Unfiltered video of Trump supporters. (NSFW because, you know, Trump supporters.)

And just imagine if these unwashed racist assholes suddenly all felt empowered because THEIR candidate was in the White House.

This whole country would be like Arkansas in the 1950's.

in other news - Julian Assange Says Wikileaks Is ‘Working On’ Hacking Trump’s Tax Returns I'll believe when I see it - but even then maybe now, because I don't trust the info would be completely truthful

      I don't think they're capable of it.

But if Donald filed them electronically, Anonymous might.

Arkansas doesn't come close to the history of racism in Mississippi, Alabama & Louisiana. I thank my mother almost every day for getting me out of there. My children have a totally different outlook from their cousins.

    1. Please read about Governor Faubus using the National Guard to stop nine Black students from attending Central High School in 1957 and Eisenhower calling in the Army and what happened afterwards before judging Arkansas's history of racism.

I am well aware of Gov Faubus and the integration of Little Rock schools. I am also aware of all the atrocities in MS, including Philadelphia and Birmingham, Selma and Montgomery in AL. I did not give AR a pass however best I can remember there were no dogs, hoses, bombs or murder. Then, there is the KKK in Denham Springs, LA. I was born in MS, father was from AL, and I have lived in MS, TX, AR, LA, TN, FL, and.....Chicago. I am a white grandmother and I am a liberal Democrat.

    3. You said Arkansas "doesn't come close." I disagree, based on both the abuse suffered by students and teachers in 1957 and following, and Little Rock's impact as an icon of racial hatred in the 1950's.

In my small southern town, after Brown, the Governor shut down the schools and all the white kids went to private schools.

They opened the high school in 1959 to 22 black kids but all the white kids stayed in private school for that entire year and the 22 black kids were the only kids in the high school.

I could never believe it when my parents told me these stories because by the time I was in high school our sports teams were mostly black kids and our parents, the ones who weren't allowed to go to school with the black kids, were the ones in the stands cheering our sports teams!

Although mixed-race dating was still basically forbidden even in the 1980's, most of our clubs and social events were completely integrated and even though a lot of our parents didn't want us to even have black friends, many did. No one really talked about it, we just went on with our lives. I haven't been back in over 20 years so I have no idea if this little town has become more progressive through the years, but our history was a pretty common one in the south.

Liz I, I guess it just depends on your perspective. I still have the local(MS) paper where the bodies of the Civil Rights workers were found in Philadelphia, MS. We lived about 25 miles, maybe, from where Emmett Till was hung as a teenager. I don't give Boston or Chicago a pass either. I just hope that in someway, I have helped make our world a little better.

Pandora's Box has been opened and whether Trump wins or loses, these people have been empowered by the Republican Party. I worry for the safety of anyone not white or male or X-tian in the vicinity of these neanderthals. Looks like America has to go another generation or two before it becomes part of the civilized world.

      Trump didn't empower them.

Sarah did. She's the one that brought them out into the daylight and made them think what they said was not only acceptable but mainstream. That everyone was as racist as they were. That what they thought and said represented American values and that the majority of Americans thought as they did but were just too politically correct to say anything.

Trump simply gathered up Sarah's crazies and lit a fire under them. He added the violence factor. He's a bully and has people evicted from his rallies consistently just to encourage them to put their racist and bigoted thoughts into actions. This makes Trump even more dangerous than Sarah.

We'll see more violence that can be traced back to Trump than we ever did when Sarah was running.

This doesn't just happen in the South, either. A friend of mind shared a news article where in the small town where she grew up in New York, a black man's house had been burned the day after he received a racist note. She called it a sundowner town which means that only whites were to be there after dark.

The guy whose house was burned as a volunteer firefighter. Turns out, his neighbor was arrested and charged with arson for burning the house. The neighbor was also a firefighter who went through training with the guy whose house he burned!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is no bottom to hatred.

Now if there was righteous Karma, the arsonists' house would be deeded over to the man whose house he burned. As in "You burn my house down, I take yours."

And there it is…All that ugly, it’s not just a few it’s the whole damn lot of them. It’s like watching a blood thirsty crowd of Romans waiting for a bunch of hungry lions to eat defenseless people. That’s what this is—They truly want to see minorities hurt, not just sent away but hurt. They’re pissed off at failed GOP policy promises that failed to make their lives better and damn it, white folks still aren’t the preferred treatment they deserve.
There ya go GOP…you built this. This is what 40 years of the Southern Strategy has wrought. This is what happens when rich Wall Street types make promises to southern voters and welsh on those promises. Don’t tell me the GOP didn’t think racists would figure it out eventually—they just betted on social issues like abortion and gay marriage to keep them believing in the GOP—But Trump shows up and looky there y’all, he ain’t speakin’ in tongues. They know what he’s telling them—he’s telling them exactly what they want to hear big time. It’s okay. You’re right. It’s time to make America great for white folks.
I find myself hating Republicans and tea partyers. I really do. I know it’s not right, I know I should rise above but I just can’t. That party damn near died in the last election cycle, this time it really does need to die. Maybe some sort of sanity can arise from the ashes, who knows? My biggest fear is that white supremacy groups will be embolden by their seemingly national acceptance by Trump and the GOP. And here I am in open carry Texas. Yeah I’m not sleeping too well these days.

God that was nauseating. Nuremburg all over again. Yes, all the comments above are true. Sarah bought them out of the wood works eight years ago. Before that they were just bellyaching on their own, and scrunching up their beer cans, belching and rubbing their fat bellies. Now, they have a bonified club. Sarah revved them up and they were ready for some loud mouth like Donald Trump to say what they were always thinking from day one. The Republican party is exactly the same as these people in the video only they don't like to actually get their hands dirty. I mean even Barbara Bush made some derogatory remark during Hurricane Katrina, and Mitt Romney said some things that undermined his campaign. They all have some issues with minorities. And don't forget it was the Christians who were involved in the Holocaust and now we have people like Pat Robertson who endorses Trump. All in the name of God of coarse. Like God want's to obliterate all people of color so his whites can reign. Or, God wants to stop Mexicans and Muslims from infiltrating the United States. The list could go on, on what the so called Christians think God want. In order to be a racist bully you have to get down there and get thine hands dirty, and so the Republican party, just by condoning Trump and ever so slightly egging him on is silently adopting his and their views. If Donald wins, (God forbids!) and he tears the fabric of our cushy world assunder, the Republicans will have just as much dirt on their hands as ever. They never did accept accountability for Cheney's and Bush's mess. The hypocrisy.
