Not so "deranged" anymore... https://t.co/K8l5Egv6XF— Sarah Palin (@SarahPalinUSA) September 12, 2016
This is more or less that point I was making yesterday about how this illness of Hillary's will be perceived by those on the Right.Hillary Campaign Gives an Answer for Her Coughing Attacks and 'Medical Episode': She Has Pneumonia https://t.co/lKDZXE15Pu— Sarah Palin (@SarahPalinUSA) September 12, 2016
Sure having pneumonia is not that big of a deal considering the kind of medical attention these candidates receive, however the real problem lies in the fact that it gives credibility to Right Wing conspiracy outlets like The Drudge Report and Alex Jones.
This suddenly moves them from the easily dismissed whack-a-doodle category and into the "investigative journalist" category, much like the National Enquirer did after breaking the John Edwards affair story.
THAT is not good for the Clinton campaign going forward as it now gives these conspiracy theory manufacturing outlets a glossy coat of integrity. Sure it will be short lived, but still there is damage to be done.
Sarah Palin's third Facebook post yesterday was a reach around to Donald Trump for "putting politics aside" yesterday in deference to 9-11.
But did he? Did he really?
Courtesy of CNBC:
Donald Trump Trump on Clinton's health: 'It's quite sad' 2 Hours Ago | 03:11 Donald Trump told CNBC on Monday he hopes Hillary Clinton gets better and that he plans to release a detailed report on his own health this week.
"I saw what was going on with her and I said, 'You know, I'm going to go do something and I actually took a physical last week and probably, I guess this week, will release the results of it," the Republican presidential nominee told "Squawk Box" in a telephone interview.
"It's quite sad," Trump said. "I hope she gets well soon."
"It's interesting because they say pneumonia, but she was coughing very, very badly a week ago," the 70-year-old Trump said. "It's very interesting to see what's going on."
So you can see how deftly Trump moves from ensuring folks that he is healthy and will soon prove it, to raising questions about the authenticity of Hillary pneumonia diagnosis.
And that is the fertile ground laid out for him by Alex Jones and other truth torturers on the Right.
All Trump has to do is to oh so casually question whether Hillary is being honest about her illness, and the media, both on the right and the left, will be all over it like flies on shit.
Which may be the most apt metaphor I have ever used on this blog.
Update: Here are some more examples of how this pneumonia admission changes the narrative:
Over 3 weeks ago I was calling on Hillary Clinton to release her health records... Some mocked me. Not so much now!https://t.co/yE8Vm4FnUp

This of course WILL die down, everything does eventually, but in the meantime welcome to the new media obsession with Hill's health and the increased scrutiny on hoarseness, level of attentiveness, and stride while taking the stage.ILLNESS SHOWS HER FIRST INSTINCT IS TO LIE... https://t.co/POWUByVyJi
— DRUDGE REPORT (@DRUDGE_REPORT) September 12, 2016
And now people like Sanjay Gupta are saying that the candidates should give a full medical history, as if the public has the right to every single thing each person has experienced ever. Let's say Hillary had an abortion. Does Gupta really think something like that should be revealed? And what if she had a miscarriage or more and has never had a wish to talk about it?
ReplyDeleteWell, as far as Trump goes, he pry stayed away from junk food for a couple weeks and doubled down on his cholesterol med to get that # down for testing last week. And he doesn't have pneumonia. Many #s Clinton might have right now will be affected by the fact that she's sick.
Yes, I want some medical info, but Hillary has presented much more than Trump and he's got the goofy doctor. A real record (but I don't need every bit of history--both people are entitled to some privacy), and one from a different doc, is what I want to see.
Trump's would most likely show how many times he had VD....

Delete@8:41 writes a three paragraph post but is so rushed they must abbreviate the word probably as "pry". Sorry, but people like you are really annoying.
DeleteDr. Sanjay Gupta, Dr. Oz, Dr. Phil, Dr. Drew, what are these people? Fucking TV doctors that have sold out their profession for a pulpit and none of them know their ass from a hole in the ground.
