The state of modern politics in the new millennium.

I at first thought these people had turned their back to Hillary in order to wave at somebody out of camera range, which I thought was terribly rude.

But then I realized that it was selfie time and was simply struck by how important social media has become to the outcome of our elections.

The debate was great for Hillary!

I'd like to know how some news organizations are saying that Trump won that debate. Not from where I was sitting (and talking back to the television)!

Wow that's our future - narcissism loook at meeeeer

It's flip-flopped in our family; my father is 70 and uses a "selfie stick" frequently and has a Facebook and Twitter account. My brother, mother and I do not and have never.

Donald said in the debate that his youngest son is good with computers.

That fact alone should warrant a seat in the Oval Office.

Social media hit the key issue last night. Here's Gov. Howard Dean, MD on Donald's possible cocaine use.

It makes me have to consider that all the things I’ve grown to value in this life — empathy, goodwill, charity, love, knowledge, understanding, nuance, grace, forgiveness, humility, honesty, diversity, acceptance — are not valued by a huge segment of our society.

I am afraid that bullying, greed, egoism, anger, and black and white thinking are fueling an uncomfortable percentage of the American populace. And to make matters worse, they somehow believe those attributes will “make America great again.” His lack of empathy sets him apart."His simple-mindedness is dangerous.

I never thought about it, but the logistics of getting a one on one selfie with someone with so much magnetism and stamina are almost impossible. But it's nice to see younger folks interested in the next President.

Don't feed the trolls!
It just goes directly to their thighs.
