfdRK1pNp
That is ancient history. Sarah stands with this loyal Trump supporter. If Trump breaks wall promise
Deletehttp://www.rawstory.com/2016/08/watch-spooky-caller-stuns-glenn-beck-by-threatening-to-go-after-trump-if-he-breaks-wall-promise/
Trump has a cannon that will shoot immigrants from Seattle or Boston all the way to Mexico City.
DeleteTo make it humane, he will sell each of them a parachute for $100.
Right, why hold her to her own "words" she hasn't changed her mind, she's just changed her words. (h/t 5 finger discount)
DeleteIs Trump softening or hardening today? Too gross to fully imagine.
DeleteSarah's softening him or trying to harden him. Lol.
Delete46 words in that first undecipherable rant. Just why is the WSJ calling Sarah Palin? Was Coulter not available? Sweet and smart Kellyanne? Or bullet wearing Katrina?
ReplyDeleteInteresting how Trump chooses three woman without four brain cells between them to speak for him. I thought brilliant and lovely Ivanka was going to do that? Or are there more creepy shots of her and daddy dearest out there?
Sorry, Sarah, but you've been trumped, just like 30% of America and falling. Donnie is nothing like what he says. Not as rich. Not as smart. And certainly not the least bit honest. Don't worry, he'll veer back to his unworkable "deport 11 million people now!" proclamations today probably. After all, he can't lose YOU as a supporter. Where would you go with your $5000 PAC contribution?
SallyinMI
Trump has the best words. But Sarah and Palin aren't two of them.
DeleteBecause she's the go-to authority on everything. Tell me again why anyone should listen to this low IQed, white trash loser?
ReplyDeleteAs I essentially explained in the post low IQed white trash losers make up Trump's base of support, and she is their queen.
DeleteQueen of White Trash indeed! Man it stinks!
DeleteYes of course, How can that holy T bag rapture agenda come to fruitation? All that plotting and planning! That pledge to promote division, hate, chaos. To unfund and destroy America. To get revenge on enemies. All out the window if trump does not comply and succeed. Damn. Life is a crazy creepy controlling rapture witch stirring the eye of newt soup and speaking sour pussy.
ReplyDeleteYeah it kind of blew up her plans! Hey Sarah!
DeleteA vile ,vicious ,base level human being that was rightfully dismissed by the electorate from aspiring to a national role. But we have to put up with her till the reminder of her looks give out and mental disease fully incapacitates her.
ReplyDeleteOr until the next family brawl, when someone will get shot. All those guns around, all the booze and drugs, all that dysfunction. Someone will not make it out alive.News of the birthday brawl got out, if there is a shooting they will not be able to cover that up. Fitting end to Alaska's Annie Oakley.
Delete7:11: especially this time around, since DumbkotAH is part of the famdamnily, and he always carries!
DeleteWhen is TwoToned Toad's birthday? Isn't it coming up soon?
Hillary is playing chess by tying him tighter to the bigots and white supremacists. You notice how they think it's wonderful they are being recognized. That will make them louder. They have not a clue what the overall strategy is here. Trump doesn't play chess. He stumbles about on the checkers board leaving dollops of poop here and there all the while puffing his chest out.
ReplyDeletedrumpf thinks he'll say "king me"! BUT who will never wear the crown in his checkers game.
Deletehttp://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/hillary-clinton-alt-right_us_57bf3d8be4b04193420e2d3d?
Oh, Miss Quittypants is butt hurt! That's what Trump gets for telling the world that Palin would not be at the Republican convention because she lives "too far away." I'll also bet he isn't taking her calls either.
ReplyDeleteAnd we all know that Sarah never forgets a slight - ever. This has nothing to do with immigration; this is all about Sarah who "will not be ignored!"
I'm not a religious person. However, I'm praying he retaliates against her.
DeleteIsn't there a bridge to build somewhere?
DeleteConcrete shoes for her! Ol New York style!
The more I watch news, the more I think you can only glean some truths from the comedians who are basically good barometers on what's really going on, and websites like this that offer people the chance to share what's on their mind. No more of that agenda filled blah blah blah. For instance, all this year Trump's been taking down every minority in our country. He hasn't said one positive thing that we as minorities want to hear. Only what the radical right wants to hear. Now that he's slipped in the polls and someone has finally gotten through to him on this, he is flip flopping and calling Hillary a racist, and digging up instances where he says she was a racist. All the while, Hillary is sending out ads where she doesn't have to dig too far back into the archives for Donald to be spewing his hate and bigotry. Amazing. And the news networks are opening with statements like this, "Donald Trump called Hillary Clinton a bigot". Then they go to show a faded Donald ranting in a steadily rasping voice. That voice, by the way, that's getting harder to hear or bear. So all of a sudden it's newsworthy that Donald calls Hillary a bigot. All year long he has said things that should have made everyone cringe, and no one blinked except for those of us on these sites, and people like Bill Maher. So I think everyone in the news world is in that rose colored bubble with Donald. Can't be any other explanation.
ReplyDelete7 comments. None close to lauding the tiny ninny. She is trying to claw her dimwitted self out there.
ReplyDeleteHA HA LOL
ReplyDeleteSarah Who must be seeing red.
Sarah probably thought she would be interviewed by Bill O'Reilly himself.
Sarah probably thought FOX was going to fly her by private plane to their studio.
Sarah hasn't been seen giving interviews on TV for quite some time and probably thought her mug would be on tv.
Sarah probably bought herself new clothes for Bill O'Reilly
Sarah probably thought she would be leaving her dysfunctional family for a week.
Too funny, Sarah Who's 10 minutes are up.
"whose"
DeleteMay be investigators are interviewing her?
DeleteShe sure is pissy lately! What's up Sunshine
9:38 You just received a demerit from the grammar police and worse, the reading police.
DeleteNote the second line of the comment referring to the pissy one as "Sarah Who". Using possessive form to denote her ticking clock in the last sentence is thereby correct.
She only cares about Trump and she knows he is terrified about her.
DeleteHe has to stick with hard immigration policy or else. Wait and see. He can only talk out of both sides of his mouth now.
He is soft, he is hard. That is going to get old and the plot will be carried out if he doesn't take a stable clear stand.
1055 your last sentence makes me laugh!
DeleteSounds like a personal problem to me! ;)
Excuse me, that guy abruptly cut off Sarah Palin. That was very rude of him. Who does he think he was talking to?
ReplyDeletean idiot!
DeleteThats Sarah. The more putrid the view----the better, in her Swiss cheese brain.
ReplyDeleteI was expecting to see Sarah Palin's face on FOX. What happened to the tv studio FOX built for Sarah in her Wasilla house?
ReplyDeleteWhen Sarah was fired by Roger, did he send Repo men to Wasilla to get his TV studio property back just like the GOP sent Repo men to Wasilla to get their RNC clothes back from the Palin family?
DeleteExcept for Toad's silk skivvies!
Delete@7:46 I really think so. When was the last dill filmed there? Been a whiiiile.
DeleteI picture Sarah sitting in her posh house in Wasilla, wondering upon wonder, why didn't Roger Ailes hit on me? I was way hotter than the rest.
DeleteSarah Palin thinks that she is hot?

