North Carolina gun rights group raffling off picture of Hillary Clinton with AR-15 and 1,000 rounds ammunition. WCGW?

And you wonder why we're pushing for stricter gun control legislation.
Courtesy of TPM:

A North Carolina gun rights group is raffling off an AR-15, 1,000 rounds of ammunition and a portrait of Hillary Clinton to raise money for Republican congressional candidates, CBS News reported Thursday.

In a post announcing the “Hillary Clinton Special,” Grass Roots North Carolina Treasurer Grant Gardner jokes that “what you do with the picture is between you and Hillary.”

“We won’t tell you what to do with the photo, but when we ran a picture of Hillary on the front of our newsletter, we heard it was very popular at the range,” Gardner added.

That's right let's arm gun nuts and then encourage them to get used to shooting at the next President of the United States.

Not exactly making a case for responsible gun ownership are they?

To my right wing nut children,

Guns? GUNS? What makes you more valuable than any of my other children?

And what's this 'anti PC' crap? Am I the only one old enough to remember manners?

Get with it, kids, or you'll be in big trouble when you get home.

    1. Anonymous5:52 PM

But we're too busy worshiping golden calves!

    2. Anonymous6:12 PM

      "Calfs." Gotcha!

A family affair. Maryann Trump Barry, Donald Trump’s sister.

According to Johnston, Trump received his personal helicopters from a convicted felon (drug trafficking). Rather than washing his hands of this man, Trump allegedly sets him up in an apartment, in what Johnston calls “very unusual circumstances.” After Trump wrote a letter to the courts asking for mercy for this man, his drug dealers were sitting in jail with twenty-year sentences, while trafficker got only 18 months.

    1. Anonymous7:56 PM

Oooo. A little play for pay for Mr. Sniffy?

  3. Anita Winecooler5:11 PM

That's one heaping helping of WTF? Are there enough crazies in this country to hand Trump the white house? This would make a great pro Hillary ad, but I suppose history taught them nothing. The Kennedys, Gabby Giffords, and thousands of innocent people killed for what?

    1. Anonymous7:58 PM

      I don't think so.

I just checked Nate Silver and Hillary has gone up to 292 electoral. Nevada and Florida swinging back to light blue. If she can keep the momentum going we're safe from Orange Hitler.

I'm embarrassed that we have to rely on the media in other countries to expose the Cheeto Asshat that the Republicans have foisted on us.

  4. PLEASE!!!!! Do not judge us all by these idiots. I love my state but lately??? This is sooo embarassing. Almost makes me want to move back to CT.....but.....Winter is coming and the White Walkers are at the wall;)

  5. Anonymous5:24 PM

These morons are so ignorant they don't even understand that little donnie is going for their guns with stop and frisk.

Under donnie's police state, only the police will have guns.

    1. Anonymous5:50 PM

They are definitely morons. Trump has pulled them out of the woodwork. Who knew that half the electorate was filled with folks with such a staggeringly low IQ? Sarah's popularity was a clue, but Trump has really brought them to the forefront. They are also known as the republican base. I would suspect a lot of them are also 'the people of Wallmart'. They think a self proclaimed ego maniacal juvenile 'billionaire' cares and will make their lives better. Dumb as shit.

    2. Anonymous6:11 PM

Dumb as shit indeed! This is their modus operandi and they'll stand by it to the end.

    3. Anonymous6:51 PM

Stop and frisk did work in NYC to reduce crime tremendously, and yes it obviously has its constitutional challenges. Not advocating it, just saying it worked.

But why would stop and frisk have anything to do with guns if someone is carrying legally? Stop and frisk does not preclude people from legal carry, and police would have no right to take legal guns. And if someone is carrying illegally, well goodbye gun- which should make the liberal gun grabbers happy.

Bottom line, you really don't know what you are talking about, and your lack of critical thinking skills is glaringly exposed.

    4. Happy To Pay My Own Bills7:39 PM

"Lineral gun grabbers" is a phrase that tells me all that I need to know about your lack of critical skills.

    5. Anonymous8:08 PM

I'll bet that 6:51 is a staunch "pro life" conservative.

    6. Anonymous8:37 PM

      "liberal gun grabbers"

Careful with your talking points. You need to hide them better.

    7. Anonymous12:31 AM

Well, the police and the white boys. Who do you think stop and frisk is aimed at? And please, 6:51, don't play innocent. Who is getting shot by police? Not white men. Not white teens. UNARMED blacks. What do you think the chances are of an armed black man surviving a stop and frisk?

  6. Anonymous5:36 PM

It's just an appeal to the slowest kids in the class who have an ammo sexual perversion. AKA: Trumpanzees. They are legion. They think Trump cares about them. How could anyone be that stupid and still walk?