DeleteShysters, grifters and a sad example of a noble profession.
if drumpf thinks Hillarys bout of pneumonia is a sign that she is unfit to serve, what does it say about him that he has been seeing a SPECILALST - ie: a gastroenterologist for 30 fucking years??? That makes him much less than "astonishingly good" in the health department. THIRTY years. Think about that folks. It means he has CHRONIC issues. It means that his gastroenterologist EXAGGERATED, probably out-right lied, when he said drumpf is in "astonishingly excellent health". 30 years seeing a specialist. 30. YEARS. Pants on FIRE.
Delete1:39
DeleteSanjay is a dick also, too.
He cam to my hospital and was a total total diva.
Fuck you Sanjay. from all of to whom you were a diva!
You couldn't begin to cut it where I work, and we all know it.
On the other hand people might see this as just how tough she is by continuing to work despite her illness.Plus the alt and right wing were NEVER going to vote for her anyway.
ReplyDeleteThat's my take on it also.
DeleteMine, too. She is one tough cookie.
DeletetRump will realease his medical records when he releases his tax forms!! Yes, people with pneumonia cough, I did the three times I had it. $carah should shut the gell up, she puts out lies constantly about herself, her family, her husband's "accident". Just because she is a duplicitous bitch that does NOT mean everyone is. Nobody wants your opinion, $carah, go live vibrantly with your loathsome family.
ReplyDelete"Not so deranged anymore" said Sarah whose head was bashed by a rock(allegedly)in the last couple of weeks.
ReplyDeleteThen again, that might be helpful in the long run.
Tread carefully, Trumpie Boy. Your kin died from pneumonia and Alzheimer's. According to Stephen Colbert, your glowing face looks like you party at leaked nuclear waste sites.....
Let's hope we get real numbers, as the trumpster promised, about his blood pressure, cholesterol, weight, prescriptions. He is the picture of ill-health, on the borderline of morbidly obese, with no athletic activity, a fast food habit, and who knows what kind of skin condition under a decade of spray tan?
DeleteAs for Sarah Palin's health, what are the odds of a middle-aged couple both having bloody, disfiguring injuries within a few months of each other? And alleging that both injuries were related to sports? LOL. Drunk and disorderly, most likely.
Wel, those photos could have been taken anytime, knowing $carah's scams. For a "loving Christian wife" she did not rush to be home with her dear "husband" did she?
DeleteNo sarah, you and those RW nuts are still deranged. You were all going on about how she probably had altzheimers, parkinson's and worse. Not even close to the truth. But what else is new?
ReplyDelete@9:14 am
DeleteSarah and the RW nuts are deplorable 'too and also therefore.'
dowl
"Sure having pneumonia is not that big of a deal considering the kind of medical attention these candidates receive..."
ReplyDeleteWow. Are you really attempting to 'no big deal' a elderly woman running for president, contracting pneumonia just a couple months before the election? On top of her already known, and unknown undisclosed, health issues?
What "undisclosed health issues"?? Remember tRump tested POSITIVE for all the tests his doctor supposedly put him through. THAT is not good. Seeing tRump's doctor did not exactly clear things up, either.
DeleteWhat "undisclosed health issues" would that be, Sarah?
DeleteThis is BS, 9:17. We're not talking about the old days like back when my father was a baby when his father died from pneumonia. And we're not talking about someone like Heath Ledger lying in bed with a severe case of pneumonia and not getting care and dying. And we all know that the word "pneumonia" is thrown around as if all degrees are the same, and the term's used even when a person doesn't actually have pneumonia. Hillary is getting great care. We all know this. Gryphen is right.
DeleteSarah is familiar with undisclosed health issues. They might include, abortions, tubals, ADD, genealogy records for offspring, or chem depend stuff. So just imagine what undisclosed secrets Hillary could be obscuring.
DeleteI am not hearing one scintilla of anything like evidence.
Why do you nut jobs think Hillary's health as it relates to fitness for presidency, have anything to do with Palin?