Sarah, your vindictive nature is showing. A remarkable good way to get even with trump! Since you live so far away?
ReplyDeleteYou are so good at inciting hate and fear . Now you have given the "living dead zombie's" aka racist Trump supporters, his knife in the back trick!!!! Pretty sneaky.
Oh that isn't the HALF of her antics! Isn't that right Sarah? I got a straitjacket for ya! Free of charge - includes transportation!
DeleteAppearing on MSNBC, Glenn Beck told of a caller who essentially said if Trump doesn't follow through on his hard line policies, he could be in danger. Yes, it was a thinly veiled threat.
ReplyDeleteIn tone and temperament, we have extremists in the U.S. who are little different from those we abhor in other countries. The GOP opened this door by courting a T-party that mutated. Its much vaunted principles, ethics, and morality essentially went out the window in order to grab votes, and this is what we have, a stitched together party made up of various body parts.
Until party leaders do more than simply denounce Trump's statements, we can expect more of the same. What does it say about you if you denounce everything someone stands for but you still sleep with them? We will rue the day we allowed this to get out of control.
Many in the GOP are crying foul because the entire party is being tarred by the same brush. I agree, but actions speak loudest. Time for a movement in the GOP that reclaims what the GOP is really supposed to be. Things are going to get a lot worse before they get better.
The Tea party was never grassroots, or about morals and ethics. It's Dick Armey's baby, always was, always will be, with Koch money as its lifeblood.
DeleteAre you worried about assassinations, 7:40 AM? I wouldn't be at all surprised should any occur.
DeleteOOOOh. And the plot thickens. Now Trump's gotta stick to his original rants or his life is in danger. The bully getting bullied. Can't say he didn't bring this in on himself. God knows, we've been listening to him all damned year long say the crazy shit that has stirred up the cockroaches of this nation. Even Putin got excited.
DeleteSarah would have been the one to say that because she is the one behind it. With her home militia where Track is still a Sergeant. Once a Commander in Chief always a Commander in Chief. Never forget that. You just think she quit.
Delete12:49 zzzzzz
DeleteAnyone else catch the hilarity at the D (dementia) pond yesterday? "Trump calls Sarah every day for advice". But looks like he forgot to call her before he softened on immigration.
ReplyDeleteTrump calls Sarah Palin every day for her opinion? Somehow I find that very, very difficult to believe!
DeleteThey are both proven idiots as well as being racists, liars and frauds! Both are horribly sick individuals.
Dare someone to ask the Ponders "where's Jill?"
DeleteIt's funny that she did this interview by phone... I know why too. If she would have shown up in person it would have been proof that Alaska is not too far away and that Donald really did kick her to the curb. Neat trick, but we see through this b.s. Notice how they (Fox) still keeps on the kid gloves and does not challenge her answers and keep calling her governor. They know she's an idiot but they keep acting like she's someone to be respected. Such a joke. They fire her two times but still call her for her fucking opinion. Maybe they get a kick out of making her think they value her opinion and then laugh behind her back once the interview is over. I can hear them now: "Damn, she's still stupid. Thank god she doesn't work here anymore..."
ReplyDeleteI think she phoned it in cuz she just had some more 'work' done. See? She learned something--from Barstool: Don't let 'em take pix until AFTER all that facial swelling goes down!

