In today's Trump Dump we learn that Donald Trump is a racist. Wait, didn't we already know that? Update!

Courtesy of The Daily Beast:

While shooting the 13th season of The Apprentice, Donald Trump repeatedly used a racial slur to refer to rapper and contestant Lil Jon—even after several producers urged him to stop, three staffers on the show told The Daily Beast.

During an episode of a season that first aired in 2013 (dubbed All-Star Celebrity Apprentice), the “Turn Down for What” singer was tasked, along with the other celebrity contenders, with mounting competing displays around and inside glass trucks in order to promote hair-care products. In the heat of competition, Lil Jon bought and donned an Uncle Sam costume to help advertise the “beautiful” hair product.

During the day’s shoot, Trump himself caught wind of this gimmick and began referring to Lil Jon around Apprentice staff as “Uncle Tom” instead of Uncle Sam.

“Look, he’s Uncle Tom!” one longtime Apprentice staffer recalled Trump blurting out at least twice.

Wait, am I hearing this right?

The man who came to national prominence by questioning the citizenship of the first black President in American history, launched his campaign by calling Mexicans rapists, and who threatens to block every immigrant with a Syrian birth certificate from entering the country, uses racist language?

You could have knocked me over with a feather.

In other Trump news one of his many accusers is planning to flee the country after being freaked out by by supporters.

Courtesy of the Palm Beach Post:

Mindy McGillivray of Palm Springs said she is planning to leave the United States because she fears for her family’s safety since she publicly accused Donald Trump earlier this week of groping her in 2003.

“We feel the backlash of the Trump supporters. It scares us. It intimidates us. We are in fear of our lives,’’ she said in an interview Friday with The Palm Beach Post.

McGillivray's claims were backed up by the photographer who was with her the day of the assault.

And before you dismiss McGillivray's claims has exaggerations you might be interested to learn that the press is becoming increasingly frightened of Trump supporters as well.

The press and accusers are not the only ones being intimidated by Trump supporters.

Courtesy of TPM:

Two Donald Trump supporters openly carrying firearms sat outside the campaign office of a Democratic candidate for Congress in Virginia for nearly 12 hours on Thursday, according to CBS affiliate Newsplex in Charlottesville.

One of the protesters, Daniel Parks, told Newsplex that he held the protest to support Trump.

"I'm just trying to provide a voice for someone who might be closet supporters of Trump. Other people that are a little worried to speak out because of possible persecution," he said.

Parks and another Trump supporter who later joined him outside the campaign of the campaign office Democrat Jane Dittmar's office in Palmyra, Virginia, were openly carrying guns, Su Wolff, a volunteer for Dittmar, told Newsplex.

Overt racism, a rolling back of the 1st Amendment, victim shaming, and armed operatives openly intimidating political opponents.

Just a peek into the future if Donald Trump were to be elected president.

Update: Apparently all of these allegations are driving Trump out of his mind a little.

Trump also bizarrely has suggested that both he and Hillary take drug tests before the next debate:

Donald Trump suggested Saturday that his Democratic rival, Hillary Clinton, has been "getting pumped up" with performance-enhancing drugs and challenged Clinton to take a drug test before the final debate next week.

Trump argued that Clinton was more energetic during the beginning of their debate last Sunday, but lost her steam by the end of the debate. He offered no evidence to back up his wild claim.

"I think we should take a drug test prior to the debate," Trump said during a rally here. "Because I don't know what's going on with her, but at the beginning of her last debate, she was all pumped up at the beginning, and at the end it was like, huff, take me down. She could barely reach her car."

Actually if I remember correctly Clinton attended a rally after the last debate and certainly did not she was running out of energy to me.

Well since Trump is the master of projection this can only mean one thing.
I think Hillary should publicly call Trump's bluff and then mock him during the debate when he refuses.

Just looking at the still on the video makes me shudder.

These Trump supporters are just the icing on the buck-toothed, incestously bred, mother-humping cake of our lowest rungs of our society.

Can we please just put them back in their closet again? They were never meant to have a voice and especially not have the right to vote.

They are smelling up the joint and godammit they just need to go back to their single-wide trailers and molder in private and leave the rest of us alone.

How Donald Trump bullies with his body language

...Trump’s body language went through several periods of transition in the debate. Having to hold a microphone interferes with the natural two-handed gestures on which he relies heavily. We can all recognise them: arms outstretched, arms pointing downwards, palms forward, characteristically signalling his connection with the common man through the distinctive, demonstrative gestures of New York – gestures that work because they speak straight to the usually unconscious nonverbal system.