Delete10:45
DeleteMaybe because Palin's health disclosure letter was as fake as Trump's letter. Palin would have been next in line after John "skin cancer" elderly McCain. You were aware of what a Vice President does other than run the Senate...correct?
Hillary's letters from top notch accredited doctors will disclose everything the public needs to know. And Hillary will be a beautiful President. She lives fabulously; vibrantly isn't her thing. It is too, um, too uneducated for that job.
Lol. Donald is not the one constantly falling down, fainting, or suffering from occasional 'spells'.
DeleteIt doesn't require a doctors note to understand something serious is going on with Hill's health, and it is alarming seeing as it relates to the presidency.
12:08
DeleteThere are no valid facts to support what you are alleging.
Hillary's presidency will be just remarkable for our first elected female. Any related health issues would have been noted and addressed by this time in such an important campaign.
"There are no valid facts to support what you are alleging."
DeleteReally 12:35... Have you been living in a bubble, on an island, on another planet?
However, your follow up sentence explains completely why you are wearing the blinders so proudly and tightly.>>"Hillary's presidency will be just remarkable for our first elected female."... it is all about that for you isn't it? Nations security be damned, the only important thing is to feel good about a female presidential candidate.
At this point it seems a 50-50 she will still be on the ticket.
Hillary does not threaten people with red buttons, or boats passing by, or plane stairs not to his liking for mass conflict. You are thinking only of you white deplorable family with guns and no erstwhile compassion for others on this planet. Good luck with that as you will never change my mind nor will I yours. Good.
DeleteI do not want you around anyone in this US of A.
I don't want your mind on my side of the road.
"Whaaaa whaaaa whaaaa, I'm 5:21, and I only want what I want, nobody else gets an opinion (in this free country), Whaaaaaaaaaaa!"
DeleteGrow up little baby.

DeleteLay off the sauce.
What an ass. He says he hopes she gets better and hopes she's at the debate. He hopes. Right. He makes it sound like she might die. Fucking a-hole. This walking heart attack in the making needs to have that heart attack right about now.
ReplyDeleteYeah, and in a day or two Hillary's camp needs to emphasize the Alzheimer's that is in Trump's family. Will Trump get tested to see if he carries the gene? Someone ought to push on that.
Many of his statements seem to make it VERY clear that he is on the verge, if not in full blown dementia. He can not keep anything straight, changes positions daily and lies like a rug.
DeleteThe RWers will say, "Reagan had it: and he was a great!" Maybe it should be a prerequisite for President, in their opinion.
Delete9:57, I think you're right that Alz is now a requirement.
DeleteThe Repubs must have hated that Romney was such a picture of health. Obama and Romney. Two younger, healthier (not to mention easy to look at--looking at Trump makes me retch) men running for office that year. What could be worse?!
Right? Both the president and Mitt Romney actually look "presidential" Romney was an elitist but not a freaking wingnut. There is nothing presidential about drumpf, I've seen fitter and handsomer used car salesman. He's fat, ugly and quite frankly gross. The only thing he has going for him is he's tall. The US rarely elects short men to the presidency, McFuddled didn't have chance being short and based on his vp pick possessing the judgement of a horny 14 year old boy trying to get laid.
DeleteVote for Hillary Clinton! I am!
ReplyDeleteTrump is doing his usual bullshit! And, now all of a sudden, he is getting a complete physical and will release all the truthful information about it? Same doctor he had before that was interviewed (and flunked!) on national TV?
I don't believe a thing Trump says or does!
Groan. CNN is obsessing. First it was Sanjay Gupta and now it's Wolf Blitzer. He just interviewed Hillary's press secretary and asked a million questions in an attempt to force Hillary to reveal her entire lifetime of any and all medical records. The press sec stood his ground--no way does anyone have a right to all of her medical business. Fucking Wold even tried getting the sec to have Hillary's doctor meet up with Gupta to be interviewed and asked another million questions. Fuck Wolf. I have to say that I won't feel bad if he suddenly comes down with something--I'm not wishing it on him, but if he starts puking his guts out and can't stop the runs and spend half the day on the toilet for a while, it won't bother me one bit.
