With the addition of Stephen Bannon to the Trump campaign racists are now bragging that they have "taken over the Republican party."

Courtesy of Mediaite:

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump rocked the political media world this week by hiring Breitbart.com honcho Stephen K. Bannon to be his campaign CEO, and while the move has mainstream pundits scratching their heads, its meaning appears to be crystal clear to David Duke and his followers. The former Klan leader and current U.S. Senate candidate closed out the week celebrating the move with Stormfront-friendly radio co-host Don Advo, who got a chuckle from Duke by saying that the Bannon hire means

“We’ve taken over,” an assessment that Duke mostly agreed with:Don Advo: So, something extonishing has happened. We appear to have taken over the Republican Party."

Duke essentially agreed with Advo while using some reference to boll weevils that I live too far north to completely understand.

Personally I am a little surprised to hear this since I was never aware of a time when the racists DIDN'T control the Republican party.

In other "great news if you're not voting Republicans this year" it appears that Trump has another familiar face providing advice on foreign policy:

Tea Party firebrand Michele Bachmann says she is advising Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump on foreign policy.

The former Minnesota congresswoman attended a fundraiser in the state for Trump on Saturday, where she revealed to the press that she has his ear on foreign policy.

“He also recognizes there is a threat around the world, not just here in Minnesota, of radical Islam,” she said, according to MPR News. “I wish our President Obama also understood the threat of radical Islam and took it seriously.”

If you have ever wondered if it is difficult to type while laughing hysterically the answer is yes it is difficult but I still managed to pull it off.

I know people kind of poo pooed the idea of Trump asking Sarah Palin to join his campaign, because that would indicate a lack of seriousness. But I have to ask at this point, "Would that really be any worse?"

Civil war? Chicken little could not have said it better.
My take. Trump will never lose. And, he will never be president. Because, really, that is what this has always been about.

I would include Palin in this little circle jerk of Trump & Bannon. Who else has been advising him on the QT? She is doing it on the Down Low, b/c ugh, ummm the Secret Service FOIA is trickling out and IF news gets a clue she is advising Trump well, let the bodies roll! Malia was even on Fox news with the news! I bet Sarah and Todd had to change their depends!

Shelly Bachmann? Jeezus. If you read the reports from MN, other than the warm welcome from the snooty crowd of richie riches, he got a great big Bronx cheer from the MN people at his fundraiser there.

Maybe he just doesn't need Palin - his campaign seems pretty well stocked with Russian experts already.

The GOP base is essentially the white nationalist racist ignorant crowd. The are uneducated mediocre folks of low abilities who think they are superior. Dunning-Kruger would be overwhelmed by the sample set size. They are consumed with hate and stupidity and are no longer interested in hiding it. Their choice for president is a serially lying wealthy carnival barker. They think he is going to build a wall. It's so ludicrous it's laughable. Dumb to the nth and then some. He can't wave a wand and make them smarter, they will always be droolers. He likes them stupid because they slurp up his insane BS and think he is being real.

I think it's wonderful to have a Republican party at long last that is honest about what it is- the party of white supremacists and billionaires.

And don't forget there are still several more weeks for them to become an even uglier version of themselves.

Regarding "radical islam" we all need to understand the dangers and trust that our government will, especially after 911, prevent these types of people from coming here to the US. Now if only we could deport the dangerous radical christians and keep anymore from coming here we'd be doing just fine.

Let's create a secular country, nothing wrong with that, and I don't care what color you are, just please, leave your religion at the door or go home.

Putin’s State Run Media Is Now Publishing Propaganda About How Trump Is Really Winning

Donald Trump caved to the racists and white nationalists who support him by repeating his promise to deport 16 million people from the US. By doubling down on a racist policy, Trump may have destroyed any remaining chance that he had of winning.

The issue came up after a Buzzfeed story suggested that Trump had reversed his position on immigration, “Importantly, Trump did not explicitly use the word “legalization” at the meeting, but sources in the room said they feel it is the direction the campaign is going.”

Fuel was added to the fire after Trump’s campaign manager Kellyanne Conway suggested that the campaign’s stance of deportation was to be determined. Trump needed to find a new potential source of support for his struggling campaign. He could have done that by moderating on immigration. Instead, he sided with the white nationalists who are the backbone of his campaign and continued down the path towards a crushing defeat.

Reminds me of that country music song, the south is gonna rise again. And what's amazing is that they are trying to give hate and racism a new name. Trumpism. All that means is that he is in a position to waltz across the country and spout all his hateful views. He's like shit, and they are like flies.

"A time when racists didn't control the republican party"... History lesson idiot. The Republican party was founded by abolitionists. Lyndon Johnson killed the Voter Rights act of 1957. Gore and Byrd tried to filibuster the 1964 act. Stupid fucking liberal demagoguery... Go take a real American History course you moron.

Absolutely! The problem is that they've come here and complicate things by having children who are no American citizens by virtue of their birth and when we send the parents back home it leaves the children parentless and homeless unless the parents know some American citizens that are willing to take on their American children.

Before we start deporting the parents we need to set up some sort of federal programs to house these kids who will be left behind, unless of course the parents take them with them back to their home country, which in most cases wouldn't happen and depending on their immigration laws they might not be able to stay long on visas anyway.

It's a toughie and it won't be easy to solve, but you are right, it's not racist, its a problem that needs solving; either patriate these people or send them home, or a little of both.

Wow! When did America become a heartless bitch? I thought we welcomed the down trodden? I guess when the economy is shaky and earth's population is too high then humans are expendable? I can't even comment on things like this anymore. I'm Native American, and know that being dislocated and shuffled around by people who don't want you is real enough. Why don't we just call it what it is. The white people rule. The end.

Pollster Frank Luntz is the GOP darling when it comes to his focus groups for conservatives, but not even Luntz can polish the steaming pile Trump has handed him.

“He was my first choice. But just along the way, he has — I guess you can say he’s lost me,” one focus grouper told Luntz in a video that aired on CBS’s “Face the Nation” Sunday. “I’m not saying there’s no chance of turning but he’s become outrageous. I mean, we all have thoughts, but I think he speaks without thinking.”

The collection of respondents come from Pennsylvania voters where recent polling numbers show a lead for Clinton in the swing state.

“When he initially began to run, he gave voice to a lot of the frustrations that I was feeling about how government is working or more to the point not working,” focus group member Michael said. “But since then, he’s been running as a 12-year-old and changes his positions every news cycle, so you don’t even know where he stands on the issues.”

Seriously, this is all one big stupid joke, right?

Trump has now named Governor Sam Brownback (of the black hole of economic freefall called Kansas) as one of his key advisors on economic, agriculture and trade policy.

Kansas has become such a financial catastrophe that someone even wrote a book about it. Brownback has proven beyond a doubt that strict adherence to the infamous 'trickle down' economic policies of St Ronald Reagan is the straightest path to financial disaster.

So, of course, HE'S the brain-dead failure that Trump chooses to advise him on economic policy.

Aryan is the ideal. David Duke fixed his face to match. Just as Adolf Hitler may have had some Jewish ancestry, Duke had to disavow non-Aryans while making sure he was 'pure' Aryan.