Trump is quite expert at using some gestures and sequences of gestures in particular. First comes a barrier signal: arms up, palms out. “Beware,” it says. “Danger.” Then he uses a precision hand gesture – a distinctive thumb-and-forefinger position – which alternates with an L-shaped gesture. The danger signal produces an immediate emotional effect, then he reassures the audience with his precision gesture. “I’ve got a plan,” he says nonverbally, “a precise plan. It’s time for a change.”
    Slicing and pointing

That’s what Trump can do, at least when he’s not forced to hold a microphone in one hand as he was at the second debate. I was surprised he didn’t complain about this, since he complained about everything else: the “bias” of the moderators, “it’s three against one”, the fact that Clinton got more time – anything, like a child who thinks that the world isn’t fair.

Looking tired, he started quietly rocking on his feet as Clinton spoke, a telltale sign of negative emotion leaking out nonverbally. Clearly he wasn’t comfortable with the fallout from the leaked tape. He started sniffing when he talked, as he did throughout the first debate. It’s a distraction, and it noticeably gets more pronounced when he’s on the spot.

Didn't Trump say he was an expert at the body language?

He has a basket full of hand gestures, body stances, facial contortions, gotcha jabs- all tricks he used on his "reality" shows.

GOP Busted For Benghazi Attack…Turns Out It Was Their Fault, Not Hillary’s

If you ever want to see a conservative start foaming at the mouth or convulsing uncontrollably, just say the word “Benghazi.” They really won’t let this one go as their favorite attack (maybe second favorite, behind “EMAIL!) on Hillary Clinton, despite overwhelming evidence that she did all she could to alleviate the unfortunate embassy attacks in Benghazi.
The Hill published an article back in 2012 showing exactly where Republicans in the House of Representatives stood on security measures for foreign embassies like the one in Benghazi.

“Republicans have sought to cut hundreds of millions of dollars slated for security at U.S. embassies and consulates since gaining control of the House in 2011.

“Democrats are scrutinizing the GOP proposals in the wake of attacks on U.S. embassies and consulates in the Middle East, one of which saw Ambassador to Libya Christopher Stevens and three other Americans murdered.”

Jesse Ferguson, spokesman for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, said:

“When House Republicans protect budget-busting tax breaks for millionaires first, and slash embassy security, they reveal that their tough talk on national security is really just hollow words.”

That didn’t stop the GOP from launching into 4 years of attacks on Barack Obama, multi-million tax dollar witch hunts against Hillary Clinton, AND accusing Democrats of politicizing the tragedy in spite of the fact they built entire platforms out of politicizing it. The hypocrisy is staggering, but not surprising.

    This is beyond intimidation.

Any candidate for political office that feels threatened has the right to have the threat eliminated. If they don't leave of their own free will, they should be arrested.

If the police won't do it, then you go higher. I wouldn't be surprised if this came under the umbrella of the Secret Service.

'In responding to his accusers with such malice and nothing tangible to discredit their allegations, Trump is further ceding the moral high ground to his opponent and recklessly imperiling Republican candidates down the ballot. His campaign now a steady stream of recriminations, Trump continued to cast the blame everywhere but at his own two feet.'

' As his humiliation deepens and his personal brand is further tarnished, he seems intent only on degrading American politics and exacting revenge on the media he believes are conspiring to prevent him from winning the White House. Feeling "unshackled" to let loose amid a spate of Republican disavowals and an aggregation of polling showing that he almost certainly will not be president, Trump went beyond criticizing the physical appearances of the women he allegedly came onto and commented on that of Hillary Clinton, whom he apparently took stock of during last Sunday's debate.

"When she walked in front of me, believe me, I wasn't impressed," he said.

Pulling back the curtain, Trump told supporters that his campaign advisers had told him not to attack the women criticizing him, saying they told him to ignore the accusations and discuss other policy matters, like job creation.

But he did not take that advice. '

The Clinton campaign announced that Sanders and Warren would be in Colorado for Hillary Clinton:

On Sunday, October 16, and Monday, October 17, Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont will campaign in Colorado for Hillary Clinton. On Sunday, in Denver, Sanders will be joined by Senator Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts to contrast Clinton’s plan to build an economy that works for everyone, not just those at the top, with Donald Trump’s plans, which would benefit himself and other millionaires and billionaires like him. On Monday in Fort Collins at Colorado State University, Sanders will lay out the stakes of the election for students and millennial voters.

At the events, Sanders will talk about Clinton’s plans to raise the minimum wage to a living wage, combat climate change and move to sustainable energy, make public colleges and universities tuition free, and end a broken criminal justice system. Most importantly, Sanders will emphasize the need to defeat Trump and make Clinton our next president.