ReplyDeleteBased on his lack of an intellect demonstrated when he appeared on Jeopardy I'm amazed he remembers to breath.
DeleteSpin it all you want, but this is really bad.
ReplyDeleteYou got your dream candidate.
If she fails, don't blame Bernie.
Own it.
(And, honestly, Good Luck!, because if Trump wins we are fucked!)
Fuck you.
DeleteIt's fishy because:
ReplyDelete1. The reason changed
2. She's had several public moments where she was being held up and helped up a small number of steps.

Probably....
I guess....
No he won't if it isn't good.
DeleteYeah, right after Melania's immigration press conference.
DeletePeople are such morons. She probably caught a cold/cough and because she is so on the go and didn't take the time to rest and recover, it developed into pneumonia. The pneumonia itself is not contagious but the cold/cough she had that led to it were. How dumb does one have to be not to understand that? I'm seeing it all over the news as if she must be SO FRAIL to have CAUGHT pneumonia. No, dumbasses, she DEVELOPED pneumonia because she's so TOUGH she kept going even while sick. Of course it would have been better for her to have slowed down so she could be healthier in the long run, and I'm sure she learned that in this media shit storm, but IMO it just shows her tenacity.
ReplyDeletecampaigning as hard as she's been working and with Pneumonia? Sounds more like a badass to me. :-)
DeleteWait a minute, Trump is going to release his medical report this week? I thought that fake letter from his wacko Doctor friend was his medical report.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a physician and I don't play one on teevee. However, I am an Advanced Life Support EMT in a rural Virginia county where 32% of our population is over 65. I see a good bit of pneumonia.
ReplyDeletePneumonia is not necessarily hacking, coughing, spitting up bloody phlegm, can't breathe.
Hillary had a hacking cough a few days ago. Her doc says she suffers from seasonal allergies. We are in the late-summer/early-fall allergy season with lots of allergens floating around.
When people who suffer from allergies -- even mild ones -- inhale allergens (pollen, dust, pet dander), the allergen irritates the nasal passages, bronchii, and lung tissue. The body responds by excreting fluid to combat the irritant, and, by coughing to expel the irritant.
If the irritant persists, the fluid that continues to be excreted into the bronchii and the lungs causes the lungs to fill with fluid -- not to the point of suffocation but to the point where pneumonia develops.
Pneumonia interferes with the lungs' ability to exchange oxygen and carbon dioxide, resulting in a build-up of CO2 and an oxygen deficit in the blood, which leads to O2 deficit in the brain, which leads to passing out, difficulty walking and standing, dizziness, and the like.
Antibiotics for the pneumonia infection, anti-histamines for the allergy, deep breathing to exercise the lungs and you're back on your feet in a couple of days.
We first check BP, O2 saturation, lung sounds, and alertness. Pneumonia is fairly easy to spot, even when you're not in the hospital environment.
In the ambulance, we start two IV's -- solumedrol and benadryl -- and apply 10 - 12L O2. Of course, we are 20 - 30 minutes away from a hospital. In the big city, EMS would haul, probably not apply the meds we do.
I've picked up 65 - 70 yr old pneumonia patients who were struggling to breathe and whose lungs sounded like a dishwasher sloshing around. With the meds and the O2, by the time we got to the ER, they have perked up, O2 saturation is almost normal, dizziness and unsteadiness gone.
Of course, you won't hear any of this from the Trump and Palin Deplorables.
Thanks for that Old Redneck. The two times I had pneumonia were both preceded by terrible allergy coughs from pollen. I live in a heavily wooded area and until I moved here I never had any allergies. I'm very careful at pollinating season now!
DeleteThose are good details, OldRedneck, and help put her case in perspective. Note however, that Hillary did not go in an ambulance, or to be checked in ER. She went by car to her daughter's apartment. The failure to get a professional assessment of her collapse indicates that either her staff are very casual, or they knew already that she has these episodes.
