Gee....where have I seen an image like this before?I'm headed to Louisiana to help a local group deliver supplies and recruit volunteers. #BatonRougeFlood pic.twitter.com/KFLjBHAyFL— Dr. Jill Stein (@DrJillStein) August 22, 2016
Oh yeah.
George W. Bush on his way to visit the devastation left behind from Katrina in 2005. |
Heckuva job, Jill. Now explain to your supporters what you were doing in Russia, trashing the US with Putin.
ReplyDeleteI would like Ms Stein and the Green Party if they swore off on the medical and agricultural woo-woo.
ReplyDeleteScience matters.
If it were down to her or Trump, I'd vote for her.
As it is, we tree-huggers who respect science are left cold by the Green Party.
Maybe an unpopular opinion, but I see these visits as pure photo ops, nothing more. Tour devastation and hand food out for an hour? Big whoop. The REAL heroes are the boots on the ground, day in day out folks.
ReplyDelete"When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, 'Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.' To this day, especially in times of disaster, I remember my mother’s words and I am always comforted by realizing that there are still so many helpers – so many caring people in this world." -- Fred Rogers
Without even seeing the second photo my first thought was "oh jeezus she pulled a bush?"
ReplyDeleteI guess this will be stein's katrina.
I was expecting a photo of Cheeto Hitler to be included also too. After all, he just delivered some much needed Playdoh.
Delete"Recruit volunteers"? S-M-R-T!
ReplyDeleteIs she bringing money or just play-dough?
ReplyDeleteDoes the "supplies" include vaccinations?
ReplyDeleteOh, my bad. That's not her thing.
She's as big a publicity hog as Trump. Who's paying for that private jet? Did she ASK the Governor if it was convenient to arrive now? Who's paying for those 'supplies,' and are they needshe's there to 'help a local group deliver supplies.' It doesn't sound like Stein paid for anything..she's about as involved with the people as Ryan rewashing dishes at an empty shelter. This is pathetic. But then, the fight against Hillary is pathetic. As is the oneupmanship of these people. I suppose Gary Johnson will be next..and then Trump can tweet about how he was first and bestest, and how come Obama hasn't been there YET, or lazy Hillary?
ReplyDeleteMeanwhile, Trump cancels THREE events with no explanation. Taking naps, Donnie?
Donnie has a tummy ache. I don't think he's healthy!
DeleteVery presidential.
ReplyDeleteIs Stein just another Bernie? She was a democrat and she certainly supports a healthy climate but she has trailed off to Putin and has wasted time and votes again and again to secure a public office. Can't take the hint that the voters don't want her and now siphoning off votes this election. Should have stuck to doctoring if she was better at it than she is at running for every political office in the land.
ReplyDeleteAt least she's honest that she's there to recruit volunteers.
ReplyDeletePutin's handmaiden!
ReplyDeleteWhat is it about all these politicians? Every thing they do is just for show? And in this case, they were asked to stay away. Let's look at who honored that request...
ReplyDelete'Where's the beef'? How much did she donate? I think twitter and assbook are partially responsible for all this 'show'.
President Obama just arrived in Baton Rouge, LA
ReplyDeleteHe will do what is right...
She's a nutter. In this day of environmental awareness full of plenty of people suitable to head the Green Party you're telling me this is the best they can do?
ReplyDeleteAs the green movement becomes more mainstream so should their candidates.
Someone didn't think this one through. How about a re do with a whole foods shopping cart?