With ballots dropping on Monday, Sanders will also urge voters to look for their ballots in the mail and to return them early. The 2016 election is the first presidential election in Colorado in which every active Colorado voter will get their ballot in the mail.

The Republicans and Trump can’t match the star power that Hillary Clinton can deploy to get out the vote. Warren and Sanders were the ticket that some progressives wanted to see in the general election, but the two powerhouses of the left will be hitting the road to try to seal the deal for Hillary Clinton in Colorado.

Two speeches in two hours crystallize the state of Campaign 2016

Two speeches. Two Americas. A pair of apocalyptic arguments and one call to burn down the house. That’s the summation from just two remarkable hours Thursday that crystallized the final month of Campaign 2016.

In back-to-back appearances, in what might be the two most compelling hours of the entire election, Michelle Obama in New Hampshire and Donald Trump in Florida delivered the fiercest, most provocative and hardest-hitting speeches of an election cycle that has been without precedent in hot rhetoric.

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/two-speeches-in-two-hours-crystallized-the-state-of-campaign-2016/2016/10/13/a7931cbc-9177-11e6-9c52-0b10449e33c4_story.html
Michelle Obama’s speech on Donald Trump was remarkable

...An at-times emotional Obama admitted that she “couldn't stop thinking about” the comments made by Trump and had to address them in her speech." It has shaken me to my core in a way that I couldn’t have predicted,” she added. Her speech reflected just how much Trump's remarks affected her.

“This is not normal,” Mrs Obama said at one point. “This is not politics as usual.” At another she insisted that “strong men don't need to put down women to make themselves feel powerful.”

What Mrs Obama did in the speech is put a face and a name — and a very high-profile one at that — to Trump's words on that bus in 2005. She didn't say “words hurt” or “words have impact,” but that was quite clearly the message she was sending. Even Michelle Obama, first lady of the United States, knows what it is like to be ogled, to be treated as an object by men.

That's powerful stuff. (If you have not seen or heard her speech, you should check it out here.)

Obama's speech will go down as one of the most important of this political cycle, a moment in which she crystallized the feelings of many women in the wake of the Trump tape. She was outraged, yes, but also hurt — for herself and for women more broadly. And she expressed all of those emotions in ways you rarely see any politician (or private citizen do) — particularly one as well known as Mrs. Obama.

The 2016 Election Will Never End

November 8th may just be the start.

...By now, you know that walking Illinois-Nazi-rally Donald Trump is finished. His polls are shit. His reputation is somehow worse than it was when he started running for office. His spokespeople are imbeciles. His ground game is nonexistent. He has a record of scandal and disgrace that will NEVER be matched by anyone ever again. (I feel like I’m watching Cy Young pitch when he opens his mouth.) He’s gonna get trounced.

And I wish the prospect of a Trump defeat offered us all some measure of relief. I wish I could point at November 8th on the calendar and tell you, definitively, that this living nightmare will finally be fucking over. But I can’t. I know that isn’t true at all. I know that November 8th is only the beginning of our miseries, because one of the most depressing things about this election season—which has already put America on the brink of suicide—is the fact that it isn’t gonna end on Election Day.

...We will never be free of this election, not when there’s profit to be had from it, both financially and ideologically. The madness of 2016 will bleed into 2020, and then into 2024, and on and on with no rest. I hate admitting this. I genuinely believe that people are good, for the most part. But I’ve seen too much now. In a sane universe, the number of Trump supporters is zero. The fact that he has any support at all—much less from millions of people—suggests a brokenness in America that will take a long, long time to fix, if it ever gets fixed at all.

Trump's rhetoric after he loses the race will not have the coverage this election cycle has provided him.

I can hardly wait to not see him covered every minute of the day on CNN and MSNBC.

Better yet, perhaps he'll keel over from a heart attack due to becoming the big 'loser' and we'll never hear from his vile mouth again.

      Delete
    2. @3:36 -- I am not optimistic the MSM will decline to seize any money-making coverage of Trump after November 8th.

And, if he urges civil disobedience, declaring the election rigged and not legitimate, the right to bear arms against such a government will be sanctioned by Trump.

They need to cover his incitements to riots; it could take him down as a traitor.

Things are going to get real very soon, beg. on November 8th or before if early voting begins on the ground in some states. Intimidation is only the beginning, I fear.

There are so many "men" itching to prove their manhood, and shoot off their guns, there will be a trigger pulled, and Trump, even if he doesn't pull it, will be blamed as instigator , I hope.

Ok I need advice. My husband and I are trying to decide how to combine out last names for our future kids' names. I kind of like the idea of making one a middle name, or just flat out coming up with a new last name that combines our two surnames. My husband is indifferent, but I think he leans to combo.