Delete5:02
DeleteSo glad that you got her case in perspective. I think you missed the part where her doctor checked her out later at her home in NY which is an hour from her daughters. I mean completely medically checked her out. Yes. It was a real doctor.
Her staff is not casual. Trump doesn't even have a structured staff.
What episodes?
It must have killed you to give Old Redneck her due credit.
This episode of Hillary prompts right-wing media and Trumpsters to lick their lips and rub their hands together, like they caught her in a snare. No mind that she was quite seriously ill. There's a word for this kind of reaction, and I'm still trying to describe it: revolting, or maybe 'deplorable'. Yes, they are in a basket of deplorables.
ReplyDeleteI thought Dr. Brackish Okun was Donald's doctor. Quick, tell Alex Jones that the Area 51 alien doctor is testing Trump to see if he's half alien.
ReplyDeleteOh, boo-hoo! Poor little Sarah is jealous that Hillary is getting all the attention. What happened to all of the attention she expected to get when she gave her usual word salad about splitting her head open when she was "rock running"? (See Gryphen's post from Stephen Colbert's show making fun of that rootin'-tootin' rock-runner).
ReplyDeleteOoh, now I'm wondering what Sarah's going to do to herself next in her desperate attempt to get attention. She's a sicko. All sharp objects, pills, power tools and poisonous cleaning and vermin killing chemicals need to be taken out of her home immediately.
DeleteStill deranged, you Quitter-Queen!
ReplyDeleteSarah was looking for sympathy when she showed her bloodied fall on the rocks face.
ReplyDeleteI think this candidate presidential rule, to disclose personal health issues, is invasion of privacy. All they would need is a doctor's assessment and clearance that the candidate could maintain a rigid schedule of POTUS for 8 years. If they have a terminal illness or medical condition that prevents them from functioning normally, or psychiatric condition, then that should be reported. But all other health conditions, like contracting viruses, or having infections, requiring surgeries, or chronic disease, shouldn't stop a candidate from doing their jobs.
ReplyDeleteHow many presidents were alcoholics, drug or pain med users, or just plain nuts, and still were capable of controlling the reins of power. Mostly, it's the staff and confidantes and advisors who made the decisions.
Dear Pals who Follow My Political Posts; I've taken time off to do theater things for the last 2 weeks. Before I go off to Italy for a much-needed vacation, I wanted to post something about the current state of the presidential race. Don't forget, the media's job is to jerk our emotional chains until Election Day. They'll milk every minor incident to make drama. But political scientists look at two things that won't bounce up and down every week; the changing demographics with more minorities voting, and the electoral college; two long term factors that still heavily favor any Dem for president. Don't let the daily dramas make you crazy! It's all distraction. In 2008, they tried to distract us with 2 innocent, sweet teens who chose to have a baby by smearing them, by attacking the "Redneck" because he failed to register to vote when his mother in law was running. That was all noise and made the media look awful as well. It was good of his mother in law (almost) to defend him and his family in the months following the election because the media wouldn't let up on its stupidity and lies. (That is until she started to get abused by him, then the defense stopped and she ignored him and his bad decisions.)
ReplyDeleteThe point. Media is filled with immoral people. The blogosphere is filled with even nastier people. These people don't matter to anyone, which is why they're disgusting.
And now....Italy!
Alicia, last week your "dad died". Now you're off to Italy? Seriously, get a fucking life.
DeleteNow you're accusing Levi of abusing Bristol? Gotta be Opposite Day
DeleteHave fun in Italy, Fruit Loops!
Sorry, Alicia has been posting comments like this all day today, and I rejected all of them.
DeleteShe managed to sneak this one through.
I think by now we all know that she is deeply deeply disturbed and potentially a danger to herself and others, so it is probably best to just ignore her.