Barstool's showing us a non-prego shot on her Insta, complete with a wrinkled up blazer she dug out of the dirty clothes bin. She really looks like she's typing(har har) and working, what a renaissance mother! She's in her trophy-show kitchen, as we all know, she can't cook. It's a glorified bar, just there to mix drinks and fill flasks, not cook the children's dinner.
DeleteToday in History. The 19th Amendment adopted. A Woman's right to Vote. 113 years ago The Woman's National Party was formed by Strong Real Women. It took 70 yrs of fighting male bigots. And they won the right to vote. And We will elect the First Woman President of the United States in 2016 and continue the fight against the male bigots. And win. Win with strong real men standing with strong real women.

ReplyDeleteI somehow remember her doing her best to destroy the republican party from the inside. And she gave birth (on a wild ride) to dRUMP, who is doing the same thing.
Again I say, "prominent Republican"?????
So goes Sarah Palin, so goes the Republican party. Or did she turn the honor over to Donald Trump?
DeleteOT: FRANCE
ReplyDelete"The court said in a statement the decree to ban burkinis in Villeneuve-Loubet “seriously, and clearly illegally, breached the fundamental freedoms to come and go, the freedom of beliefs and individual freedom.”
France is a secular country, they have every right to ban religious garb in public. I'm sad they overturned this.
Delete9:28. Because you're secular, it means you can ban things like clothing in public? Even the fresking KKK can walk down the street in their hateful garments. I thought secular just meant you can't mix state-sanctioned activities with religion. I'm an atheist. But from your reasoning, you could ban carrying a bible in public? Carrying a Christopher Hutchins book in public? I sunburn incredibly easily, so when in Hawaii and spending a day in the water/ at the beach, I wear a long sleeved rash guard and swim skins. All it would take would be for me to add a swim cap and I'd be as covered as somebody wearing a burkini.....I live in a secular country (US), and I would certainly be offended if a woman sitting next to me wearing a burkini was fined and I wasn't, just because her garb is religious.... What about a nun going for a walk and deciding to sit on a park bench at a beach?
DeleteI bet she turned that home studio into a meth lab. Maybe that's why she had to do the interview by phone. I guarantee you that next year this time we will hardly hear anything about Sarah Palin. This will be the very last political cycle that she will be asked about anything. That's why she was frantically trying to make a comeback last year and this year. TV appearances, the Sarah Palin Channel, the devotional book, supporting Trump and dumping Cruz, the Judge Show, etc. But none of it worked. She's failing miserably. What's next, porn? I think she has played most, if not all, of her cards. The people at Fox hate her, Glenn Beck hates her, Ted Cruz hates her,the Republican party hates her, her kids hate her, Donald Trump hates her, John McCain hates her, and sadly, she hates herself. She hates that she's not smart and wise and talented like other politicos and pundits. She hates that she's a joke/punchline. She hates that her looks are fading and she cannot bring back those good old days of 2008. She hates that her PAC is damn near broke. She hates that she's stuck with pretending that Trig is her child. She hates that she has to pretend that her kids are hard working and successful. She hates that people see through her and talk and laugh behind her back. She hates that president Obama never gave her the time of day. She hates that she is not able to learn. Sarah, here's a piece of advice: Just cut your loses, fade out of the public eye and find a nice quiet hobby. You will feel a lot better. You won't have to make a fool of yourself anymore and can just spend time with your family.
ReplyDelete"...just spend time with your family."

