Well Donald Trump's visit to Mexico was sure a success. If by success you mean they might go to war with us.

Courtesy of Raw Story:

While Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump might have taken a victory lap after his meeting with Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto, those south of the U.S. border are not.

Finance Minister Luis Videgaray resigned Wednesday, after backlash from the invitation to Trump to meet with Peña Nieto. Now, Mexican Senator Armando Rios Piter is proposing legislation that could put Mexico in conflict with the United States.

“It was a historic error for our president to invite a person like that to our country. [Mr Trump] used us as a campaign tool,” the senator told the Telegraph.

In the past, Trump has threatened to cancel the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), claiming it was bad policy that hurt the U.S. manufacturing industry. If Trump were to do this, however, Piter’s bill would trigger a review and possible cancelation of all of the bilateral agreements between Mexico and the U.S.

The bill Piter is proposing would specifically cancel the 1848 Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo, which ended the Mexican-American War and ceded Texas and California as well as parts of Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Nevada, Utah and Wyoming to the U.S. if Trump cancels NAFTA.

“The goal is to foresee and prevent any negative effects on Mexico if Trump becomes president of the United States,” he said.

So Trump visits one foreign country as a candidate for president and politicians in that country now want to end a war treaty with us?

I can only imagine the kinds of damage he would do if he were actually the Commander-in-Chief.

We could literally end up in war with the entire world.

Except Russia of course. Trump loves Russia.

"Nearly every place we look into any aspect of Trump’s personal, professional, or political life, there is both behavior and rhetoric that, by any reasonable measure, should disqualify him from the U.S. presidency. Rarely does he seem inclined to conceal any of these things; to the contrary, he often brags about them."

    2. You are absolutely right. This election cycle has pretty much so become a giant freak show compliments of the one big ugly talking yam.

When lying, racism, misyogony, vulgar name calling and open aggressive disdain toward democracy as we know it, what the hell does that say about us a country? As a society?

What does it say about us when the highest office in our nation, the keeper of "leader of the free world" becomes nothing more than a game show prize?

      Yep. I'm scared.

I thought it was odd and came out of the blue?
In fact it was so odd that I thought the R's did it to take him out.
      Seriously? It was that weird.
If THEY asked him they why get all pissy with us? We didn't SEND him there?
      I don't get it?

Yes, it was indeed, in Trump's parlance, a "yuuuge" mistake for him to visit Mexico especially since he immediately followed up his "attempted diplomatic foray" with such a vitriolic anti-Hispanic display the same evening back in the States. Trump is so self-centered and immature that he doesn't realize that his behaviors are so obvious. I'm sure he thought that, because he was civil to the Mexican president, all Hispanics would forgive his pandering to his followers later in the day.

A Trump surrogate forcefully asserted that Trump did not say Obama was not born in the US. He told the newscaster she "was putting words in Trump's mouth. Then he did verbal jujitsu boldly declaring Trump found out for the people (Obama was born here) and Hillary Clinton did nothing, did not bother to do that for the people!

It is scary how they can lie like hell then turn it around others are lying and demonize Clinton as failing the public.

We are watching ugly Americans throughout our country right now and it is extremely disheartening!

The Republican party and it's members (especially those in our U.S.Congress) should be publically degrading their nominee, Trump! They (as a party) are going to lose so many seats across the country!

Screw the Republican party! Their Senators and Representatives (most especially) have no balls!

  11. #GuacTheVote: Latino business group wants taco trucks to register voters
    https://www.rt.com/usa/358716-taco-truck-voter-registration/

Is there anything tacos can’t do? As well as giving you a delicious source of food ‒ potentially on every street corner ‒ they could also now result in registering you to vote. Or at least they will if the US Hispanic Chamber of Commerce has its way.

The USHCC, which represents over 200 local chambers and business associations, is hoping their campaign, dubbed “Guac The Vote,” will enable them to use taco trucks to register people to vote ahead of November’s election.

Although the logistics of the operation are still being ironed out, the chamber said they may either train taco truck owners in voter registration or have additional staff who would register their hungry customers while they wait.

    1. 60 days and counting...Seen this? just another day in the bizarro campaign of Trump:

Donald Trump goes on Russian TV to complain about the United States...

Despite a compliant US press that has provided Trump with millions in free air time and made certain that his campaign has been top of the news ever since he rode down a gold escalator, Trump had one central focus for his attacks on America.

Asked during the RT America interview what has surprised him most about the political process, Trump unloaded on the American press.

“Well, I think the dishonesty of the media. The media has been unbelievably dishonest,” Trump responded. “I mean they’ll take a statement that you make which is perfect and they’ll cut it up and chop it up and shorten it or lengthen it or do something with it.”

      Uh huh. Totally unfair.

Which is a great thing to say, when the press you're talking to answers to the Kremlin and acts primarily to generate propaganda to feed Putin’s “82 percent ratings."

What did Trump have to say about making attacks on America for a Russian audience?

Giving money to stop investigations and lawsuits against Trump University is just a coincidence.

The GOP Presidential Elect would not do that.

$100,000 here, $25,000 there (to Florida AG Pam Bondi)

    Yahoooooo
Trump charity gave $100,000 to David Bossie’s Citizens United that helped fund lawsuit against mogul’s foe

    Trump charity gave $100,000 to
Donald Trump’s charitable foundation gave $100,000 in 2014 to a conservative activist group that was used to help finance a federal lawsuit against New York state Attorney General Eric Schneiderman — the same public official who was suing the real estate mogul for fraud over the operations of Trump University.
The size and timing of the donation to the Citizens United Foundation, an arm of the sprawling conservative network run by David Bossie, who is now Trump’s deputy campaign manager, could raise fresh questions about whether Trump has used his tax-exempt charity to further political and personal causes.

It is a claim, actively promoted by Hillary Clinton’s campaign, that got new attention this week after Trump’s foundation acknowledged paying a penalty to the IRS for an improper $25,000 donation to Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi’s reelection campaign during a time her office was considering whether to join Schneiderman’s lawsuit against Trump University.