In this case, Hillary was damned if she did and damned if she didn't. If her campaign had disclosed her pneumonia Friday evening it would have been dissed by the press as: Friday night news dump (must be hiding something); trying to distract everyone from the basket of deplorable BS or trying to steal the limelight from the memorial services held this weekend. Not to mention all the current talk about OMG!!!! She's not fit to be president because she has a bad cold (I know it's sometimes a little more than that....pneumonia has many stages....but she was back on her feet within hours so I'm thinking that it wasn't that severe). No matter how or when it was disclosed we would still have this BS distracting from Trump's shady Foundation and the fact that he says he is finally going to release his medical info TO DR OZ!! Jezuz, can't the man get away from reality TV?
ReplyDeleteGet well Madam President :)
"That is until she started to get abused by him, then the defense stopped and she ignored him and his bad decisions."
ReplyDeleteThat whole post was just a long way around to slander Levi, Alicia? When will you be committed for good?
I pay a lot of taxes each year and it makes me sick that those dollars go to support sick fucking mentally ill people like Alicia...I'm all for leaving them on the streets until they die of hunger, people like Alicia.

ReplyDelete...Hillary Clinton speaks the truth about deplorable people, and our media groans and shivers, pronouncing it "bigotry" and a "gaffe." They excoriate her for her lack of transparency about her health while smacking down her honesty about racists and haters at every turn.
Media or no media, this is a fight worth having. You betcha. Trump can whine and call her disqualified all he wants, because he enjoys the privilege of being a white man. But he might just discover that white men aren't all that anymore. When he does, he'll go down in flames and hopefully light the whole damn basket on fire once and for all.

Trump called for Clinton to drop out of the race because she spoke the truth. Trump has no leg to stand on because he insults large groups of people as a regular course of business, here's a few examples of the 258 insults he's dished out on Twitter alone.
ReplyDeletehttp://www.politicususa.com/2016/09/12/donald-trump-calling-announced-candidacy.html
Yes, Most Donald Trump Supporters Are Deplorable and Irredeemable
ReplyDeleteFollowing the classic definition of a gaffe as a politician telling the truth, Hillary Clinton’s comment about Donald Trump’s supporters (“just to be grossly generalistic, you could put half of Trump’s supporters into what I call the ‘basket of deplorables.’ Right? The racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic — you name it”) was the purest and most classic example. The national media has spent a year and a quarter documenting in exquisite, redundant detail the rabid, anti-intellectual nationalistic bigotry of Trump’s hard-core fanbase. But it has taken Hillary Clinton’s affirmation to transform this by-now-banal observation into a scandal.
...Clinton controversially described half of Trump’s supporters as “irredeemable.” Trump earlier this year framed the same idea in a more colorful and perhaps more damning way: “I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody and I wouldn’t lose voters.” Both statements reflect the same underlying truth: Trump enjoys a hard-core support that lies beyond persuasion, utterly immune to even the starkest factual evidence. Clinton committed a gaffe because she acknowledged a reality that literally every other person in America, including Donald Trump himself, is permitted to speak aloud.
http://nymag.com/daily/intelligencer/2016/09/yes-most-donald-trump-supporters-are-deplorable.html
Yes.
DeleteI hope Gryphen doesn't mind, but I'm going to paste in something I posted after an article online about Trump's reaction to Hillary's comment:
What a false sense of shock and horror there is out there. Hillary even said right before the "half" that she was going to make a gross exaggeration--she never really said "half" and meant absolutely half. But let's say she did mean half. Speaking about Trump supporters is not the same as speaking about the entire group of voters who are Republican or who will vote for Trump. The deplorables are part of who voted in the primary. The worst of the worst had come out of the woodwork as they realized that Trump had made it okay for them to stop hiding.
He got 13.3 million primary votes. Half of that is 6.65 million. Let's say that those do account for the deplorables. Almost 61 million people voted for Romney in the general election. Almost 60 million voted for McCain in the general. Although Trump did get a record number of primary voters, we don't know how many people will vote in the general election. Even if the number of votes Trump gets is over 61 million, just basing things on the number of actual voters in 2012, about 61,000,000, Hillary's saying that about 11 percent of Trump's supporters are the people who say and believe in the most deplorable things.