  7. Anonymous5:37 PM

Amazing to see how some Americans are literally sick as shit!

What if some of these folks had guns pointed directly at them by weirdo Americans? Don't think they'd be happy campers!

Vote Hillary Clinton! The best candidate to serve as our next POTUS! She's an outstanding woman and can run circles around The Donald!

    1. Anonymous6:43 PM

      Waddle, not run.

    2. Anonymous12:28 AM

Compared to the obese Trump, Clinton could indeed run circles around him. And his creepy family too.

  8. Anonymous5:50 PM

No matter how this turns out, there will be chaos/riots like days in the 60s. Think of who is responsible for that upheaval. VOTE.

    1. Anonymous6:43 PM

      Uh, Democrats.

    2. Anonymous7:36 PM

You obviously don't understand civics, 6:43 PM but thanks for playing.

Name of first show on Trump TV leaked: Shithouse of Cards.

  10. Anonymous6:12 PM

"A vote for Johnson is a vote for Clinton/Trump."

    No it's not.

Let me lay this out for you.
That is a macro strategy. That is a strategy that a person like the president can actually use.
He has enough influence over enough people he may be able to say enough votes for it to make a difference.
But you don't. You are responsible for one vote. You might be able to sway one or two other votes but by and large you get ONE vote!!
Don't waste your vote on a macro strategy. Not only is it not rational. It's downright disgusting.
If you are willing to sacrifice, your values, your beliefs, and the one vote you have been privileged enough to be given, by using on someone you don't truly believe in, you've lost your mind.
You have one vote. Vote your heart. If that's Trump or Hillary, then so be it.
But don't justify some macro strategy, that you have absolutely no control over to vote for the "lesser of two evils".
Your responsibility is to your own values and beliefs.

    1. Anonymous7:12 PM

A Johnson or Stein vote IS a vote for Clinton/Trump. This is a two person race. Two choices. One of those choices is the most dangerous candidate that has ever had a chance to be the most powerful person on this planet.

You may not like Hilary Clinton. You may HATE Hilary Clinton. But if you don't vote for her in THIS race, you ARE supporting TRUMP.

    2. Anonymous8:33 PM

Your responsibility when voting is for the betterment of your country, not to make your self feel good when you toss your vote in the garbage and tell yourself some lie"Well,we may get into a third world war, who cares,I feel smug about my vote"?
      Grow up,Emo is for children.

    3. Anonymous11:38 PM

Lol such small minded children trying to force votes for Clinton..... Because that is freedom lol? Fascism anyone?

The only line the Democrats have, vote for Hillary or you are a mysogynistic sexist racist traitor, lol. You are a bunch of fucking useless sheep, and you serve your masters well.

    4. Anonymous4:54 AM

Anonymous at 6:12 - I think it is your responsibility to vote for the candidate who will be the best president. No candidate is going to line up with your personal values and beliefs 100% of the time. I agree with Anon at 8:33. It's not about you; it's about the country.

  11. Anonymous6:26 PM

EAST Korea? REALLY? This stupid idiot.

  12. Anonymous6:36 PM

    Free Tweet for the taking...

I cannot wait for @RealDonaldTrump doctors excuse why Don the Con can't go to Federal prison.

  13. Anonymous6:41 PM

This Latina will not be voting for Trump (El Pendejo).

    -Sofia Ramos, R.N.

  14. Anonymous7:02 PM

At this point, a vote for a third party candidate is a vote for Trump. It's obvious.

  15. I saw this. Trump and these gun nuts have insinuated multiple times that Hillary should be shot at. Trump says she should be in jail even though she has never been charged with a crime. The news would tell us its Trump who will end up in jail.

    1. Anonymous8:11 PM

Trump and his supporters are all going to be culpable if there is ever an attempt to take Hillary's life.

    2. Anonymous8:56 PM

If Palin gun sights that may or may not have caused Gabby Giffords' catastrophic injury, and the death of six people, including a small child, they will stop at nothing.

It's NEVER her fault; just encourages the 2nd Amendment solutions when civil discourse has no part. Just shoot them dead, but she had nothing to do with it. Just an AIP baby mad when things don't go her way.

    3. Anonymous10:25 PM

Cut Sarah Palin some slack. Didn't she just become a new grandmother?

  16. Anonymous7:16 PM

USA Today often makes available free newspapers to guests at hotels throughout the country. Is the upcoming Today going to be free to Trump hotel guests? Fun!

    1. Anonymous12:42 AM

First of all, I doubt they're free. I'm sure there's a charge on the bill for them.