ReplyDeleteHow does Bristol have time to hawk her monthly jewelry in a box, her sweatshirt line (I believe it had a gun or something on it), her milkshakes and still have time to work for Dr. Jack-Something-Off with her BFF the exotic Russian calendar model from Afta Dark? Sarah paid all that money to send Bristol to that Arizona Skin University and now Bristol is hawking whatever she finds on the internet. Now we know why none of Sarah's children went to a real university. Why waste her money on them?
I hope someone can answer this. It's OT, kind of.
ReplyDeleteIn Trump's I'm-soft-now-I'm-hard interview with Anderson Cooper, Trump keeps waving his hands around and on his right hand has a weird dark spot on it. There's writing across the screen and so most of the time his right hand is covered, but when it comes up above the writing there is a really dark spot by his pinky and around the area where the pinky meets the rest of his hand. I don't think it's a ring stone, but maybe it is. It looks too dark to be a scab, but maybe it is.
Did anyone else notice and know what that was the other night?
It's probably a shit stain. It's hard to wipe your ass properly when you have such tiny hands.
Deleteage spot.
Deleteuntreated melanoma would be nice though.
Sarah probably had a good reason to do her phone interview in Wasilla. Look what happened the last time Sarah left her kids alone in Wasilla. Track got drunk, threatened to commit suicide, beat up his pregnant girlfriend and tried to stop her from reporting it to the police department. Sarah can't risk her kids going ape shit at home without her.
ReplyDeleteYep when $ara leaves town her kids wind up in jail or pregnant.

DeleteIntimidating is the factor here hu Sarah?
So, $arah is jumping on ANOTHER bandwagon - this time the one from (M)Ann Coulter. That one released her book yesterday 'In Trump We Trust' or some such drivel, and said in her book that he can flip flop on anything, say anything, EXCEPT on immigration. It was worth the watching of her swiveling away from tRump as he changed his position exactly the day she came out with her book...
ReplyDeleteHe promised Melania. She comes through with her true immigrant story as promised or Trump is soft and weak.
DeleteIt is sickening when Donald is soft. That is just not Presidential to look so weak.
Beating around the bush is failure. 'Nate' is right and Sarah knows. She needs to find the balls to speak truth to power or she is just another version of weak.
O/T: Seems like Bannon, the new manager of tRump, is committing voter fraud! He is registered both in California as well as in Florida. The location in Florida is actually a longtime uninhabited house, due to be torn down to make place for a new development!

Bet you Ivanka didn't have to sign that nude contract when she appeared on the Apprentice show. Donald ain't sharing her fine ass naked body with nobody
DeleteAnd, 8:58, I bet Trump sometimes has Melania put on a long blond wig when they're doing it.
DeleteOh-oh, sounds like Sarah is distancing herself against Trump and Bannon. There's no way she would have spoken up on this, if both of these men, had been nicer to her.
ReplyDeleteI think it's retaliation time from Sarah, otherwise she'd stay silent. A follower of the Trump campaign knows that they must always unconditionally comply and accept any of Trump's flip-flopping madness.
That Sarah would speak out sounds like she's feeling abandoned by the man who created her "Undefeated" identity and the other rich guy who used her then dumped her.
Before Sarah was from Trump's convention, she wrote articles which were posted at Breitbart. Breitbart IS racist and so is Sarah Palin. It is good to see her team up with Trump. She sunk McCain in 2008 and I hoping that her magic mojo will have the same effect on Trump.
ReplyDeleteMemo to Sarah: When you gave speeches for Trump last January, Track beat up his girl friend and was arrested. And, Todd had a very bad snow machine accident. Please give some more speeches for Trump.
She is weak and spineless and no one will have her. When rotten vile like Trump knows she is scum and won't stand beside her after he got his wake up call, you know she is dead to the functioning world. One of the lowest of the unsavory odious. And this is why she had to quit as Governor after losing as McCain Palin 2008?
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!?
She also quit as Commander in Chief. First line of defense for the nation. Why would she quit that? It was said she rivaled Joe Biden in her national security briefing and information. It was what they said, not that it is true. But who just suddenly quits like she did? Must be a real good story about that quitter.

Hey, don't keep blaming us Alaskans for Palin. I am Native, and I never asked all the grifters to come to our state and lay down roots. They just did, and they bought their putrid ideas from places like Ohio, Texas, and even as far away as the Ukraine. Now they are firmly embedded and nuttin' we can do but suck it up at this point. Yes, I would love it if they would just stop using our state as if they were unique to the world but it's their brand. Isolation does that to you. No, before you blame us for Sarah, look back into her roots. That's where her ideas, mentality, and psychosis comes from. They use to say up here, that all the white people came up here either looking for gold or hiding from some kind of crime from the lower 48s.