No way was she not telling the truth at drawing attention to the 11%. We all know--we've seen it and heard it so many times for over a year now--that a large segment of Trump's supporters are whites who are racist, bigoted, sexist, and so on. When we look at what "half" really means, 11%, what Hillary said is something that all of us who have been observing knows is true. Hillary was not saying that half of 60-plus million voters are the deplorables. She was saying that 11% of the 60-plus million are deplorables. And that is so easy to see as valid. And I think she's being easy on Trump with that percentage.
The American people agree with Clinton: Trump is a bigot. This new poll confirms it.
Deletehttps://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/plum-line/wp/2016/09/12/the-american-people-agree-with-clinton-trump-is-a-bigot-this-new-poll-confirms-it/
Donald Trump put out a shiny new ad whining about "deplorables" so Hillary Clinton reminded the media and the public of Donald Trump's deplorable highlight reel. Donald Trump is not very smart.
Deletehttp://www.politicususa.com/2016/09/12/hillary-clinton-donald-trumps-whining-ad-opportunity-prove-deplorable.html
Poor woman scarah repeatedly posts old photos of her old days, when her deplorable followers were her paycheck. And remember folks, those old photos she's posting of days-gone-by are her best looks. So, how dare she jump on any opportunity to bark about Hillary's looks or health. I mean just look at scarah! lol
ReplyDeleteAnd it's sad that Bristol also feels the need to keep posting pics of a younger Scarah.
DeleteEven if Hillary didn't have pneumonia, it killed me how things blew up. I can remember so many times when my sibs and I almost passed out in such situations as a church service, and that was indoors. One of my brothers once fainted after having walked into town on a hot day. In these situations, we were usually in need of something to eat and some water. I have no idea what Hillary had eaten for breakfast, but the first thing I wondered was if she'd eaten and if she'd been drinking enough fluids.
ReplyDeleteMy grandma used to take us to church service and more than once we used the "pass out" excuse to get the fuck out of there. We were raised Atheist but they used to humor her by sending us off the church with grannie because "it wouldn't hurt us" but we'd pass out on the bench or flail around until she took us the fuck home and out of that house of horrors and bad music :-)
DeleteFull disclosure: going to church with grannie helped to insure that Dad stayed in her good graces and got the full inheritance when she was gone, so sometimes we played along but most times we "passed out or had seizures"...just couldn't take that ridiculous shit.
Too funny. And good thing the other churchgoers didn't think you kids were possessed and in need of an exorcism!
DeleteYou just gave me a freaking brilliant idea!
DeleteWhat a great story and refreshing slant.
Trump called for Clinton to drop out of the race because how she worded the description of 1/2 of his followers.
ReplyDeleteDonald didn't dropout for his description of women which includes their facial features and sizes, the disabled, The Blacks, all the races, his teenage daughter and his fellow Republican Party presidential candidates and their spouses.
HOW COME THE MEDIA ISN'T CALLING TRUMP OUT ON HIS PAST AND CURRENT DESPICABLE BEHAVIOR?
Agreed. I posted a little bit ago about how Hillary had actually called attention to 11% of the electorate who will be voting for him. That percentage is far lower than the percentage we get when we add up everyone who Trump has insulted.

Wow, a-hole Blitzer is interviewing Pence and actually pushing the matter of whether Trump should apologize for the birther thing. This is in response to Pence saying that Hillary owes all of Trump's supporters an apology. Pence's response re Obama? First he said that they're no longer talking about it--he said what Trump now says and wanted to move on. Blitzer followed up and Pence had to say more, this time insisting that it's a four-year-old story and it's honestly not what people are talking about. Black voters (and decent white voters) would not agree.
ReplyDeleteI've said this before! Trump 'lumbers' across a stage to the podium to speak and now they are going to watch Hillary Clinton walk to the podium?
ReplyDeleteFirst off, she'll walk like a lady to the podium which she's always done!
And, why hasn't the friggin' media and press been covering the issues of Trump's health, his obesity, his face turning so red and blotchy when he gets nervous or agitated?
He truly looks as though he could have a heart attack and keel over dead any time now!