"USA Today, for the first time in its 36-year history, is taking a side in a presidential race, urging readers to vote against Donald Trump.

The newspaper, one of the most widely circulated in the country, published a scathing critique of the Republican nominee on Thursday, arguing that no presidential contest until now has warranted such a statement.

“This year, the choice isn’t between two capable major party nominees who happen to have significant ideological differences,” reads the editorial. “This year, one of the candidates — Republican nominee Donald Trump — is, by unanimous consensus of the Editorial Board, unfit for the presidency.”

The editorial continues: “From the day he declared his candidacy 15 months ago through this week’s first presidential debate, Trump has demonstrated repeatedly that he lacks the temperament, knowledge, steadiness and honesty that America needs from its presidents.”

The editorial lists reasons to vote against Trump, including his prejudiced rhetoric, his erratic temperament, his “checkered” business history and his dishonesty.

The paper stopped short of endorsing Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton."

I'm sure Trump will substitute The National Enquirer instead.

  17. Anonymous8:05 PM

So many fucking morons! Didn't know we had enough woodwork for them all to crawl out from.

  18. Anonymous8:16 PM

Very important to watch the PBS frontline Documentary on history of the 2 candidates.

Hey all, I need your help again and I’d like you to try this on for size – I’m thinking about trying to put together a Wikipedia page specifically dedicated to Palin’s endorsement of Donald Trump. There’s a similar page up dedicated to Oprah’s endorsement of Obama, and the impact was comparable....
My main reasoning is that I recently looked over the entire page dedicated to Donald Trump’s Presidential campaign, and found that Palin wasn’t mentioned once, despite being one of his highest profile endorsers.

The reason Sarah hasn't said much about Trump's campaign is that she knows that the MSM would twist her words and juice up controversies that would eclipse Trump's message.

Donald Trump is triggering flashbacks and anxiety attacks from victims of domestic abuse.

"Donald Trump and his bombastic, truth-free persona is still baffling to many. But for one select group of people ― survivors of domestic violence ― Trump is immediately and intimately recognizable.

He reminds them of the men who ruined their lives.

“Trump is triggering so many abuse and rape victims including me,” Angel Marie Russell wrote on Facebook after the first presidential debate. “His behavior is almost exact to my abusive exes. It’s terrifying. I can’t even watch him.”

While domestic abuse is often characterized as acts of physical violence, it’s more accurate to understand it as a cluster of specific behavioral tactics that abusers employ to control, intimidate and coerce victims. "

"“His efforts to control Ms. Clinton and the dynamics of the debate (through his interrupting, his talking over and more loudly than Ms. Clinton) coupled with his very well-developed ability to evade accountability of any kind certainly reminded me of how men who batter operate,” he said.

Abusers place blame on others for their own failings, Funk said, recalling that Trump blamed moderator Lester Holt and his “unkind” questions for his poor debate performance, and claimed that his microphone didn’t work."

"This willingness to aggressively deny objective truths is a form of emotional abuse, called “gas-lighting.” Gas-lighting can cause victims to doubt their own memories and perceptions, and make it hard to distinguish fact from fiction.

Karla Fischer, a professor at University of Illinois College of Law, pointed to another common trait of abusers which Trump shares: Making themselves out to be the victim."

"Trump follows this pattern to the word. When he is accused of causing harm, he often makes himself out to be the one who has been wronged.

For example, during the debate, when pressed on perpetuating a racist conspiracy theory about President Obama’s place of birth, Trump insinuated he should be congratulated for the good he’d done.

“I think I did a great job and a great service not only for the country, but even for the president, in getting him to produce his birth certificate,” he said."

"Kate Ranta, a domestic violence survivor who was shot by her estranged husband in 2012, said the most triggering moment for her was when Trump “joked” about someone assassinating Clinton.

“Domestic violence survivors have a unique experience when it comes to Trump because we’ve fallen victim to men like him,” she said.

Jennifer Tetefsky, who cofounded an advocacy organization for domestic violence survivors to tell their own stories, said she’s had to go off the grid because Trump was triggering her PTSD. She can no longer watch TV.

“It got so bad in my social media feed that for several weeks I’ve been unable to connect and be online,” she said. “Even hearing his voice makes my stomach seize and my head spin.” "

You can watch Melania and sometimes see her stop short of a flinch. Knowing all we know about Trump, you can imagine the private scenes that took place after he lost the debate. And who he blame and takes it out on.

I'm just surprised none of his women have ever had bruises in public. Of course, we didn't see Melania for several weeks, did we? Both former spouses have non-disclosures to keep the gag on. More controlling behavior.