Vote for Hillary Clinton! She is the ONLY ONE qualified to lead our nation!
He lumbers and is a hunchback. No way could he stand up straight now if he tried. And he just gets hunchier and hunchier. It must make Melania so embarrassed to go out in public for many reasons, including that this guy who brags about being 6'2" appears shorter than that and practically has a shelf for a back. You could place a Trump vodka martini on it a la Kardashian's drink on her butt shelf.
DeleteWhich is why, once again, we should not be allowing the right to control the narrative. There are other views out there.

How hard she was working while having pneumonia. Trump could never do that.

Americans are always going to work sick. Women do it all of the time.

Responses to Hillary working with Pneumonia.
Some of my favorites:
"This is the first time Republicans have cared about a woman's health."
"Wait, so Hillary has PNEUMONIA and she's still campaigning as hard as she is? You realize how badass that is, right?"
"At the very least, I'm far less concerned about Hillary Clinton's physical ailments than I am about Donald Trump's mental ones."
That Donald Trump is a gentleman if you ask me.
ReplyDeleteDonald:
"Well, I don't get satisfaction, Joe. And, frankly, you know, I hope she gets well, and I hope she gets well soon," Trump told Joe Kernen, co-host of CNBC's Squawk Box. "But, you know, it was quite sad, to be honest with you, and I hope she gets well soon. No satisfaction, believe me, whatsoever."
Did Donald remove the knives and bullets from Hillary's back before he made that comment?
DeleteThe "believe me" makes it clear he's not sincere.
DeleteI'm sure he enjoyed making it sound like she had a terminal illness. Stupid prick.
Delete@3:35 Yes, the believe me does make it clear. I never believe someone who qualifies a statement with "believe me". I want to say "Prove It!"
DeleteOr the sophomoric "Okay??"
A lot of people are saying, many many people, that Putin told him to say that.
DeleteBecause, the only time the word gentleman is referenced to Trump is when he goes to a strippers club through the side door. (Gentleman's club.)
Trump called for Clinton to drop out of the race because ....
ReplyDeleteBecause he's a pussy and afraid to lose to a woman
How much money has Donald Trump spent on detectives going through Hillary's trash and searching the internet trying to get the goods on Hillary? You know he has and it's burning his plump ass nobody found anything except she's sick.
ReplyDeleteThis is getting old Malaria. For the umpteenth time papers pleeeaaazzzzeee.
ReplyDeleteThey said Malaria keeps track of all her papers. Can't be that hard to find something, anything?
In America we keep our word.
Yes Melania, please give the press conference that your husband promised you would.
DeleteOtherwise, we must believe you were in the U.S. illegally, posing for soft-porn pictures and acting as a high-priced escort and sex worker.
Hillary comes from good stock, and as a female in a man's world, she's got to prove herself. We've all done it, went to work feeling lousy, feverish, exhausted etc because there's a greater level of scrutiny. And Hillary's at an age where she feels the pressure to perform better than a man in the same arena. Like it or not, men get a lot of free passes, when a woman does it, she's perceived as weak or unable to do the job. She's in a damned if you do, damned if you don't position.
ReplyDeleteSarah Who? You mean the old lady that claimed last week that she had a lot of difficulty putting one foot in front of the other on an uneven surface?
ReplyDeleteThe Sarah with obvious osteoporosis? THAT Sarah?
Whose side is David Axelrod on? With "friends" like him, Hilary Clinton doesn't even need the nasty media. I think that his tweet is precisely the reason people should eschew tweeting (I've always wanted to use the word "eschew"!). Tweets do not allow context or any kind of explanation. Not a mature form of communication.
ReplyDeleteBeaglemom
Go Beaglemom!
DeleteI agree and eschew anything Axelrod spouts.
doesn't speak very highly of the GOP rascals, now does it?
ReplyDeleteI mean... that 'sick old lady' sat through 11 hours of Senate interrogations and handed Trey Gowdy his ass
and now she's kicking Trump's ass without breaking a sweat: the best that they can come up with is, "she coughed! She coughed!"
